The Villa is very well equipped and very good for a family. Saint Jeanette is absolutely stunning and it was easy to get the 54 bus down to Nice. Just plan ahead for food, there are grocery stores in the area and restaurants in Saint Jeannet and pay attention to when they are open.

Really enjoyed our stay. Stunning location with fantastic views.Really enjoyed the secluded location but easy to access coast and local village. Thanks to our hosts Alex and Ed who were really helpful with everything.

Lovely outdoor spaces in particular, including a good sized pool, and the main living room also very comfortable. Great views from the terraces. Lots of things to do around - walking, art, food, wine… lovely small towns. Very helpful and responsive hosts in Alex and Ed.It was a special holiday for us and we had a wonderful time.A slightly hairy drive up which took us by surprise but we got used to it..!

Spacious and comfortable house with an excellent outdoor pool. The village of Saint-Jeannet is a true gem, we felt at home instantly. Alex and Ed were excellent hosts. We want to come back next year too!

Great villa in the mountains

We had a fantastic time. The villa and surrounding countryside are beautiful. It is only half an hour away from the airport and the sea, but it feels tranquil and remote, with stunning views. The hosts were welcoming and friendly, and easily available if needed. Thanks for a lovely stay.

Lovely stay in the pitoresque village of St Jeannet

Perfect villa for a family with kids. Nice pool and pool house perfect for evening barbecues. Walking distance to the lovely village to buy the morning croissants and bread. Alex and Ed are the perfect hosts, looking after the house and its guests.

The house is located with a beautifull view to mountains, valley and the ocean. We enjoyed it very much. The pool and the pool house/outdoor dining area was nice - we spent many hours there. We also enjoyed the hiking trails and walking to Saint-Jeanett - a very nice old city.We can strongly recommend this house. Alex and Ed stayed close by and were always very helpfull - thanks a lot.

We had a great stay at the lovely Picadda. The house is nice and the pool and the outside areas were superb. We were met by Alex and Ed, who during our stay were most helpfull, kind and full of good ideas as what to see and how to get there. There are many good walking routes in the area and both St. Jainet and nearby Vence are nice cities.Make sure to rent a car with automatic gear and not too big, since many of the roads are small and narrow.

Lovely countryside house

We spent 10 days in a truly charming country house in St. Jeannet. The house itself is beautiful, and the view of the Baou de St. Jeannet from the pool is simply breathtaking. There are plenty of worthwhile places to visit nearby, but the house is so spacious and inviting that you’ll enjoy spending time there as well.Alex and Ed are fantastic hosts — attentive, quick to help with anything, and always happy to have a friendly chat. We highly recommend staying here!

Fantastic break

The property is a gem, in a beautiful quiet spot, with excellent walks and rides on the doorstep, and the charming village of St Jeannet 10 minutes by foot (with a great boulangerie and boucherie), it is perfect for a relaxed getaway. The pool and barbeque is particularly excellent. Alex and Ed were brilliant hosts, very communicative and accommodating. It was all wonderful.

Great

We had a lovely stay at La Piccada. We used the grill everyday and watched the movies in the night. House is beautiful and traditional. Food delivery from foodstores with uber eats was possible and great, we used this service almost everyday since we didnt have a car. Beautiful and quiet, everything as we expected! Would visit again. Perfect Cycling Week close to Nice

We had a perfect stay at the villa in Saint-Jeannet. Alex & Ed were lovely hosts throughout the week and helped us every time we needed it. We came as a group of friends to go roadcycling around Nice. It‘s a perfect starting point for it and you have a lot of empty roads right around the corner. Ed knows the area very well and gave us a few insights where we should go. And they were all spot on! Thanks a lot. There is a garage as well where we stored all the bikes and even put up a little workshop. The house is super cozy and has a lot of charm. We felt very welcomed.

Everything is just right here

First, the communication with Alex was good, she was very patient and flexible ;) ( we decided very late) Then the place, it is beautiful and with great view! Everything here is just right and cozy. The pool is large and deep (rare in France) and filled with fresh water from the mountains. The surroundings offer enough for weeks. Bakery, and some nice restaurants in the small village St. Jeannet and in close distance of lots of other choices. It is 2 hairpin curves to the house, and some roads around can be small / mountainous, but no problems even with a large SUV. We recommend this place!

Cozy Haven with Panoramic Views

If you are looking for a beautiful place to rest and ezplore in a quiet, beautiful hamlet about 30 minutes outside of Nice, this is where you should stay. Our family of five (kids ages 20, 18, and 16) spent our days meandering the village of Saint Jeannet, the property, the neighboring villages, and the beaches of Nice. We took daily jaunts down to Menton, Antibes, and of course Nice. The house was perfectly located for this. And when we needed to unwind, the back porch, the pool, and the perfect lounge chairs were waiting for us. Details we so appreciated included a well-appointed kitchen, the availability of a washer and dryer, the surprise of a second restroom, and good, restorative sleep in the beds. Most of all, we treasured meeting Alex and Ed and receiving their carefully curated, thoughtful tips and recommendations for the week. Our family of travelers loved this Vrbo and you will too!

Our stay in La Piccada

What a Gem! We have just returned from our week in St Jeannet in the villa La Piccada. The location is wonderful with views across the valley to the sea, taking in the small hilltop villages. The villa is comfortable, clean and homely, enabling you to relax in its spacious sitting room as soon as you arrive. The pool area has covered eating in the "Pool House", with a BBQ which we enjoyed. Good walks but hilly and so you need a reasonable fitness. A walk to the village and back with fresh bread and croissants can be made in 30 mins. The village is traditional and charming, with the rock, the Baou, providing a dramatic backdrop. The two recommended restaurants in the village are good but with limited menus and there are very many other places to eat that can be reached by car. Ed and Alex are on hand, but not intrusive and make you very welcome. We would come back.

La belle maison sous le Baou

Une maison particulièrement agréable à vivre. Nous étions 8 sans se sentir les uns sur les autres grâce à l’agencement de la propriété, très bonne piscine, terrasses, lieu couvert pour déjeuner dehors.Le site est incroyable, au pied du Baou de St Genet. Cet immense rocher surplombe la maison. La vue est magnifique et le village de St jeannet beau et agréable. Il s’agit de l’une de nos toutes meilleures maisons louées pour des vacances. Quant à Alexandra et Edward ils sont tout simplement charmants et très attentifs au moindre sujet. Une maison qui nous fait oublier totalement l’agitation du bord de mer qui n’est pourtant qu’à 30/40 minutes. Une réussite parfaite.

Maison de famille par excellence

Maison idéale pour passer des vacances en famille. Calme et reposante, cette maispn offre tout ce qu'il faut pour se ressourcer. Les hôtes sont tres accueillant et l emplacement est idéal pour ne pas avoir la foule de la côte d Azur.

Tres beau séjour, accueil parfait

Tres bon accueil, paysages incroyables, maison tres confortable. Le seul challenge est de parvenir jusqu'à la maison en voiture sans se retrouve face à une autre voiture dans un tournant... Merci à Alex et Ed pour leur accueil si charmant !
