Weather was cold and very windy, but the stay was great. The view was amazing and the house was very nice. Dauphin Island for years has been our favorite place and our Thanksgiving stay did not disappoint.

Location was stellar. Enjoyed being able to fish off the dock and watch boat traffic to and from the marina next door. Easy walk, bike ride, or golf cart ride to restaurants, both ends of island and park across the street for watching the amazing sunsets !

Absolutely amazing
 everything about the listing is accurate, new appliances, updated interiors, all around just a great home. The property has amazing views and is very peaceful and quiet. No need to continue looking for properties to book, if you’re interested in a wonderful relaxing week this is the place for you to stay. We will for sure be booking this property again.

Very lovely place

Dreamcatcher is one of the most beautiful places I have stayed.. the water view with boats going by was wonderful . My grandson especially loved this. He is 3.Everything was lovely. Dauphin island is low key and I suggest you check places to eat in advance b/c many are not open every day. West end beach at sunset is a marvel. Many amenities were included at the house like a big straw bag for beach going, a floater vest for small child , maps, soap and shampoo and many condiments. Very thoughtful.

Excellent Water Front Property

This is our 2nd time staying at the Dreamcatcher and it was just as wonderful the second time around. The property is clean and extremely comfortable with gorgeous views of the water throughout the home!

As soon as we walked into the Dreamcatcher, it was so clean, beautiful and charming to behold! Like we stepped into an enchanting hgtv beach show episode! We loved all the natural light and fun decor. The Dreamcatcher was the perfect location with a beautiful, expansive view of the bay. We enjoyed watching the boats go by and having our own dock. We used the crab traps and caught a few crabs which was a first time experience for us that we loved. We were able to use the beach cruisers available and rode them to the lighthouse bakery nearby for delicious smoothies and cinnamon rolls. Everything was close by- the beach, restaurants and the ferry to Gulf Shores! Heather, our host, always responded promptly to our needs and questions which made for the perfect experience for us. We highly recommend staying at the Dreamcatcher, you won’t be disappointed!!

Dream Vacation

We could not have imagined a better experience than the Dreamcatcher! The house was immaculate and exactly as the listing described. There were so many small touches that truly made us feel like we were visiting someone’s home, not just their vacation rental house. It’s obvious they care! Heather was so easy to communicate with and graciously answered any question I sent her way. She even checked on us during a weather alert! The house was well equipped with anything we needed to enjoy our time inside, outside or while at the beach. The house had so many things that even our family staying in another rental didn’t have (and theirs were much more expensive). My husband and sons had the best time fishing on the dock and I enjoyed sunrises on the patio with coffee. The neighbors were so nice, offering restaurant recommendations and even let my sons and niece meet their dogs. The location is close to everything. If we happen to visit Dauphin Island again, we will seek out The Dreamcatcher as our first rental choice and will recommend this house to anyone looking to stay on the island. Thank you for making our stay so memorable!

Just What We Were Looking For!

We travel quite a bit and anywhere coastal is my favorite destination. Couldn't believe that we had not been to Dauphin Island in 10 years! Still the sleepy little island I remembered. And Heather's place was the PERFECT location for my husband and I to go for a long weekend for some rest and relaxation. Long lazy days sitting on the deck watching the sunrise, drinking coffee and watching the boats go by, reading my book at the sweet little beach we found nearby, bike rides around the island to watch the sunset and then back to the deck at the end of the day! Heather was so easy to communicate with and the house is beautiful! Highly recommend!

Host thinks of everything!!! Beautiful house with a little bit of everything.

We came in to a clean house with a welcome bottle of wine. Want to fish, kayak, play games this house is stocked ready for anything. Romantic couple,family witb kids or even just fishing fun your ready when you stay here. Quiet and beautiful sunshine. Lots of boat traffic to watch.

Wonderful vacation

Dauphin Island has our hearts. We loved the island and absolutely loved the house. Beautiful views, plenty of room, comfortable beds and bedding. House has everything you need for a fabulous vacation. Washer and dryer, well stocked kitchen, beach supplies, fishing gear, this place has the works. Heather was a delight and we will absolutely be visiting again.

Kiddo Friendly Getaway
