Log Cabin au coeur des Adirondacks qui a tout

Hébergement 4 saisons serein. Situé entre la rivière Ausable et Jay Mountain, à 5 miles de Whiteface Mtn, High Peaks et à 20 minutes de Lake Placid. La cabane est assis sur 7 hectares du parc Adirondack et la montagne Upper Jay. Un sentier privé en haut de la montagne vous amène à une vue imprenable sur un étang. La tranquillité et la beauté de la nature tout autour de vous.
Le White Moose Cabin dispose d'une cuisine entièrement équipée et d'un coin repas informel. Grande cheminée en pierre dans le salon, TV, Internet sans fil est disponible dans toute la cabine et les environs. Le premier étage se compose d'une salle de bain complète avec douche et baignoire, ainsi que de deux chambres, dont des lits queen-size. Le deuxième étage comprend deux chambres, des lits queen-size, une demi-baignoire, une cheminée et de superbes vues sur la montagne et le ciel. Au total, 9 personnes peuvent dormir dans la cabine.
Le porche de l'écran offre une grande détente tout en profitant de la vue sur la montagne, écoutez le murmure des feuilles d'arbre et les chants des oiseaux. Un barbecue dans la cour et les chaises autour du foyer sont l'endroit idéal pour profiter du ciel clair des Adirondacks.
La cabine accepte les animaux de compagnie; NE PAS FUMER.
The White Moose possède également une salle de jeux équipée de fléchettes, table de ping-pong, table de hokey, baby-foot et de nombreux jeux de réflexion.
Les pistes de ski de classe mondiale à Whiteface Mountain sont à seulement huit kilomètres. Le village olympique de Lake Placid est à environ vingt minutes de trajet. Les sentiers de randonnée de High Peaks sont à moins d'une demi-heure de la cabine. La cabane White Moose est située sur la rivière AuSable - un endroit parfait pour la pêche à la truite. Magasin de pêche à la mouche dans les 10 minutes en voiture; La ferme locale avec du yaourt fait maison, des steaks, des œufs et du lait aide à acquérir une expérience complète dans les Adirondacks.

It was a nice place to stay, the area is beautiful. Nice resturant right down the road. Numerous hiking trails in the area. Some plugs are split between on/off at the wall vs at the equipment. Beds vary in hardness/softness. AC temperature control works. Two external doors, access through game room is narrow, use to open other external door to living room.

Cozy cabin tucked off the road

This was a cute cabin tucked off the road. It was large enough for 4 adults and 2 teens…even on a rainy day!

A great place to spend a weekend!

A warm and inviting home right near the High Peaks in the Adirondacks. It's a great place to spend a weekend, with plenty of room for friends or family. Watch the stars as you sit around the fire pit!

Upper Jay Cabin

We loved the location and the views of this property. Close to skiing and lots of local places to eat. A little quirky layout in that you have to pass through bedroom no. 3 to get to bedroom no. 4 but other than that it was fine.

Fabulous House

The house had a great open floor plan in the main area with a nice fireplace. The game room in the house is great for kids. It was conveniently located to Lake Placid and Whiteface. The hosts were very welcoming and responsive.

Great Stay!

Great proprety, well equipped, game room was a success with the kids. Gas fireplace to relax after a day of skiing. BBQ was also useful to make diner. Close to Whiteface mountain. Host were quick to respond to inquiries. Will definitely book again!

Upper Jay chalet

The chalet was exactly what my family needed. Matt was very accommodating regarding our guest count. The walking trails and access to the river were amazing. The house was very cozy, spacious and plenty of room. The screened in porch was perfect. Thank you Matt!

Great place for ski/family weekend

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin. It was a great location, within close proximity to Whiteface Mtn and the village of Lake Placid. The kids really enjoyed hiking in the woods, walking down by the river, and investigating the beaver dam. We were able to make a fire and enjoy the beautiful Adirondack scenery. Spacious and Charming House

We enjoyed our Thanksgiving stay at the house. We traveled with another family and really enjoyed the game room and the property, which our boys loved exploring. The house was plenty big for all of us, and very clean. The owners were very easy to reach whenever we had a question. We also enjoyed the proximity to Whiteface and great hiking trails. Would definitely recommend!

Wonderful privacy

We had a great stay in this house, and such a bonus that the dogs were welcome. We especially enjoyed the screened porch and private back yard. There is an orchard between the road and the house, so the privacy and quiet at night were nice. The owner was very helpful and always responded to questions immediately. Will definitely rent again.

Ski trip with family and friends

Perfect place for a ski trip with family and friends. The game room was great for the kids and the property was very close to Whiteface we’re we skied. The grilling area outside was sheltered and covered so grilling during a snowstorm was no problem! The driveway was also plowed several times, making it stress free to get to the slopes on a powder day. Great trip. Big enough for two families of 4 to spend a week together comfortably!

Relaxing 2024 New Years Weekend

Our family of 5, plus 1 Goldendoodle enjoyed both the relaxing ambiance of the cabin and it's location in the beautiful High Peaks area of the Adirondack Mountains. We all enjoyed several of the nearby dining establishments and ringing in the New Year at New Vida Preserve. Whiteface skiing and awesome winter hiking are close by to enjoy as well as Lake Placid and Saranac Lake. Matt was a great host and we all hope to make a return visit.

Cozy place to rest your feet

We spent a lot of our trip out on the trails, but it sure was great to come back to a cozy home to warm up and relax. There was plenty of room for my husband and I, our two kids, dogs, and the extended family who stayed with us. Plenty of space to be together and space to be apart when you wanted privacy. Hopeful that we can return to the same spot next year!

Quiet area, close to Whiteface

Easy to find off 9N, flat driveway, cleared of snow. we enjoyed playing ping pong and board game and watching TV one night. Bathroom is spacious with nice stall shower. Towels on beds decorated in shape of a bear...cute touch. Large dining table, and good amount of plates, flatware, glasses

Great location, charming house

The location was absolutely perfect. Only 15 minutes from Lake Placid. The owner called to check in with us upon our arrival to ensure everything was ok. That was appreciated. The game room could stand to be updated and was not cleaned but the overall condition of everything else was good. A great place to stay for a long weekend.

Family weekend

The house exceeded our expectations. The game room was a wonderful addition all the children spent most of their time when we were in the house in the game room. Matt was wonderful and communicated with us when we had any questions. We are looking forward to booking this again next year

Summer Stay

The screened in porch was perfect. Plenty of space etc. I did not realize someone would be staying in garage/apartment less than 20 feet from the property I rented. Everything else was great.

Nice cabin with game room for kids

The cabin was clean and updated, super shady/low light. My kids (age 7 and 4) loved the game room which was great since it rained a lot. Matt the owner stopped by for a chat (super nice guy) and his son lives above the garage. I’d recommend this place in the winter for skiing Whiteface. Thanks!
