Sierra Mountain's Cabin, près du lac Pinecrest et du domaine skiable de Dodge Ridge

Nos trois chambres spacieuses et lumineuses, ainsi que nos deux cabines de bain, sont situées dans une impasse, dans un quartier très calme et paisible, dans les magnifiques montagnes de la Sierra Nevada, à seulement 9 km du pittoresque lac Pinecrest et à 14 km du domaine skiable de Dodge Ridge.

L'espace de vie de la cabine est sur trois niveaux.
Au premier étage se trouve un garage pour deux voitures, qui est équipé d’un chargeur Level 2 EV (véhicule électrique) avec une prise J1772 (type le plus courant) et d’un escalier intérieur menant au deuxième étage.
Le deuxième étage est l'étage principal. Vous y trouverez une cuisine, un coin repas et un salon confortable. Un petit balcon juste à côté de la salle à manger offre un endroit calme pour votre café en plein air le matin. Les deux chambres avec lits king-size et queen-size se trouvent également à cet étage et partagent une salle de bain complète.
Il y a des escaliers intérieurs menant du salon au troisième étage avec une suite parentale. Nous avons décidé de mettre ici au lieu d'un grand lit, 5 lits jumeaux, afin que le groupe avec enfants puisse garder les enfants au même endroit. Le petit balcon de cette pièce offre une vue sur la grande cour latérale de la propriété.
Dehors, vous trouverez une belle et grande terrasse pour profiter et une grande cour presque plate.

Situé au milieu de l'énorme forêt domaniale de Stanislaus, de nombreuses aventures vous attendent, comme le magnifique lac Pinecrest avec ses belles plages de sable et son port de plaisance, le domaine skiable de Dodge Ridge, la rivière Stanislaus, qui vous conduira sur la route 108 jusqu'au col de Sonora. Une variété de sports et d'activités récréatives pour les adultes et les enfants se trouvent à proximité.

Juste un court trajet en voiture vers le pays de l'or offre beaucoup à faire, y compris Black Oak Casino, Twain Harte Golf Course, Long Barn Patinoire, Promenades à cheval et à vélo sur les sentiers de montagne.

Clean and comfortable, in a cute neighborhood with ski town vibes. Kid friendly. Beds are comfy. The generator allowed us to stay during a power outage (it wasn’t even noticeable). Pinecrest Lake is a quick drive and beautiful, but we preferred sledding right next to the house with our toddler and preschooler. Not in a town but Mia’s restaurant is really good and super close.

House was cozy & functional. Love the set up and that the master bedroom has been turned into the “kids” room. Hosts were VERY responsive when I had questions. We enjoyed snow and had a great time! We would definitely stay here again.

We loved our stay at this cabin! It was so comfortable, very clean and in a great, private, beautiful location. It had everything we needed for a fun time. Communication with the owner was fantastic! We definitely hope to stay here again. We were sad to leave.

Lovely comfortable stay in the snow

We came from the bay area to snowboard at dodge ridge. This house had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. It snowed our last morning and our boys enjoys playing outside the house. The drive to dodge ridge was easy and smooth as well!

Power went out, but we still had the fireplace and the stove. Nice easy drive to Dodge Ridge. :0) They have a generator, but we didn’t use it.

Excellent place

We had the best home to stay at during our snowboarding and sledding trip. The entry way was cleared of snow and ice making walking on the driveway and stairs easy. The home was clean with excellent wifi and heating. My kids loved the ping pong table. There were ample rooms and the kitchen was stocked with appropriate appliances. We'll definitely stay here again.

Perfect for families to ski at Dodge Ridge

This was a great place for our two families to stay for a ski weekend at Dodge Ridge! The four kids had a blast with their sleepover in their own room. Location was a quick 20 minute drive to Dodge Ridge. Gas station is only a couple minutes away which was great to grab some milk. Place was clean and the process to rent, check in and out was seamless. Home also has a charger for one family’s electric car. We would like to come back again!

nice and quiet

enjoyed the home. everything was clean and easy to use. there was a little confusion about the trash and we had a bear incident with the garbage but according to the neighbor its a local problem...no reflection on the property. Appliances were new!

Perfect snow getaway

We booked this cabin specifically because of the tagline "Fast Wi-Fi," and we were pleasantly surprised how awesome the wifi was, PLUS everything else! I had to work remotely, so the wifi was a must. We were able to visit Pinecrest Lake, Strawberry and Leland Snow Park. While we were there, we fount we needed an urgent brake job on our truck. Svetla was super easy to reach, and we were lucky to be able to extend our stay. The house was extremely clean, well-maintained and nicely updated. We would stay again any time!

Great place and hosts

The property overall was in nice shape -- comfortable mattresses, well-equipped kitchen (including espresso maker), and overall in good shape. Good amount of room around the house for the kids to play in the snow, and a nice, fairly large table for playing board games. Having access to the garage was great, especially given the amount of snow we got. Very comfortable for a group of 4. Could easily do 6 people and be very comfortable. Could also do 8 depending on the ages (3 bedrooms wouldn't be ideal for 8 adults). Communication with the hosts was great. They replied quickly to questions. They also let us check us know that checking out late wouldn't be a problem if we had to wait for the snow plows.

Comfortable, relaxing getaway

My husband and I, our two teenage boys and two of their friends stayed two nights for a short ski trip. The upstairs bedroom with 4 twin beds and attached bathroom was perfect for all the boys. The house is modern and had just about everything we needed. The boys had a great time playing in the snow outside when not skiing/snowboarding. The house is spacious and comfortable and we all had a memorable time. Home instructions were very detailed, and homeowner responded quickly when I reached out because I missed the original notice. I thought Dodge Ridge was only 10 min from the property, but it is 20 min, which is why I gave 4 stars for location. Otherwise, this is a 5-star stay across the board :)

Dodge Ridge boarding weekend!

Half our group couldn’t join us as intended but our family of four enjoyed the house and the long weekend. It’s an easy drive to Dodge Ridge from the house and the house was comfortable. The fireplace was warm and inviting. Our only comment to the owners would be that there was a lack of a frying pan (lots of large pots and pans so we made do) and the can opener did not work very well. Nothing too serious. We will definitely return! :)

Being a silicon valley high-tech employee and a mom of three, it has been increasingly important for me to find a place to relax and recharge. We found it in this serene mountain home.
This is our personal weekend cabin and we are sure you will enjoy it as much as we do.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

Our cabin is in Clod Springs, just miles away from Dodge Ridge Ski Area and the beautiful Pinecrest lake. This is the closest to the silicon valley ski slope.
The cabin is at an elevation of 5600 feet. The road to it (hwy 108) is great, well maintained, and has very few wide turns.
The serene Pinecrest lake (6 miles further on hwy 108) is a must-go vacation spot for the summer.
