This was an incredibly peaceful getaway! We loved the walk through the woods, meeting the friendly pup on the property, and spending time relaxing on the bench on the dock. We hope to be back!

This is such a tranquil spot, and perfect for a last night in MN after some time in Minneapolis. My husband loved the fishing access and caught a few bass! The guest house was modern and pristine; no worries about cleanliness whatsoever. We had no trouble accessing mobile internet. Hosts were very nice!

Return visit for 3 nights. Greg and Christie were there to greet us along with Picasso. We enjoyed the long weekend with more time to soak in the quiet time on their hammocks, listening to the sound of nature and breathing fresh air. Just what we needed! Thanks again for a wonderful stay!

Peaceful lake getaway

We loved our stay. It was very peaceful and the loft floor to ceiling window to look out at the birds and field. We used the bench on the dock enjoying the lake and the birds.

Peaceful and Disconnected

This loft is exactly as advertised. If you want a place to decompress and disconnect, this is your place. The lake is beautiful and the loft is very well kept. Another plus is you are only a 45-60 minute drive from MSP, so depending on where you want to go in the city, you can be there, generally, within the hour. It’s the best of both worlds. My wife and I would highly recommend this place.

Everything and more

Instructions for check in was very clear. Once we arrived, we were happily greeted by Picasso (dog) and Craig. Very friendly and welcoming. The stay was everything and more. Peaceful, private and perfect to get refocused in nature. We laid in the hammocks and laid our blanket down in the yard. Beautiful views on the deck. I would recommend cover up or bug spray as mosquitoes were aggressive. We were so impressed by the night after checking out of our one-night stay, we booked for a 3-night stay. Can’t wait to return!

Great stay west of the metro

We had a great stay here for a short weekend out of town. The space was clean and exactly as it was pictured when we booked. Check in was easy and the property was beautiful. We would stay again without hesitation.

Great little getaway!

Perfect for a night away! The lake is gorgeous, the indoor space is very clean and the owners have a sweet and friendly dog we enjoyed meeting. My only complaint (and this is not the owner’s fault) is that the bathroom has loft-style walls, so some on its walls are open at the top and don’t fully connect to the ceiling, which is not ideal for privacy. Otherwise the place is great though!

Excellent escape.

We stayed here to attend a wedding nearby. The accomodations were exactly as described. The space was very clean and comfortable. Host family was very nice. Location was convenient but also secluded and relaxing. We highly recommend.

Quick Get Away

Did a little ice fishing. Enjoyed the quiet loft and played some cards. Would be great in the summer months with the lake. trail, and fire. It was a chilly week-end outside.

Great one-night stay less than an hour away from Twin Cities

We were looking for a quick getaway to celebrate our anniversary and this place was perfect. Great weather to take in the trail around the property, take the canoe out for a paddle, read a little in the hammocks and then enjoy a fire lakeside at the end of the night. Greg and Christie were great hosts. Good recommendation for dinner at Bait & Hook just west of town for some seafood. Highly recommend staying there.

Beautiful Lake Getaway!!!

Unbelievably quaint and gorgeous. The lake and accommodations were above and beyond. Perfect for a weekend getaway with my husband! Hosts (and puppy Picasso) were kind and friendly!!! So thankful for this place.

Beautiful spot!

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay here. It was gorgeous, just as pictured (or more so). The place was clean and very cute and nice, had everything we needed. The bed was super comfortable. We took the canoe out and watched a bald eagle above us for quite some time. The hosts were very kind and had excellent communication. Overall would highly recommend!

Perfect place to reset!

I needed a break from the chaos of life. I was able to relax and do what I wanted, when I wanted. Jigsaw puzzle, wine, snack, nature walk, sit by the lake and yoga. I can’t wait to come back!
