We had a wonderful stay. Super easy check in and out. Plus they welcomed our dog Lira which was so nice! Enjoyed wondering the neighborhood streets into town. Lovely stay.

Can't beat the price for the location. Loved the island and Geaorge was a pleasure. Note there is a shared yard and laundry and no kotchen but for the price you can't beat it.

Nice small place to stay

My husband and small dog stayed here for 5 days and it was pleasant. You cannot beat the location, price and convenience for staying in Coronado.

The good: Excellent location, great yard, beautiful old Spanish style homeThe cons: It's on the ST and loud and the unit is connected to the house and because the house is old you hear movement (very loud creaking boards) and even conversation.

Great location and value

For what and where it is, this is a very good deal. Owner is very nice. Parking is good. In the summer it can get hot but there are fans. Nice small backyard area with bbq.

Loved My Stay

Sun filled days and well lit nights. Bonus points for having a chair for reading and a comfortable couch. Easy neighborhood to walk to everywhere on the island. Felt like home for twelve days.

Beautiful beach stay!

This VRBO was perfect and came exactly as listed. So much natural sunlight, comfy bed, and great location. We were able to walk to the beach as well as restaurants/shops. We did notice a trail of ants coming in from outside, and I do wish there was a space for dirty dishes/ a place to wash dishes. Other than those minor issues we were very happy! Would book again:)

Amazing location, great host, perfect California style property

I loved my stay at this lovely studio. The character of the home was perfect California style. I loved the shared courtyard and having the ability to do laundry occasionally. It was within walking distance to everything i needed including walks along the ocean front. Very safe neighborhood near the Navy base, beach, restaurants, movie theater and more. The bike was a bonus. The owner was always very responsive to my questions and requests.

Coronado Studio

Beautiful studio with garden patio area within walking distance of downtown and the beach. Loved the natural light and comfortable room. Older bathroom but had everything we needed. Kitchenette does not have a table for two, just a fridge, toaster and microwave, but there is seating for 6 in the backyard.

Great stay!

The apartment was very nice and cozy. George and Signe were great and very welcoming. The only downside is that the kitchenette is very small and if you are going to cook you have to use the BBQ that is provided. Dishes have to be done in the bathroom sink which is also a bit challenging. I had a great stay though, the apartment is comfortable and the courtyard right outside the private entrance is beautiful. I would definitely come back again!

Coronado February

My stay in the garden room at George’s home was great . The location is perfect and Coronado a safe place with ideal weather, a beautiful beach, and the awesome Hotel Del Coronado. The space is one room and a bathroom with a shower . There’s a microwave and a mini fridge, so no cooking per se ,although I made oatmeal and there are so many little restaurants and also a great little grocery (Bayside)that has healthy deli food . The Patio area outside the French doors is lovely, and there are a couple of bikes to use. The only slight drawback is that since you are part of the main house, you can hear noise as you would in a duplex ,like the stairs .Of course it’s also near the Naval base ,so there are jets and helicopters- but that’s all of the island and much of San Diego.The room is quite private though and the other VRBO renters all friendly.George is just a great guy , so kind and he wants to make sure you have a nice stay . He is there whenever you need anything at all .Best person I’ve rented from in many different locations !

Ruhiges, Schönes Zimmer im Anbau des Haupthauses

Die Unterkunft liegt in einem ruhigen Einfamilienhausquartier, viel GrĂŒn und nahe am Strand und der Hauptstrasse. Gut erreichbar mit dem Auto oder Velo. Man kann im schönen Garten sitzen, auch ein Grill ist vorhanden.

Beautiful area

George was very friendly and helpful. The property was in a great location and pictures were very accurate. The studio had a lot of charm. Some reviews complained of the construction going on in the yard, but it wasn't a constant presence.
