Situé dans la belle communauté de la plage de Whalehead, cette maison semi-bord de mer de plus de 3100 pieds carrés regorge d'équipements pour vous faire passer de bonnes vacances pour vous et vos invités. Cette maison dispose de quatre suites parentales, toutes avec salle de bain complète, vue imprenable sur l'océan et la plage, avec une grande chambre spacieuse et un espace de vie secondaire. Sortez et profitez d'une grande cour arrière avec une terrasse à plusieurs niveaux.

Lorsque vous entrez dans la propriété, vous serez dans notre espace de vie accueillant au premier étage. Il contient une télévision LCD grand écran, des sièges, une salle de bain complète et une laveuse et une sécheuse.
Hors de la zone principale, vous trouverez 4 chambres.
Profitez de notre suite pour enfants avec chambre avec lits superposés (4 lits) et chambre gigogne avec un lit jumeau gigogne relié par un plein (3 lits au total) et une salle de bain couloir partagé.

Excellent location, short walk to beach. Well appointed kitchen with all essentials present. Had an A/C issue that was quickly addressed and fixed. As noted in previous reviews, some beds and towels could use an update. Plenty of beach chairs, games, and puzzles for all.

Location is great. Deck could use a refresh. Kitchen well appointed but the refrigerator location made getting things out awkward. Tons of beach chairs. Only complaint was that the house was not clean at check in. Cleaner did stay to 7pm to finish. Not all beds had sheets but the host did respond. Also, water pressure in the showers were weak.

This house was located very close to the beach, restaurants, and shopping. There was plenty of room for our group of 15 to gather We enjoyed using the hot tub and pool

Great House

We had 10 adults and 5 kids with room to spare. House was clean and in a great spot 4 houses down from the beach access. It was unusually cool in OBX for our trip which was a bummer but that's not the houses fault. Would definitely recommend!

Best Big Family OBX House

The staff from owner services was very responsive and helpful in promply caring for all of our needs. The house was clean and very well kept up as well as conveniently located a stones throw from the beach. We stayed with grandparents and 2 families with an assortment of kids ages 3 month to 14 yeard old and everyone had plenty of space to do as they pleased. Will definitely book this house again next year.

family vacation

We had a great time. Plenty of room for everyone. House was stocked amazingly. had plenty of dishes....everything you could think of. Only thing missing was a keurig but had two coffee makers I just brought pods thinking it would be a keurig but everything else was amazing.

Great stay in a quirky house close to the beach

Great house, if a little quirky. It was odd that the first floor is only accessible via outside stairs or the elevator, but not really an issue for our group. Everything else was as-advertised, clean, and comfortable. We enjoyed the pool and hot tub and that the beach access was only half a block away. A small check-in miscommunication was remedied promptly by the property manager, and the host was quick to answer a question we had about the TVs. Overall we had a great holiday weekend here!

Family vacation 7/22 to 7/29

This house was excellent Close to the beach access Great for a big family vacation Only thing I can give a poor review on is that there is no cable and internet was out most of our stay .. so no streaming unless you had a hot spot on your phone.. so we could not use the theater room. Pool was excellent as well .. over all great vacation.

The house is tired. Broken and loose decking, easy to get splinters. Some siding was hanging. Dirty walls. The hot tub didn’t work for over half the week. Not worth the money.

We loved our time on Corolla. This house worked great for our group - good layout, nice location one row off beach. Fridge and storage was a little small for the size of the house, and a bit dated. Two dishwashers but not enough of some other kitchen needs. But it worked! One thing to be aware of - traffic getting on and off the island on Saturday’s is a nightmare - took us over 2.5 hours to get off the island when we left. But this house is only a few miles from the 4x4 beach and once you’re there it’s a great spot. Appreciated that there were sheets , towels and beach towels provided. Really had a lovely week!

Beautiful beach home!

My family and our friends really enjoyed this lovely home. We had plenty of space for the four adults and 8 children. The children loved having their own floor and their own family room area. The adults loved the two master suites and being on the same floor as the kitchen. The hot tub and pool were wonderful. The kitchen had everything we needed. Whenever we called the property manager for a replacement item, it showed up almost immediately! The location to the beach was fantastic- just a few homes away from beach access. Also, the surrounding area is perfect - close to harris teeter and food lion and many restaurants and the wild horse beach. The house was sparkling clean! The large table fit the 12 of us. And the house is so beautifully decorated. We will definitely look to return and stay here again!

Elevator challenge but overall a nice house

The house is a great size for a large family. Tons of room, nicely done first floor addition, large hot tub, great parking space, stocked kitchen with a lot of dining and counter space. Very close to the beach as well. The elevator was not working when we arrived on a Saturday which caused a big issue for us as a person in our family needed the elevator and that is why we booked a home with an elevator. The lack of elevator also meant those staying on the first floor had to go outside to gain access to the other floors. We were not notified in advance of the elevator issue, it was not fixed until Tuesday and then would not work again the day we left. The lack of elevator half the week was a huge challenge for our family during our stay. The house could use a good deep cleaning. Thank you.

Great location, but needs significant maintenance/upgrades

This is prime location on the beach access road and short (less than 5-minute) walk to the beach. The property itself is spacious and has bathrooms for almost every bedroom, however the features and furnishings are very worn and outdated. In addition, we had several major issues during our stay: 1) We could not check in until 5 pm due to cleaning not being done on time; 2) there is no way to lock the doors from inside so that they cannot be opened (e.g. a deadbolt), which was a serious concern for us with young children in a house with a pool; 3) most of the beach chairs and umbrellas provided were non-working or significantly rusted and needed to be replaced; 4) the ice-maker in the fridge was not working, in spite of being listed among the amenities. Maintenance of the property was also a concern: the deck was so worn that rusty nails poked out and some of us got splinters; the air filters had clearly not been changed/cleaned in some time; some window frames showed signs of rot and mold. Overall, we would look to find another place in the future for this price.

Disappointing

Owner who seemed interested and involved prior to arrival, disappeared. 4 messages left within 24 hours, another message within 48 hours with what could have been minor issues but became magnified problems with unresponsiveness. Received terse, non-specific response 1 and 1/2 weeks after trip ended. Local agent tried to assist, provided light bulbs, but no promises kept. Honestly, would not have even considered renting this property during football season knowing TV only accessible with Roku and streaming service subscriptions. No cable or Netflix, as mentioned in rental agreement. First beach vacation I had to buy ice since camping with my family at the beach as a teenager many years ago. Ice never reimbursed, as promised by agent. No credit offered for disappointment. Biggest disappointment was wasting time on vacation trying to solve problems that should have never existed. Surprised to find 3 cigarette butts on deck of non-smoking house. Glass and plastic trash in yard less of a problem as not used. Polling my guests, the overall impression was "shabby." Excellent location. House seemed solid. Elevator worked well for entire stay. WARNING- front stairs dangerous if departing in the dark to "beat the rush." Motion activated driveway light does not activate until you fall down the stairs! Major injuries. Being patient with owner responding is NOT a good idea. After trip, discovered VRBO can help with issues, but ONLY if reported within 12 hours of arrival.

Short walk to the beach

The location was ideal for our large family. Close to the beach and lighthouse. The house could use new refrigerators, both were in a state of disrepair. Wall to wall carpeting is old. There were no beach towels or decent new beach chairs as promised. Will be more careful to read reviews next time.

The pictures showed open area under the house. When we got there, there was no area under the house as it was constructed into rooms. Pictured were lounge chairs art the pool, there were no lounge chairs

Summer vacation

Great location short walk to Baracuda beach entrance. House clean pool area could use updating but pool /hot tub clean.house close to restaurants and shopping. BBQ there to use and a stocked kitchen . Bring your own beach chairs and umbrellas . Would stay again

Great house and location

The house was in a great location with easy access to the beach along with a 5 minute ride to the grocery store and shops. Plenty of space for family meals together and not spread out. Will definitely consider this house again when we go back next year.
