Cette ancienne grange rénovée avec goût se trouve dans un hectare de terrain juste à l'extérieur d'un petit village. Une excellente base de tourisme pour les attractions de la côte et de la campagne. Tout au rez de chaussée.

Surface habitable: avec poêle à bois, TV TNT et lecteur DVD.

Convertie avec goût, meublée et ������quipée à un très bon niveau, cette ancienne grange (mitoyenne à la maison du propriétaire située sur un hectare) est située à la périphérie de ce charmant village situé à proximité du bourg historique d'Ilminster et à 15 km environ du chef-lieu de Taunton. Les magnifiques côtes est du Devon et du Dorset avec Lyme Regis, Seaton et Sidmouth sont facilement accessibles. Les attractions locales incluent Montacute House, Barrington Court (NT) et l'abbaye de Forde. Près de Cricket St Thomas Wildlife Park, Yeovil et de la plage de Lyme Regis. Une base de vacances idéale pour explorer cette région riche en histoire et légende. Pub et magasin ¼ mile.

We had a lovely week stay here! The house was well deorated and very clean with friendly & helpful owners. Perfect location for exploring both coasts. Thanks Sue, we'll definitely come again x

We had high expectations mainly due to the reviews but also due the fact that the owners had signed

We had high expectations mainly due to the reviews but also due the fact that the owners had signed up to the Covid-19 Safer Stays program. Thankfully we were not disappointed as everything was in order. The cottage was super clean with quality fixtures and fittings. It was warm and comfortable with a TV in lounge and bedroom. We met Sue twice and she was great, she even posted our camera battery and charger back to us, thanks again for that. You can park your car right by the cottage, the surface is gravel but good. There is a nice pub 5 mins walk and another really nice pub over in Broadway 20 mins walk, both pubs have outdoor seating and were operating a really good table service due to Covid. There is walking paths close by and the countryside is nice. We would like to return both in the summer as there is a big garden at the side and also in the winter so we could try out the log burner which looks great. Local amenities are really 2 pubs and a little village shop, but were good. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

The cottage was perfect for us.

The cottage was perfect for us. We arrived to find the fire already lit, which was a nice surprise (the weather was foul at the time!). We found the cottage spotlessly clean, very comfortable, and it had everything we needed for a relaxing break. The village includes a pub and a small post office/shop, and Illminster (just a few minutes' drive away) has more facilities including a supermarket. We enjoyed the surrounding area, including off-road biking on the nearby 'Stop Way Line' disused railway line, and trips to Charmouth and Lyme Regis. I highly recommend this cottage. Homely & comfortable - very clean and modern. The welcome pack was appreciated and the owner was very friendly and helpful. Excellent access to all the sites in Somerset. Both pubs in the village are worth a visit and the little shop is useful for essential supplies. We had a brilliant stay and would recommend to anybody.

What a fabulous place to stay - convenient for tons of great places in Somerset, Devon and Dorset. Beautiful gardens, a great-sized cottage, all spotlessly clean and nicely furnished. We were very comfy during our stay and my 5 month old has never slept so well! Thanks to the helpful and kind owners for their tips on where to go, and for a really great holiday.

We had the most wonderful holiday at Pottery Cottage with our 2 boys.

We had the most wonderful holiday at Pottery Cottage with our 2 boys. (Age 2 and 5) The cottage was such a lovely tranquil place. The boys particularly enjoyed playing in the the big garden next to the cottage and loved seeing the cats coming and going from the main house. Barry and sue couldn’t have been more accommodating. They were so lovely and even allowed us to borrow a parasol for the hottest day of the year for the beach. Places we found really nice to visit were Sherborne Castle, Lyme Regis and Charmouth beaches and the chippy in Ilminster was great too!! We would highly recommend this property as it was clean, homely and modern. Thank you so much Barry and Sue.....we hope to return at some point for sure!!

Another lovely stay at this first class cottage. In our previous review, we mentioned that a shelf in the bathroom would be useful. We arrived to find one installed. Thank you, Barry and Sue. There are plenty of places to visit in the area. We look forward to staying again.
