Great place for a family

Even though we’ll only spend one night here on our way to Tropea it was a great place to stay. Close to the train station and other amenities. Mario was fantastic and responsive as a host

Our stay at Domus Palombi was excellent. Mario was very helpful in offering advice on the best ways to get to the beautiful apartment and how to navigate the area for new world travels like us. The apartment was very spacious and clean with many helpful amenities like air conditioning, soaps, towels, television, and coffee. The apartment is great for a small group especially with children. Mario also planned for the language barrier by having his son, Marco meet with us as well during check in. Marco is also a tour guide, which hopefully we will be taking advantage of in a future stay at Domus Palombi. The location is a easy train ride from Rome and is in a beautiful Mediterranean coastal city with its own sites. And the train station is only 2 blocks from the apartment. I highly recommend this apartment for your next trip! Mario and Marco are very friendly and helpful. Thank you for your hospitality!

We spent one night on our way to a cruise. There were 6 of us and the accommodations were excellent. A short walk from the train station and the main town area. Our host was very gracious. The value was also great compared to staying at a hotel.

Nice place in a convenient location

Very clean spacious apartment in great condition. Very good ac units in the bedrooms ( better than we found elsewhere). Close to train station on opposite side from beach and most amenities so quieter but a bit more of a walk to some things. Modestly equipped compared to North American standards but better than most other places we stayed in Italy. Only thing we didn’t like was beds were too soft with pillows too hard for our tastes. Everything else was nice - would easily sleep 5 or 6 people. Ladispoli is a convenient spot with pretty but dirty (like lots of Italy) beaches and easy access to central Rome and airport ( if you don’t wanna stay in Rome proper). Food was cheaper than elsewhere with some nice eating places right on the beach and fewer non-Italian tourists than other places ( so you might wanna brush up on your Italian a bit to stay here).

The Hoast & his family were ABSOLUTELY PERFECT hosts. There is NOT ONE THING I would change about my ENTIRE month booking at this location. It is perfectly close to the trains, downtown, ocean & supermarket. The host & his family were attentive to our needs and went above and beyond in every area possible to make our family vacation perfect! We felt safe 100% of the time. We trusted the host & their family. Everything was clean - anything that needed fixed was done quickly. AC throughout the room made the hot summer days more enjoyable. At times we asked for help that most hosts would say "that's not our job" BUT the host was immediately there to help! I give this location & host a 100 out of 100!

Nice place

Clean and spacious place in Ladispoli. Beach is actually 1 1/2 miles away, sand is course and black , sea is very polluted. In talking to locals, no one swims in the water due to the condition. It’s September and we were the only people on the beach. Rome is about 45 minutes to one hour by train and the town center is behind the train station about 15 minute walk. The owners are very nice. Wifi is very spotty, most of the time it’s down. Bring mosquito repellent and ointment as it’s needed after getting eaten alive. Repellents don’t really work, mosquitoes are very vicious and persistent to go through your clothes even jeans and shoes. Parking is inside the gate and safe. The apartment is fully furnished and plenty of hot water for showers,

Perfect in every way

We were looking for a large apartment close to Rome with access to the train that goes to Rome and Domus Palombi was perfect in every way, immaculate, ground floor, off street parking with everything we needed during our 9 day stay . The train was a short walk, there were restaurants, coffee bars, grocery stores all in walking distance. We were visiting relatives near Rome and this was the perfect location. The hosts, Mario and Pina Palombi couldn't have been nicer and we hope to return someday! Thank you for great memories!

This would be one of the best. Everybody we had dealings with were delightful. The unit was immaculate and even shampoo and facial cleansers for the ladies. The beds were extremely comfortable. I can find no faults with this property and would recommend it to anyone.

Very much a home away from home

The property has a homely vibe. It was excellent. Close to the train and a neighborhood store/restaurant on the corner. Very quiet and clean.

Lovely apartment in a seaside town

The apartment was very spacious and well equipped. The furnishings were also very nice. The apartment includes a generous terrace with a dining table, which unfortunately we did not get to take advantage of because we were only there for one night and it was cold and rainy!

Super verblijf

Voor het eerst een appartement geboekt. We vonden het super. Hele aardige ontvangst door de eigenaren. Appartement was super schoon en over compleet. Alles was echt aanwezig. Tot aan strandhandoeken en parasols aan toe. Wij verbleven bijna 2 weken en in die periode hebben we 2x handdoek wissel gehad en 1x bedlinnen. Heel netjes. Appartement ligt op perfecte locatie ten opzichte van openbaar vervoer centrum en strand. Echt een aanrader.
