Quelle façon de passer des vacances sur les rails dans votre propre Caboose. Elle est belle depuis qu'elle a été entièrement refaite pour mettre le visiteur à l'aise. La chambre est à l'arrière du Caboose qui a un lit double, je pourrais ajouter. Il y a une salle de bain complète qui a une douche à l'italienne. .La cuisine est entièrement équipée. mais si vous souhaitez faire des grillades tout en profitant du magnifique parc, il est là pour vous aussi. Vous êtes à 90 pieds du lac Independence qui ravira votre envie de pêcher ou simplement de jouer dans sa belle eau intérieure chaude. IL Y AURA UN CANOE ET UN KAYAK À VOTRE DISPOSITION, MES COMPLIMENTS. Vous apprécierez la climatisation, Internet et Direct T. V. Il y a un foyer pour votre plaisir. Nous avons un magnifique ciel noir afin que vous puissiez être ravis par tous les BRIGHTstars.

Fantastic location and amazing property owners! We absolutely loved our stay and would definitely return! Paul helped us find great locations to experience everything we wanted to do in the area. Sitting by the fire on the lakeside and looking up at the clear sky each night was so relaxing. The caboose was a really unique option and I'm so glad we picked it!

My wife’s grandfather and mine both worked together at the railroad. So finding this caboose was a great little getaway for the both of us Paul is a great host and has done a great job with the caboose! We loved it!

Enjoyed our stay in the caboose! It has everything you need including a bath and full size shower. The full size bed was comfortable. Gina and Paul are wonderful hosts. Lake Independence was so quiet and peaceful, even on the 4th of July! The lake has a sandy, shallow bottom, perfect for paddle boarding and kayaking. Just a short drive from the cabin is a cute beach on Superior. We hiked Sugarloaf mountain & enjoyed shopping in downtown Marquette. We would love to stay in one of Gina and Pauls rentals in the future, thanks for having us!

The Caboose is compact but very comfortable, super clean and stocked with everything you will need! Gina and Paul are generous hosts with warm personalities and great suggestions. We arrived when outside temperature was 96 degrees!! Very hot in the Caboose sleeping quarters. Gina found us a fan to blow air conditioner air into the bedroom which solved the heat problem. The beach at both Lake Independence and Lake Superior were superior! The area is beautiful, the morning deer a welcome sight. Smoke from the Canada fires covered the area which hid the forests and lakes. Very relaxing both in the Caboose and surrounding forests! Thank you.

What a fun and quirky caboose! This was the perfect base camp for us and our motley crew, and Gina and Paul were just lovely. The lake was beautiful and location spot on for chasing waterfalls and Superior beach time with the pups. The caboose was super charming with everything we needed….we would love to stay again!

Great little property. Did end up getting colder than I expected but there was a heater for use. I spent most of my time hiking or in marquette which was an easy drive.

Unique and cozy

Neat area to stay lots of things to do ! We hit waterfalls and new to us mountain bike trails in big bay which are amazing !! I found the unique caboose very cozy and accommodating ! Thank you for a great weekend in big bay!

The cutest caboose!

My husband, our dog and I spent 2 nights at this wonderful spot! The caboose had everything we needed and was very clean and comfortable. The hosts were great and very responsive.

Fishing Vacation

We fished every day so didn’t spend alot of time in the caboose. However, it was clean, well furnished, and very comfortable. We enjoyed it very much.

Loved the setting! So unique! The hosts were very accommodating. Caboose had all the amenities, but the internet tended to be unpredictable at times. Great weather while we were there.

This little caboose had everything we needed and more! Came equipped with all bedding, dishes, pot & pans, utensils and etc. Paul & Gina were genuinely the host & hostess with the most! Also, enjoyed the sunset on Lake Independence, just beautiful!

a perfect getaway!

We had an enjoyable stay. The caboose has everything necessary in it and outside. Gina and Paul are very nice and responsive hosts. Gina's gorgeous garden is the best place ever to have your morning coffee! The area is full of natural wonders, and you will rarely see other people on your hiking trail. We are definitely coming back!

I was born in the Upper Peninsula, after graduating high school went to the lower Peninsula to continue my education,marry, have my children and live on a fast track for some years. Always I hoped to be back home where I started from. Hence here I am, lucky enough to have raised my children in pristine surroundings,with good air, lots of lakes to play in, trails to walk or climb. I'm a gardener with a passion so you will have lovely grounds to enjoy. When I'm not on me knees in the garden I enjoy cooking,making bird baths or hunting drift wood. Paul and I keep ourselves very busy with our rental interests. We have met some of the most enjoyable people. What a blessing.

This property was purchased because it was the perfect place to retire,plus there needed to be a home for our Caboose. We have our home on the property also so anything you would need would be taken care of right away.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

What is more unique then a lovely Caboose. Look out the front door and there is beautiful Lake Independence, go for a stroll in the garden, or just sit there and listen to the water fall. Grill out on your own weber grill, that fish which you might have caught that morning. You can enjoy some of the most wonderful 4 wheeler trails, Hiking, the fall colors are just beautiful!
