Beautiful appointment in a beautiful area great for walking and fabulous scenery. Quite a walk to shops and cafes if the weather is not good. Wonderful local people made us feel very welcome.

This is our second visit and we will definitely return again.

This is our second visit and we will definitely return again. It’s clear the owners take pride in this apartment and provide a high standard. The grounds are beautifully laid out and cared for, and the terrace area is a lovely place to relax when the sun is out. The welcome packs were much appreciated and came in very handy. Overall an excellent place to stay.

Really comfortable and clean apartment.

Really comfortable and clean apartment. Trees all around. Even spotted a deer from the bedroom window! Lovely walks nearby and the woods are all full of wild garlic. Great cafe in the nearby rspb. Peaceful surroundings.

The apartment was lovely, very clean and well-equipped overall.

The apartment was lovely, very clean and well-equipped overall. The area was quiet and the terrace was a really nice place to sit and enjoy the views. We really would recommend this place to anyone and thoroughly enjoyed it. Our only feedback was that the apartment was very warm (even though it was quite cold outside), even adjusting the thermostat didn't seem to turn off the underfloor heating in the main bathroom and it seemed to keep going back up throughout our stay.

A lovely apartment, ideally situated for visits to RSPB Leighton Moss which is why we chose it. Our second stay here. Our only niggle is that the apartment is too hot and you can not change heating settings. We had windows and doors open in October and seems such a waste! No complimentary jams this year and it still states these in visitor book so that was disappointing and milks provided were out of date. The actual apartment is lovely and we would book again.

Lovely comfortable apartment in beautiful setting.

Lovely comfortable apartment in beautiful setting. Spacious balcony. Comfortable beds and lots of towels. Kitchen was well equipped apart from only 2 tumblers. Very clean apart from thick dust in one corner of bedroom where drawers had been moved. A few bulbs were not working, and plug in the main en-suite was broken so sink wouldn’t drain properly. These few niggles would not stop us staying again, had a wonderful time. Review independently collected and verified by Reevoo

We had a lovely holiday.

We had a lovely holiday. We didn't go to watch TV but found the Sky reception to be slightly erratic. One day you could watch a channel and the next day you couldn't. Walking to Silverdale railway station requires a lot of care. The Wolf Gallery and cafe is a very pleasant local destination.

Great locations with local shops and pubs/restaurants near by.

Great locations with local shops and pubs/restaurants near by. Some great views across the bay within a short work with many options for bird watching. Easy to get to South Lakeland. Directions provided focused on getting into the property and include very little details on how to get there from the main traffic routes.

Very nice 2-bedroom apartment with patio in very quiet private wooded area, about 1 mile from nearest village of Silverdale, in a complex of 21 separate apartments developed in a former mansion. Elegant and well-tended grounds, including formal gardens. Bird-feeders next to patio with plenty of birds visiting. High-spec apartment, clean and comfortable - no air-conditioning. Shower temperature is quite variable, going from hot to cool unpredictably. Quite expensive, but high-quality apartment, and good-quality fittings, though a few disappointing little penny-pinching touches such as no kitchen roll or spare toilet rolls provided.

This was an excellent place to stay.

This was an excellent place to stay. You would need a car to get around. Unfortunately there had been a power cut on the day we arrived and the cleaners had been unable to clean thoroughly. We were warned about this by telephone as we were travelling. We did feel that a good sweep would have helped as there was still remnants of, presumably, breakfast under the dining table! As power had been restored a quick Hoover helped!
