Perfect amount of space for a weekend getaway in Traverse City. Lots to do on site and also very close to downtown. Would recommend to friends and family.
Its the perfect place to go for a city focused trip. Being within 10 minutes of my favorite winery on old misson and everything else almost a walk away was exactly what i was looking for. I will consider staying here the next time. Views were beautiful
Overall we had a great time! The location is excellent and our host Carrie responded quickly and was super easy to communicate with. We loved the history of the building including the restaurants and shopping on-site. We would definitely recommend this experience. The only reason I gave accuracy of description a 4 is that we assumed the patio was attached to the unit. Also, dining table is really a dining bar which we had to use to store our food as it's a very small kitchenette. The couches are quite low so eating a meal in the living room isn't really comfortable. Taking a tour of the buildings and grounds is highly recommended... but, beware of the last stop as you enter the steam tunnel. The brick paved ground is not flat, a painful ankle sprain was the result of that lesson. Otherwise, our guide Joe was very knowledgeable and we left with a great appreciation of the history of this place.
This listing was a great spot to be! We used Traverse City as our home base then took day trips to the Sleeping Bear Dunes, Charlevoix, Petosky, Mackinac Island, and Leland. We enjoyed brunch at Red Spire, bagel bombs at the Pleasanton Bakery, coffee at Higher Grounds & Cuppa Joe. Although we didn't dine during lunch or dinner at the Village, I'm sure it would've been spectacular!
We enjoyed our stay. Pros: It was very clean and nicely decorated. Cons: very low water pressure in shower and we had to wash and dry our own dishes. No dishwasher. No kitchen towel. The mattress was also very hard, which is great if you like that
Condo is very nice and comfortable! Check-in is seamless. Many extra amenities you donât usually see. Pullman kitchen stocked fairly well but eating area seats not very comfortable and the creamers for the coffee were bad and not usable. The area is beautiful but very crowded and parking is almost nonexistent during the day. Once the shops close it is a bit better. Pricy but mostly very enjoyable!
Had a great time here. Close to everything. Always wanted to spend a night here and so glad we had the chance. Everything was exactly as advertised. Would not hesitate to stay again. Thank you for the new memories!
We loved this stay! Our first time staying in this area and this place was perfect for my husband and I. It was clean, beautiful, and Carrie was very quick to respond when needed and very detailed in her check in and check out process. We look forward to staying here again!
Native Michigander. Current SAHM to a little boy. My husband and I love to travel. Our latest adventure was to Ireland. We have lived in many different places but Traverse City has been our favorite place.
