Garden Cottage Sleeps 2 (nouveau)

Cette jolie maison mitoyenne Ă  une belle ferme du 17Ăšme siĂšcle a sa propre terrasse abritĂ©e et son vaste jardin informel avec des pommiers, de vieux murs de pierre et de jolis coins salons. Le salon confortable est dotĂ© de parquet et d'un poĂȘle Ă  bois. Il s'ouvre sur un coin repas dotĂ© de portes-fenĂȘtres donnant sur la terrasse. Des marches mĂšnent Ă  une cuisine bien exposĂ©e qui donne sur le jardin du propriĂ©taire. A l’étage se trouve une jolie chambre mansardĂ©e avec salle de bain privĂ©e.

Great for a quiet getaway

Garden Cottage was great. It was very secluded, but there was plenty to do in the surrounding area. In particular Clovelly, Northam Burrows and local beaches. The hosts were friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended.

Absolutely fantastic cottage and location perfect

From the get go everything was first class, communication with Kate was friendly and helpful. You can tell a lot of thought has gone into the property from soft furnishings to well equipped kitchen. The outdoor space was gorgeous with so much room and all to yourself. No hesitation in highly recommending anyone to visit 
make sure you utilise Kate’s green book for walks and more importantly her recommendations for places to eat.

Staying in dreamland

The cottage that we stayed in was everything that we expected and more. It was quaint, quirky, and inviting. It also had a beautiful large garden area of its own in which we sat and relaxed. The hosts, Kate and Jonathan, were the nicest people with great senses of humour, and they made us feel most welcome. We would certainly return to Garden Cottage if the opportunity ever arises.

A wonderful stay in this hidden idyll. Highly recommended

The property is a pretty cottage with a huge secure garden which is ideal for our Labrador. This is our second stay at Garden Cottage, as we love the freedom it allows us to explore, or simply sit in tje garden and watch / listen to the wildlife The cottage is well equipped with everything you could need, and rurally situated but only 10 minutes drive to Westward Ho! Kate and Jonathan are wonderful hosts, greeting us with a lovely cream tea and on hand with lots of local knowledge if you need it. We will return again.

We have really enjoyed the tranquil location of the cottage and Jonathan and julie where great host's, ive no sence of direction but they came out looking for us and weirdly we found one another. Garden beautiful i felt like i was in the movie bambi every morning. Cottage is very comfy you wont want for anythink

A gem of peace and tranquillity!

We enjoyed our stay at Garden Cottage tremendously! This idyllic place radiates peace and tranquillity! The garden is huge, well kept and in good weather offers many sunny spots to relax each time of day. The cottage itself is cozy, secluded and has everything you might need for your stay. The coastal walks and beaches close by are stunning. You can feel and see that Kate and Jonathan have put a lot of love in the cottage! We couldn’t imagine better hosts! They offered us a very warm welcome, dog included, and were very helpful, yet unobtrusive throughout the week. We are looking forward to coming back!

Das "Garden Cottage" ist ein wundervoller Ort zum Seele-baumeln-lassen und Entdecken der NordkĂŒste Devons.Ein gemĂŒtlich eingerichtetes Cottage mit allem, was man braucht und sehr gastfreundlichen Landlords lĂ€dt zum Verweilen ein. Der SouthWestCoastPass kann zu Fuß erreicht werden.Herrlich!

Gorgeous sunny cottage

This cottage is really lovely and has such a beautiful garden. My mum stayed here on her own and the owners made her feel so welcome. Me and my brother live locally and we spent a lot of time chilling at the cottage and in the garden. It’s perfect for social time. My mum would love to stay again - a gem in this area and really good value. Thanks again.

Wowsa, cottage was idilic, cosy, romantic and picturesque.. grounds were perfect for our dog to run around in. Kate & Jonathan were very accommodating.. local pub excellent, as were local ciliates and places of interest. Defo recommend

A Picture perfect Cottage with a Wonderful Garden and excellent hosts

We spent a week in this idyllic cottage with our 4.5 month old puppy. We were greeted with fresh flowers on the table and a cream tea from our lovely hosts Kate and Jonathan, who could not do enough for you. The Cottage was charming, beautifully presented and fully equipped with everything you could need. There was loads of living space so even with a puppy cage it still felt open and spacious. The garden is very big with multiple areas for play and enclosed so we could let our puppy play freely which was great and allowed us to relax in the garden with him. He especially enjoyed the multiple levels which included some apple trees to scrump around , lots of little gaps between levels that he could chase between, and the large lower lawn to play fetch across. Our hosts were extremely helpful, yet unobtrusive. They gave us really good advice on places to visit that were dog friendly. We will certainly be returning in the future.

Wonderful post lockdown stay

What a wonderful time we had here! Beautiful property with a lovely garden and really great feel to it. It’s off the beaten track enough to make you feel you’ve escaped but there’s easy access to the sea and the pub on foot with attractions a short drive away. Kate and Jonathan (and their dogs and chickens) were wonderful hosts. Would love to stay here again.

Good location for exploring the north Devon coast. Very secluded and quiet. Cottage cosy with everything you need. Owners very friendly but not intrusive.

Great experience from start to finish. Communication with the owners was good, easy check in. Greeted with a freshly made cream tea, and fresh flowers. Lovely place to stay, everything you could possibly need, along with being dog friendly, and the garden is to die for! Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay again.

Would stay again!

Location ideal for visiting North Devon. Appledore, Instow and Westward Ho only short drives away. Only a 10 minute walk to a lovely pub with lovely meals. The cottage it’s self was more than big enough for two of us and a dog. Felt extremely comfortable and relaxed staying there. The garden was beautiful and we spent a lot of time on the patio. Owners were very hospitable and we can’t thank them enough for letting us stay in their beautiful property. Would recommend to anyone.

Peaceful Hideaway

A lovely quite cottage with a larger than average living area. The garden is very large and private. Very handy if you are brining your dog, as very safe. In the country side with walks on your door step, and a short walk across fields to the local pub.

Weekend Break

We had a lovely weekend. The cottage is in a beautiful setting down a country lane on a farm. Kate and Jonathan were very friendly and really looked after us. It was like home from home and would fully recommend a stay. The cottage was extremely clean and comfortable with our own back garden and patio.

Pretty Cottage in Beautiful countryside

We had a lovely stay with Kate and Jonathan, who are welcoming and considerate hosts. They made special efforts to make it easy for us to bring our two lively dogs. The area around them is beautiful, with walks to the cliffs and across fields to the South West Coastal Path. The cottage is well appointed and has many attractive old features. It was cosy during a biblical thunderstorm too! The beaches nearby are amazing - mile upon mile of walks on the sand. We will return.

lovely cottage and garden, very well presented and all mod cons. The owners are nearby and available if needed. I have to say that this property is the best we have stayed in for many years. We will return.
