It was a great location, close to a lot of things and I was surprised at how quiet at night it was. The laundry was key, though a little tricky to figure out. Overall, it was a great place stay.

Great Place and Location

If you’re looking to be in the center of the action with amazing restaurants and bars all around you this is the place - Only a 7 minute walk to Saint Mark Sq. This apartment is beautiful and functional and was more than expected, I would definitely stay here again.

Perfect apartment to live Venice

This is the perfect apartment for some one to live Venice. Yes the restaurants in the area are great but it's fun to grocery shop and have some of your meals in. The building is quiet as is the neighbourhood even if it's a short walk to St Marc's. We totally enjoyed our stay.

Perfect Venice stay

I looked for days on the various accommodation websites, about 11 months prior to our Italian holiday - this is the best place for two people without doubt. If you are lucky enough to find it available, just book it. It’s beautifully renovated, basically new, surrounded by canals. Occasional passing singing gondoliers a bonus. Close to the water bus stop and the main attractions without being overcrowded. We loved it.

Perfect city perfect place

The apartment is located just steps from St. Marcs and has canals on two sides. The gondolas pass by every minute, sometimes with music and singing. A thousand restaurants and a lovely apartment. The AC works great! Achilina is AMAZING! Lots of Sun and fun. Can't wait to come back again.

Wonderful Holiday experience

This delightful apartment was in a great location. We were able to take the water bus from the airport to the San Zacchario stop and from there it was just a few minute walk (can even avoid bridges if you don’t get turned around). Right in the heart of restaurants and gondola rides and only a few minutes from St Marks. Great interiors to the apartment made returning to our temporary home something to look forward to in between the many things to do in Venice. The host was amazing as well and made sure we felt welcome.

Perfect for a short visit in Venice

The appt is perfectly situated a few minutes walk from San Marco and even though it is busy at day it is very quiet at night. In daytime gondoliers pass right under your window in the canal. The appt is clean well equiped but the dishwasher wasn’t working during our stay. The owners were’nt present but very nice in trying to respond to our needs via emails.

You Can't Get Better Than This!

Stop searching and reserve this property! The Rio del Vin accommodation exceeded all our expectations, and I recommend this apartment to everyone! Some highlights: Location: You can't get any better than this. The apartment is less than 1 min walk from the water taxi 'port' with multiple lines so you can easily access the entire island without a long wait time. The location is also easily walkable to all the major attractions! Restaurants in the area vary in price range which was helpful for dinner plans and there is a wonderful corner coffee shop/bar two doors down that we went to every morning and afternoon. Apartment: Clean, Comfortable, and Quiet! The size of the apartment was perfect with space to spread out for a week-long stay. Everything was spotless when we arrived and the kitchen is well stocked with good quality items! The bed, sheets, and pillows were very comfortable. Photos don't do this location justice since there is a canal on two sides with gondolas passing by throughout the day. We loved opening the windows and watching tourists float by and listen to the occasional gondola singer. The only two 'cons' if I had to critique was that there wasn't enough hangers and it would have been helpful to have a fan in the bedroom. And that is being picky, everything was perfect about this accommodation!

Logement très bien situé, équipement (ameublement, éclairage, équipement de cuisine) degrande qualité Lit spacieux et très confortable... Des attentions bien agréables pour les locataires à l'arrivée... Propriétaire très soucieuse du confort de ses locataires, à leur écoute, avant et pendant le séjour... Seuls défauts: -pas de fours, ni micro-ondes ni classique -léger bruit de chaudière perceptible depuis la chambre, pour ceux qui ont l'ouie fine. Malgré ces légers défauts, nous reviendrons sans hésitation, tant le rapport qualité-prix-agrément s'avère excellent. Annie et Fredy

Venedig mittendrin - so wie man Venedig am besten erlebt

Für zwei Personen optimal mit sehr feiner Ausstattung - topmodern mitten im historischen Rahmen. Gondeln kommen von Morgen bis Abend vorbei auf dem kleinen Kanal auf den man vom Fenster guckt. Venedig ist eine Stimmung, die man hier super mitbekommt - und die man als Tagestourist nie erfährt. Wir haben die Wohnung nun zweimal benutzt - ein drittes Mal kommt sicherlich auch.

Eine alte renovierte Wohnung im Zentrum von Venedig mit vorbeirudernden Gondeln und kurze Strecken ob du zur Biennale willst, mit den Vaporettos von San Zaccharia die ganze Lagune sehen willst oder einfach in der Innenstadt schlendern und Venedig einatmen willst. Wir kommen wieder - viel mehr Venedig geht nicht ❤️❤️❤️

Location, Location, Location!

This property couldn’t be in a better location and you can easily walk to St. Mark’s Square or access a water taxi. The apartment is extremely clean and tidy and has everything you might need, including a very comfortable bed and AC for hot weather. We were pleasantly surprised to be greeted at the water taxi by a representative of the property who took us to the apartment and showed us everything we needed to know. I would highly recommend this property and we look forward to a return visit!

Ideal!

This lovely apartment provided us with a clean, comfortable and peaceful base from which we explored this amazing city. Located literally minutes from the San Zaccaria Vaporetto stop, we had instant access to boats that took us to and from airport Marco Polo, the outer islands and inner canals of this magical Lagoon. Achillina's apartment is located minutes from Piazza San Marco which would prompt one to worry about noise levels etc...not a problem! This apartment is located to the rear of the building where the only sound(s) are the scraping of the gondolas as they make their way around the Rio Canal at the base of the building. We will be back.

Perfect Accommodation with perfect location

This is my best experience with a VRBO to date. Venice can be a little intimidating to get around and the owners of this property advised us of the best mode of transport from the airport and met us at our stop and walked us to the apartment. They also provided recommendations on where to go and eat. Lastly, it was so close to the landmarks. Very easy to walk to the major landmarks and our travel to the other islands was super easy because of the stops so close to the property. I fell in love with Venice on this trip and, I believe, because of the spectacular experience we had here

Eccellente scelta.

L'appartamento, da poco ristrutturato, è al primo piano di un bel palazzo con ascensore, luminoso, grazie a 4 ampie finestre nella zona giorno, pulitissimo, ben arredato e confortevole (molto silenzioso). Ottima la posizione: centrale ma fuori dal flusso eccessivo di turisti e vicinissima al vaporetto San Zaccaria. Le foto su HomeAway ne danno una esatta immagine. Vicinissimi, infine, un'ottima gelateria e un eccellente ristorante: "Il Ridotto".
