La Ferme: All Season Maison

Bienvenue à la Ferme! La maison (circa 1944) a été restauré, et met en valeur tout le charme d'origine, avec tous les équipements modernes. La Ferme se trouve sur un acre, et est entouré de vergers de pêchers et de vignes. Il est situé à la périphérie de la vieille ville, Niagara-on-the-Lake. A une courte distance à tout cela! Théâtre, caves, les brasseries, les pistes cyclables et les parcs. Nous sommes une distance de marche du marché fermier du samedi, au Village, et mercredi soir suppermarket (Mai à Octobre). Venez découvrir la belle région de Niagara dans le confort d'une maison de vacances.

La Ferme est une ferme de pêche travaillant depuis de nombreuses années. Il est un étage et demi, offrant beaucoup d'espace de vie pour un séjour confortable, avec la famille élargie ou des amis. Il y a un salon (avec un lit gigogne), une salle à manger séparée, une cuisine complète avec un coin repas, trois chambres et deux salles de bains. Il y a trois chambres au deuxième étage, avec un lit queen, un lit double et deux lits jumeaux et une salle de bain avec baignoire, pour les bains. À l'étage principal, il y a une salle de bain trois pièces, avec douche, pour les douches. Il est meublé, avec tout ce dont vous avez besoin La cuisine est orientée plein sud, ensoleillé, et entièrement équipé pour la cuisson des repas. Faut-il un jour de pluie, il y a des DVD, des livres, des puzzles et des jeux de société. Nous offrons WiFi, et nos lecteurs blu-ray peut écouter vos émissions préférées. Nous sommes une location de chalet agréé.

This renovated farmouse looked like it would be "cozy" but is in fact very comfortable with lots of thoughtful updates and touches. New eat-in kitchen, large living room, new baths, nice sized bedrooms. Excellent location for Shaw Festival and wineries. A real find!

The house is in the country. It was quiet and comfortable. We appreciated how close it was to Downtown Niagara on the lake and only 25 minutes from the Falls.

A Wonderful Stay

My friends and I booked here for a night and it was the perfect home for us 6. We had plans to go out for dinner but upon arriving and seeing how beautiful the house was and the wall of movies we decided to stay in and cook and watch movies. I would definitely book here again when we come back.

Great place to get away!

Thank you very much for allowing us to stay in your beautiful farmhouse! We truly appreciated all the very thoughtful accommodations. Our son's eyes lit up when he saw all the toys, books, and puzzles as soon as we arrived! We will definitely try to stay here again on our next visit to Niagara.

We loved our 5 night stay at the Farmhouse! Was perfect for our group of four women attending a local marathon. We all had our own sleeping quarters. Very clean and had everything we need! Would have liked the upstairs to have a shower as it was tough using a single shower for four people. Very central. Will be recommending to friends!

Loved the Property

What a fantastic holiday we had at the Farmhouse. Our family consisted of 5 adults and our 16yr old granddaughter. The house was beautiful set alone and very peaceful overlooking the vineyards. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed, including a selection of sauces, maple syrup, hot choc tea, coffee. Brilliant for us travelling from UK and not being able to pack our car up with essentials. We had everything needed throughout the house including toiletries. Perfect location for shops, bars, restaurants. We walked to Niagara on the Lake several times and just a short drive to tbe outlet stores, Niagara Falls and border crossing. Although we hired a car, at times we used Ubers, they were very reasonable and reliable. We did get to meet Lara who was lovely and very helpful. Our flight home was late and Lara let us check out at our leisure. I would highly recommend The Farmhouse, a perfect base and a lovely home from home feeling. Thank you Don and Lara.

Family Weekend in Niagara on The Lake with Adult Children

We enjoyed staying at this wine country farmhouse during our visit to Niagara on the Lake. Our host Lara was in communication with us before our stay and left a bottle of local wine on the kitchen counter for our arrival. What a thoughtful touch! The kitchen was fully stocked for all our needs and the house was very clean. We cooked breakfast at the farmhouse each day and enjoyed eating dinner at local wineries. Our favourite was Terroir Restaurant and Wine Bar at Strewn Winery. We also enjoyed our visit to Wayne Gretzky Estates and shopping on Queen Street in Historic Old Town Niagara. Our family had fun gathering in the family room at night to play games and watch movies. There is a very large collection of movies to choose from. There were plenty of fresh towels and extra pillows in the closets. We also liked the fact that everything was a short drive from the farmhouse. Unfortunately it rained at times during our stay so we did not get to enjoy sitting outside on the deck. My only suggestion would be to put some treads on the outside wooden stairs leading up to the decks as they could be slippery at times when they were wet. Overall we had a great time together at this Niagara on the Lake Farmhouse!

Great vacation start to finish. Wonderful house, location, and owners!

We had a fantastic stay at the Farm House and Niagara on the Lake. From our first inquiries through the end of our stay, Lara was quick and thorough with communication-- answering all of our questions and anticipating solutions to all of our needs-- including setting up a cot for us before our arrival and adding an extra day to our stay. The Farm House was wonderful. Such a peaceful setting with a perfect blend of rustic farmhouse and modern vacation rental. Plenty of space, great kitchen, comfortable beds, -- every detail was thought through. Even though we didn't need them, there were dozens of DVDs - recent releases, popular TV shows, and classics-- for kids and adults, as well as games and toys for younger kids. We went back and forth trying to decide to stay in a hotel near the falls or at Niagara on the Lake and I can't believe we ever considered staying near the falls. Niagara on the Lake and the farmhouse are close enough (15-20 minutes) to hit the attractions at the falls and get away from the crowds by dinner time. Our highlights (other than Niagara Falls): On the way back to Niagara on the Lake - Niagara Glen Nature Center - beautiful hike down to the Niagara River (free)-- almost had the forest and river to ourselves. During the summer- less than a 5 minute walk from the Farm House - Wednesday night Suppermarket - almost 2 dozen food trucks, local wineries and breweries, and live music. So much fun and such an easy dinner where all of us (four adults and three children) could choose our own dinners, socialize with friendly people, listen to music, enjoy some wine and beer, and walk back to the house. This was a fantastic VRBO. Highest recommendation. Friendly and helpful owner. 20 minutes from Niagara falls-- but so worth it to have such a beautiful, private, and relaxing place to stay.

Family Time

Great place to gather with family inside and out. Quiet and spacious, great movie selection and short distance to town. Kitchen was well equipped for all meals and hosting a family brunch. Beds are firmer than we liked but overall an amazing vacation spot.

The Farmhouse far exceeded our expectations

Everything was perfect and exactly as described. It was spotlessly clean and the hosts had literally thought of everything to make our stay as comfortable as if we were in our own home. Beautifully decorated and furnished and the property itself is stunning. The gardens and views are breathtaking. Will definitely stay again when We are in Niagara on the Lake.

A quiet farmhouse in the heart of wine country

An unassuming property as you approach it, but upon entering the farmhouse, you're pleasantly surprised at the classic style with modern upgrades in this well-organized house. Minutes away from town and even walking distance to some wineries, we had a lovely weekend at the farmhouse.

Wonderful Farm House

The farm house was perfect for four people (1 couple & 2 widows). The location could not have been better for day trips all over Niagara-on-The-Lake. Lara, the owner, was very responsive & made many great suggestions. I would definitely rent this accommodation again. SP

Like a private boutique hotel...real special property

This is a real hidden gem. we were 3 generations traveling (age range 17-90). This farmhouse has the charm of a country inn but with all the comforts of a modern home. Updated kitchen, bathrooms were well appointed and stocked. Even with Air conditioning, cooling fans were additionally available throughout home. Very thoughtfully prepared for guests, extensive information binder, local pamphlet info, and clear instructions throughout home. EXTENSIVE movies, games and books were appreciated. Truly well positioned where the town meets the vinyards, beautiful setting, serene and quiet. For those with bikes or conditioned walkers, could easily walk into town for dinner, sightseeing and well within walking distance to couple wineries. Hosts were thoughtful and left a welcome gift for our family. Wish we could have stayed longer and hope to return!
