We had a wonderful stay at this lovely cottage in NOTL. It is even better than pictures can convey. The host has thought of everything and is deeply committed to her guests’ experience. It’s a hard place to leave but once you do you’ll find so much to explore in the quaint neighborhood and vibrant region.

The Flying Cloud is an idyllic escape from the fray. Diane has done much to make guests welcome, comfortable, and appreciated. The cottage is well appointed. Diane is always available. The location is convenient to the town and a short walk down to the park on the lake with benches and picnic tables. I think we’ve found our forever home away from home when coming to NOTL.

The property is on a lovely street just a very short walk to the lake. The area is quiet, peaceful and only a short drive to the main street. The beds are comfortable and the living room easy to relax in. Diane is a friendly and communicative host and available to answer any questions you may have.

Our second stay at Diane’s lovely cottage. Another beautiful experience! Even though we didn’t have ideal weather for our stay, the coziness of our surroundings more than made up for it.

The Flying Cloud is a wonderful place to stay, fully equipped kitchen, cozy living area with fireplace, comfortable bed and nice full bathroom with a tub big enough to soak in and that's just indoors. There is also lots of comfy outdoor seating as well. Diane is a very friendly and considerate host.

A very cute and well equipped home in a great neighborhood. We love the place. Diane is very helpful. Close to Lake Ontario and downtown NOTL. Very private and totally fenced in back yard. Comfortable beds! !

Winter Getaway

The cottage was warm, cozy and perfect! We enjoyed the fireplace and relaxing in the evenings with a glass of wine. It was very conveniently located for us to enjoy the area and visit many of the local wineries. We look forward to returning in the future!

Wonderful Weekend

The property was in close proximity to the village of Niagara on the Lake as well as easy to get to other areas. The cottage was perfect. Comfortable and clean and the hostess was fantastic in responding to any questions we had. We plan on staying there again when we get the chance.

Lovely cottage!

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Flying Cloud. The cottage is very comfortable, clean and cozy, and has a beautiful gas fireplace in the living room which kept the room warm and inviting. Diane, our host, was very helpful, she suggested places to eat and wineries to visit. We will certainly be returning for another visit!

Cozy cottage near Niagara on the Lake

Cozy, warm, rustic charm. Terrific location in the winter. Far from the maddening crowd but close to everything. Loved the long walks and stunning views of Lake Ontario. Highly recommend!
