Great stay with a big group of friends

House was nice and host was very helpful. The communal space was perfect for a big group of friends. We had a great time ! Enough space for 3 cars. Felt safe with gate and alarm system, as well as security regularly passing the house.

Stunning, spacious and comfortable

This house was way better in person than in the photos. Absolutely loved it! The whole house was very stylishly decorated and all the beds super comfortable. There were 10 of us staying and at times we had more family visiting us and at no point did we feel overcrowded . The upstairs kitchen, dining room, family room with the spectacular view was so lovely to entertain in and just relax in. Appreciated having a housekeeper 3 times a week so we could have a real vacation from cleaning. We hope this beautiful home will be available for us to rent when we are back in Hout Bay..

We didn’t want to leave! What a beautiful home - we were 2 families of 5 and it was perfect for us. Enough bedroom space for all feel comfy and the communal living spaces were perfect. A lot of thought has gone into ensuring that everything that is needed for the stay, is available - we used the pool during the day and the fire when it got chilly in the evenings. Ishmael was fabulous - a huge help, very quick to respond to questions and always with a smile. We felt safe and welcome. Thank you!!

Moderne villa met alle comfort en een schitterend uitzicht.

De villa voldeed aan onze verwachtingen: schoon, ruim, met smaak ingericht, compleet uitgeruste keuken, ruime slaapkamers met goede bedden en moderne badkamers. Vanaf de verschillende terrassen had je een prachtig uitzicht op de baai of de bergen. De locatie is ideaal, snel in Kaapstad en een ideale uitvalsbasis voor dagtochten. Luxe en gewone supermarkt alsook vele leuke restaurantjes allen op een korte afstand van de villa. Het ruime terras aan het zwembad met buitenkeuken en een handige keukenlift waren ideaal voor een gezellige braai. De house keeping was zeer behulpzaam en de tuin en het zwembad werden elke dag goed verzorgd. Beddengoed en handdoeken werden regelmatig verschoond. Het enige minpunt was het tuinmeubilair. Dat was niet in voldoende mate aanwezig en zeker aan vernieuwing toe: 4 ligbedjes voor 6 personen, waarvan nog 1 stuk en 2 stoelen waarvan 1 met een gevaarlijke nagel door de rugleuning.

The overall view in the house is amazing, the garden, the pool and the terraces are beautiful. Hout Bay is a perfect town to stay. We would like to come back soon !!

Ein wunderbares Haus

Am Ende unserer Rundreise hatten wird das Haus für 5 Nächte gemietet. Wir waren total überrascht, wie schön und geräumig das Haus war. Ein toller Pool vervollständigte die Überraschung. Alles war vorhanden, was man evtl. auch für eigene Kochkünste nutzen kann. Wir haben auch den tollen Gasgrill ausgiebig genutzt. Die herrliche Aussicht über die Bucht von Hout Bay war zu jeder Tageszeit ein Genuss. Diese Unterkunft ist jedem zu empfehlen.

Living the Millionaires Life

Absolutely fabulous villa with a real wow factor. Easy communications from start to finish. Our welcome was warm and very professional. The villa itself is amazing and very safe. Electronic gate and garage door is very convenient and operated remotely. The Villa is very modern with every possible mod con including coffee maker, central music system playing music in ever room (volume controls in each room), Dumb Waiter to carry the shopping onto first floor kitchen, Rain shower, fantastic BBQ area, pool etc etc. Everything was spotless and in perfect condition. The gardens are gorgeous and a real credit to the gardener, (sorry forgotten his name). The pool was the only disappointment as it stated heated but turned out that there was a problem which was to be fixed. We were lucky with the warm weather so a cold pool was quite welcome! Couldn't recommend Hout Bay Villa enough, so quiet but yet very convenient to Cape Town, Camps Bay, The Cape etc. We also enjoyed Hout Bay with the beautiful bay, harbour, bars and shops. God willing we hope to stay again. thank you Alex and Cheryl.
