Asseyez-vous détendre et profiter des magnifiques couchers de soleil et des vues à couper le souffle de Little Dauphin Island depuis le porche arrière couvert.
Vous pouvez apporter vos Kayaks et lancer depuis l'arrière. Aussi beaucoup de place pour le bateau. Il y a un embarcadère public à proximité à Estuarium. Vous pouvez regarder les bateaux passer, les dauphins nager, les poissons sauter et les pélicans s'envoler ou marcher vers l'eau avec votre canne à pêche et attraper le gros !!!
POUR LES OISEAUX, C'EST L'EMPLACEMENT, L'EMPLACEMENT, L'EMPLACEMENT !!!
De mars à mai, c'est la migration printanière néo-tropicale, où les oiseaux d'Amérique centrale et du Sud s'arrêtent pour se reposer pendant leur long voyage. Jusqu'à 324 espèces ont été vues sur l'île.
C'est l'endroit idéal pour observer les oiseaux. Dauphin Island a remporté le prix de la ville la plus ornithologique de l'Amérique dans la catégorie des petites villes côtières 2006 !!! Devinez quoi Dauphin Island a également gagné en 2007 !!!Notre maison se trouve dans la même rue que le parc Shell Mound et la réserve d'arbres à chèvres. alors marchez depuis votre maison pour observer les oiseaux.
Cette maison joliment décorée de trois chambres, deux salles de bain dort un maximum de six. Il comprend un roi, une reine et deux jumeaux. Le plan d'étage ouvert vous permet de préparer vos repas dans la cuisine bien équipée tout en regardant les enfants jouer au hockey sur air ou à la piscine! (La table se retourne pour la piscine ou l'air hockey).
Nous avons une vidéothèque pour les jours de pluie et des livres pour le lecteur avide. ma mère aime s'asseoir sur le pont et lire. Le terrain de golf est à proximité avec de belles vues sur l'océan. Une de nos choses préférées à faire est d'aller à Skinners et ramasser des crevettes fraîches pour le dîner. Vous ne pouvez pas battre la fraîcheur !!!
Apportez vos vélos est un court trajet vers les belles plages de sable blanc. Si vous n'avez jamais connu la beauté de la côte du golfe. c'est le moment. Vous pouvez charger la voiture pour un trajet de 2 minutes à la jetée et à la plage. Nous sommes un pâté de maisons de Bienville Blvd. Non loin du navire et de la rive (l'épicerie / quincaillerie locale), saisissez la lampe de poche jusqu'au crépuscule et passez au crabe.
Les enfants adorent l'excitation de la pêche au crabe !!Notre fils a passé des heures à attraper des crabes dans la cour arrière !! Il a en fait attrapé 20 crabes bleus que nous avons bouillis et mangés !! Venez profiter de la vie de l'île tranquille et du plaisir en famille. Nous sommes dans une rue calme avec beaucoup d'oiseaux chanteurs ...
Vous pouvez maintenant louer des kayaks livrés à la maison et lancer directement à partir de la cour arrière.
LES PETITS ANIMAUX DE COMPAGNIE SONT ADMIS SUR UN CAS PAR BASE DE CAS Ne pas fumer. TOUTES LES PREUVES DE FUMER LE DEPOT SERONT RENONCÉES. Hebdomadaire sauf si noté par le taux quotidien. 50% dû au moment de la réservation le reste dû 30 jours avant l'arrivée.

Nice stay on a calming island
Our family enjoyed the beach house. You can see the water from the house and it is a very short walk to the water. Those house is large with updated bedrooms and bathrooms.

Calm and relaxing
House is perfect for a family. Exactly what is shown and described. Clean quiet relaxing bay in the backyard. Close to everything on the island awesome beaches or stay right there and enjoy the bay. Great, comfortable home over looking Dauphin Island Bay. Well stocked with cooking equipment and kitchen appliances. Very clean home.
For birders you are in walking distance to the Shell Mound and Goat Tree sites.

Property was just as the pictures showed. It was clean, bed was very comfortable. There was everything available that we needed. We enjoyed catching crab and putting our kayaks into the bay from the back yard. Very beautiful and relaxing view.

Had a great time
Really nice place to stay for several days. Had a minor issue but Maureen got it taken care of promptly. King bed was comfortable. No complaints about the others from the kids. Really liked the Forts, ferry, and the USS Alabama. Beaches were nice on both ends of the island. Great view off the porch. Was really nice to sit out there.

Great House and Host!
Maureen is a wonderful host! She was very responsive and she has helpful information about the house and island on the fridge! The house was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked. We had everything we needed; even a salad spinner!! Having the bay right outside the doorway was very nice and the deck is the perfect spot to watch the sun rise!

We will be back.
We had a blast. My boys loved the house the most. We needed to come a few weeks later to get in the ocean, but it was perfect to visit all the museums, and garden, aquarium, and so much more. The weather was great to be walking around. The fire place table is the best thing to relax to at night watching the sunset. 10 out of 10.

Great relaxing house
We have stayed here several times before and absolutely love the house. We come to Dauphin Island to go birding during spring and/or fall migration. This house is the perfect location as it is in walking distance to two of the best hot spots on the island. And a short drive to several others.
The kitchen is well stocked and roomy. The beds comfortable. Since our last visit the stairs leading to the house entrance have been rebuilt and are much easier to use.
We will be back.

Attractive, comfortable home in a lovely setting
We were very comfortable in this home. There were very nice touches. Our granddaughters were thrilled with the stuffed animals placed on their beds. The home was so attractively decorated. The water access was nice with benches to watch the sunset. The deck area was very comfortable! The neighborhood was quiet and we felt very safe there. We were disappointed that the hammock and kayak that were in the picture were not there.

We will be back!
This was the first time to visit Daulphin Island. I have fallen in love with house and the island. Maureen (the owner) was great. If I had a question she was available and helpful with our stay. Her house is warm and cozy and the view of the bay is to die for. My English bulldog loved it here too. Thanks Maureen we will see you next year!!!

Beautiful home and view. Very well stocked with supplies needed. Although the beds were rough. The best bed in the house is the king. The queen and the twins are very uncomfortable! We left early due to medical issues due to couch sleeping! The island is everything we expected and more!! Thank again for sharing your beautiful home!!

Great Little Spot
The property was very easy to locate in a quiet area of the island. This was our first time to ever visit the island and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The property was very clean and well kept and felt surprisingly spacious as it utilized the square footage very efficiently. We rate the property very high and will likely stay there again in the future if we can.
A few things: bring bug spray, especially if you plan on spending time outside of the house around the property, so many mosquitos. Bring extra laundry detergent, paper towels, toilet paper and trash bags. There were only 2 packs of powdered laundry detergent, 2 rolls of TP, 1 roll of paper towels and 2 trash bags provided, not quite enough for a 6 person stay.
Again, overall we were very happy with our stay and the property.

Maureen and Kurt, Just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed your beautiful Dauphin Island House! We couldn't have picked a better place to celebrate our 20th Wedding Anniversary! The house is so warm and welcoming, decorated beautifully and clean as a whistle! The view from the deck is perfect, and the neighborhood is quiet and peaceful! The weather was terrific, except for Saturday, but with the pool /air hockey table, great collection of movies, and comfortable house, we had a wonderful time anyway in spite of the rain! On the Sunny days, we toured the Island, mostly on foot or bike, and enjoyed all of the wonderful birding areas, and the unspoiled beaches! It is the perfect getaway for anyone wanting to avoid the crowded, commercialized beach scene!We have a new-found appreciation for bird watching now!! Dauphin Island is wonderful! So many friendly folks, great seafood and a wonderful little bakery that serves up great breakfast items and diet bashing treats!! The cream cheese danish are wonderful!!! All in all our trip was one of the best ever and your place was perfect! I recommend it to anyone, couples, families or someone looking for a wonderful , restful retreat! My best friend and her husband bought a condo here and we came to visit from San Diego Ca.We fell in love with this quiet little island.There are no crowds no matter when you are here if we were on the beaches in San diego it would be difficult with our 7 yr old because of the amount of people ( wall to wall) and the partying.Plus the water is so warm and calm!! Dauphin Island is like going back in time!! no crowds beautiful white sand beaches!! GREAT FOR FAMILIES!!

We enjoy the beautiful water views and the constant parade of boats.The neighborhood is quiet with lots of birds and close to the major attractions. The birding attractions are on our street!! Which I didn't know untill after we bought it!!We are a short bike ride to Fort Gaines, the Estuarium, We love the air hockey and pool tablmme and the beachy decor!!!It Just feels like home when we come over the Dauphin Island Bridge.
