Bienvenue!
Dans le pittoresque village de pêcheurs de Jonesport America, se trouve l'une des seules plages de sable blanc du Downeast Maine, Sandy River Beach.

Du chalet Maine Rose, vous pouvez assister aux plus beaux levers de soleil sur l'un des points les plus orientaux des États-Unis; vous pouvez écouter le cri de la mouette et le cri de rire sur la plage. Vous pouvez également profiter du soleil d'été en fin d'après-midi en savourant votre cocktail pendant que vos orteils sont dans le sable et vous pouvez vous endormir le soir en écoutant le surf et en sentant le rythme de son cœur.

Le Maine Rose Cottage est une escapade en bord de mer de 2 chambres et 3/4 salles de bain, pour une escapade romantique ou une famille tranquille qui cherche la commodité d'être sur une plage de sable blanc rare et privée. Apportez vos kayaks et chaussures de randonnée pour vos aventures en plein air dans la nature. Ce n'est pas une maison de fête, mais plutôt un chalet pittoresque avec des attentes pittoresques.

Les équipements comprennent une cuisinière / four à gaz et un four, un réfrigérateur, un four micro-ondes, un grille-pain, une cafetière et des ventilateurs. La chambre principale a un lit queen size Select Number. La deuxième chambre a un lit queen size. Il y a aussi un matelas double gonflable. Dish TV et Wi-fi.

Mieux encore, il y a des chaises berçantes à lire pendant que vous regardez les vagues et les oiseaux. Il y a une petite terrasse extérieure avec une chaise Adirondack pour votre café du matin. Grill extérieur et pot de homard / palourdes. Table de pique-nique.

Les améliorations de 2019 comprennent un puits foré, une chambre principale rénovée, un nouveau toit et une nouvelle allée.

The Maine Rose is a lovely cottage, whimsically decorated, clean, comfortable, and supplied with everything you'd need for your stay. We enjoyed every minute we got to spend by the ocean, as well as our time exploring the area. Everything worked as expected, and our hosts were quick to respond to any communication. We would love to stay there again.

Beautiful Location

Lovely cottage, everything you need is there. We bought lobsters directly from the wharf, pizza was a quick drive, grocery store close by! And the BEACH is awesome! The owners have done a fantastic job keeping these cabins looking good.

Perfect get-away!

This was our 4th stay with Mark & Dawn, first with a new baby and his toddler big sister, and we will absolutely be returning. Perfect location for relaxing and spending beach cottage time with family, or heading out to Roque Island, Machias, Acadia, Jasper Beach,l and other adventures. Beautiful, private beach cottage

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Maine Rose beach cottage. Dawn and Mark are thoughtful hosts, welcoming and respectful of our privacy. The cottage is is immaculate, the beach fabulous and thee September weather was delightful. Highly recommend this cottage for a relaxing vacation.

Beautiful week in Maine

It was absolutely stunning. We had perfect weather. There were places to explore right on the beach and all over town. We loved every second of it. Waking up to the ocean every morning was so relaxing. 10/10 would recommend.

Another wonderful visit

Mark and Dawne are amazing hosts who truly think of everything. The location is perfect for couples and those with small children. Lots of room to run out their sillies on the beach, what feels like miles of low tide to explore. This was our 6th stay - we’ll absolutely be back. Thank you for another great visit!

Mark and Dawn Bechtold are recently retired and hail from the White Mountains of New Hampshire. Mark is an organizational psychologist and singer/songwriter. Dawn is an art educator/artist.
We are recently retired and have lived and worked abroad. We enjoy a quiet life with our interests in outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, gardening and farming. We enjoy our time on the beach with friends and good food.

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

This property is very special to our family. We are third generation owners of three eclectic cottages we have named The Maine Rose (for the larger main cottage), The Sweet Pea (middle cottage) and the third (little) cottage where we stay. The cottages were originally built around 1930 and were beautifully renovated in the 1960's. The Maine Rose was then gently used by family from RI for almost 50 years. My husband and I acted as care-takers of the property for a bit before we were able to purchase in 2011. The structures have maintained their integrity over the years as we continue to give them the love and care they deserve.
The cottages are in a quiet natural beach front setting, they are clean and comfortable and are the perfect escape for a restful, sun filled vacation.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

The Maine Rose and Sweet Pea each boast a cathedral ceiling, letting in air and light. The cottages have more 'space and flow' because of the higher ceilings. We provide bedding, including sheets for each bed and limited kitchen/bath linens. Just pack your bags and hit the road!
