This is a stunning 1st floor apartment in a peaceful village which has the 'wow' factor. Enjoy uninterrupted views over the beautiful Dundrum bay and the Mountains of Mourne - classified as an 'area of outstanding natural beauty'. You would find it difficult to find a more spectacular view anywhere in Northern Ireland. The apartment is south-facing and is bright and sunny all day long. It has a large spacious open plan kitchen, living and dining area and balcony. The superb floor to ceiling corner windows frame the amazing view while you cook, eat or relax! The apartment has wifi and all modern conveniences.

The master bedroom is ensuite with a king size bed and views of the bay (fabulous for enjoying the sunrise), the second has a double bed and the third two single beds. We can accommodate 6 guests in total. We can also provide a travel cot and high chair.

The apartment has solid wood floors, original artwork, high quality beds and furniture and contemporary furnishings - all guaranteed to ensure you have a comfortable stay - but of course the view steals the show! - ever changing throughout the day as the tide ebbs and flows in and out of the bay!

***Please kindly note that the gas fire in our apartment is not in operation***

Things to do: Whether you are looking for a relaxing get away from it all holiday or an adventure filled holiday, our apartment offers you a gateway to both. Dundrum offers breathtaking views, historical sites and nature walks, In nearby Newcastle you can enjoy a wide range of outdoor activities including golf, hiking, cycling, fishing, mountain climbing, canoeing etc. Newcastle has a world class golf course (Down Royal), which recently hosted the Walker Cup. The stunning Slieve Donard Hotel has a luxury spa, perfect for a little pampering. Castlewellan has a beautiful castle, lake and gardens - perfect for walks. cycling and canoeing. Within a half day or full day's drive you can enjoy most of the tourist sites of Northern Ireland - Strangford Lough, Antrim Coast, Fermanagh lakes, the city of Belfast, historic towns of Downpatrick and Armagh and beautiful villages such as Hillsborough and Crawfordsburn.

Fantastic property

Everything in the flat was beautiful. So easy to relax and unwind and watch the ever changing view, which was stunning. The location is great with excellent restaurants nearby or a short drive away.

Fantastic flat with phenomenal bay view

Had a wonderful stay in Dundrum with Janet doing a fantastic job in making sure everything was perfect for us. There was a lot of attention to detail in this property which meant our children had a great time too. Will return here when back in the region.

Stunning Apartment overlooking the sea

Whether you just want to sit in the window, relax and admire the changing scenery as the tide and clouds pass by or whether you want to stay somewhere beautiful within 5mins walk of lovely restaurants and pubs and beautiful walks or whether you want to get in your car and explore the many delights this area has to offer, you really cannot do better than to stay in this luxurious apartment

A stunning property, ideal for a relaxing stay with all your home comforts.

Apartment is beautiful. We all had a great sleep each evening as the beds were very comfortable. Location is fantastic as it’s quiet but convenient to shops and restaurants. Views out over the bay are stunning and we have enjoyed listening to the wind blow as we relax in the sofa. We will definitely be back!

Short break with husband and daughter

The best rental place we have ever stayed in! Everything and more was provided and all top quality, definitely a home from home. Janet is an excellent host and couldn’t do enough for us the welcome gift was a lovely touch. The views are to die for and even with the not so good Irish weather we still managed to do so much. Our wonderful Bayview Apartment is owned by my husband and I. We have 2 children aged 13 and 10 years. My husband is an artist and I am self-employed. I manage this apartment and our other rental properties in Greyabbey and the South of France. I also work freelance as a management consultant within the voluntary sector. We live in Belfast. Our other holiday rental propertiies are: 'Rose Cottage' and 'Lilac Tree Cottage', Greyabbey, Northern Ireland, listing no. 1130644. We pride ourselves in offering a 'home from home' experience for our guests by ensuring our properties are comfortable, stylish and well equipped.

Simply....the views are second to none! We have travelled the world and stayed in many wonderful places but the view of the mountains and the bay at Dundrum captured our heart. We plan to retire there and can't imagine ourselves ever parting with it! It has been our pleasure to share it with guests from all around the world and many return each year, sometimes twice or three times a year to enjoy it! I think it has captured their heart also!

The apartment is one of only three properties at The Quay which have floor to ceiling corner windows taking in both the views of the Bay and the Mountains. We may be bias but we believe we chose the best spot! It is bright and spacious and as soon as you walk in through the doors, we guarantee you will relax! It is totally calm and peaceful and it wouldn't be hard to lose track of time kicking back and enjoying the ever changing views. We take pride in how we present the apartment for our guests and the furnishings, artwork, bedlinen etc are all of good quality. Believe me, we want you to have a wonderful experience and to enjoy your stay at the apartment as much as we do!
