chalet bord de l'eau situé sur une plage privée de sable à l'extrémité sud du lac Huron. À quelques minutes de Sarnia et de Grand Bend, avec épicerie, pharmacie, LCBO, et tous vos besoins basiques à moins de 10 minutes en voiture.

BBQ au propane, foyer, meubles de jardin, et une table de pique-nique tout inclus, avec la grenouille étang, tennis / terrain de basket, des balançoires et aire de jeux à quelques pas.

Un endroit idéal pour les couples, les familles et ceux qui cherchent à sortir et l'expérience vraie vie de plage.

Salon comprend la télévision (avec câble HDMI) et électrique cheminée / chauffage contrôlé à distance. Lumineux et spacieux avec 5 grandes fenêtres.

Cuisine comprend: un grand réfrigérateur / congélateur, cuisinière et four, micro-ondes, cafetière, grille-pain, bouilloire, pots et casseroles, couverts, plats et / cups.

Pas de literie ou des serviettes inclus; s'il vous plaît apporter vos propres draps, oreillers, couettes et serviettes. Trois pièces salle de bain comprend lavabo, WC et douche.

Privé extérieur terrasse / patio comprend BBQ au propane (propane inclus sans frais), une table de pique-nique, et des chaises en plein air. De la plate-forme, il est à moins d'une minute de marche à travers 100 pieds de sable du lac.

Tennis & basket, grenouille étang, et swingset / grimpeur à proximité. Les clients devront fournir leurs propres raquettes et / ou ballons de basket tennis.

Le chalet est situé sur Hillsboro Beach, une plage privée pour les familles pas ouvert au pubis. Ville la plus proche est Forest, ON, avec une épicerie, pharmacie, LCBO / Beer Store, cinéma et restaurants / shopping.

Si vous souhaitez prendre une excursion d'une journée, nous sommes situés à environ 20 minutes en voiture de Sarnia, ON / Port Huron, États-Unis, et Grand Bend.

l'eau du lac est propre et chaude, peu profonde et de sable sur le rivage et peu à peu plus profond que vous sortez plus loin. Idéal pour les enfants / les tout-petits / non-nageurs dans la zone peu profonde.

Beautiful peaceful spot!

Really lovely place right by the lake. The owners were so helpful and welcoming and made sure everything was fine all week. Cottage comfortable and very well appointed. Great swims and walks among the trees. Highly recommended!

July 2022 Family Stay

We stayed for a week with two young kids (3 and 5) and two adults. The house was clean with all amenities as listed. The hosts were very easy to communicate with via email or in person. The beach was perfect for little ones! Shallow water and beautiful sun sets. The park was so close and the kids loved the frog pond. Such a great stay and would highly recommend!!

Wonderful location

We had a lovely week at this property. 2 adults and 3 kids (5,7 & 8). Small cottage but enough room for a cozy week away from a busy life. Right on the lake, with a very sandy beach and shallow water for the kids to swim and play safely. We will absolutely come again.

Nice beach, friendly people

Beach was amazing! Cottage is quaint. Recommend no more than 4 people (best for two people). Cottage is located behind the main cottage but the people in the main cottage are very nice and give you privacy. Water is very shallow... perfect for kids or non swimmers (great for lounging right in the water)!

nice location although not accurately described

This property is advertised as beachfront. While it is near the beach it is tucked in beside a much larger property and is not really beachfront, but is beside a another property that is beachfront. The property also states it has a fire pit. I had expected to have a fire pit on the property. There is a communal fire pit.....but not one to gather around beside the cabin. The bed I slept in was comfortable. The other bedroom had beds that were very uncomfortable. My guests left early because they were not willing to sleep on it another night. Given that it was 2000. approx. for the week, it would be nice is the furnishings are comfortable. The living room futon and chair are both old and uncomfortable. The owners were pleasant and location lovely, but the add misrepresents the property. I was disappointed to have spent to much money and received so little.

Hi Janet, We’re sorry to hear that your stay didn’t meet your expectations. We are always happy to answer any questions before booking and feel that the photos provided offer an accurate representation of the view from the deck/patio; which includes partial views of other nearby cottages and a clear view of the lake + beach in multiple directions. As you mentioned, there are indeed other structures on our 1.2 acre waterfront property and we don’t try to hide that :) While this does mean the fire pit is shared, it also means that you’re free to take advantage of the entire property, including a grassy park-like area with mature trees for lounging on hot days, a riverbank alongside the neighbouring creek, and a large sandy beach on the shores of Lake Huron. With regards to furnishings, we definitely do aim for a homey and cottagey feel. Each piece is unique and has it’s own bit of character, but this is the first time we’ve received feedback on comfort. The true test of any cottage furniture or bed is whether it’s perfect for sinking into after a day at the beach, so we appreciate your thoughts. While we’re disappointed that our listing wasn’t able to live up to your expectations, we encourage any potential future guests to reach out with questions ahead of time to ensure that our property is a great fit for you :)

Excellent beach vacation!!

Diane's cottage was perfect for us. Diane and her family are extremely friendly and hospitable. They were very easy to talk to and made you feel like home. They were available to answer any questions or concerns. The location is gorgeous, beach is right at the door step. It is private with access for only members of the community. It was great to be able to use the play area for my 16 month old toddler as well as just walk over to the beach and swim in the lake. There is a campfire area that was perfect to watch the beautiful sunset from as well as graze at the starts at night. The cottage was very clean and had all basic amenities like lawn chairs, loungers, bbq, picnic table and essentials in the kitchen. Diane's cottage is very well suited for families with small children. I would definitely recommend this place and I will be staying there again. Thanks Diane and family for making our vacation quite a memorable one.

Great family beach vacation!

We had a wonderful time at the Hennessy's beach cottage! Cute, clean, airy cottage was perfect for us and our two boys. The beautiful sandy beach is just outside the door which was great with two little ones running around...easy to grab the blanket and towels and head right down to the water. We enjoyed the swing set and slide, playing in the sand, walking down the sandy beach and skipping stones. BBQ grill was perfect for grilling up dinner. The nearby town is close for anything you need, and we were also just a 25 min drive or so from Grand Bend Beach, which had a great splash pad. The Hennessy's were wonderful; friendly, kind, just all-around excellent hosts. We really enjoyed are visit and hope to come back again in the future!

The cottage was very clean and accomadating.

Can't say enough great things about our stay. The Hennesy's were more than accommodating. The cottage was very clean and had everything we needed. If there was anything we needed they were there to help. We would definitely go back.. Miss Michael and Daphne already!!! Great host!!!
