This fantastic villa with a great garden and private pool on the outskirts of Inca invites 8 people to spend a great vacation in the calm of the countryside. This spectacular country house has a very beautiful and well cared exterior area with a stunning lawn garden surrounding the dream-like chlorine pool. This sizes 10 x 5 metres and it has a depth from 1.2 to 2.5 metres. You can sunbathe on one of the 8 sun loungers and wash off under the spray of the exterior shower before taking a relaxing dip. After that, a large glassed-in kitchen-dining room with AC by the pool allows you to prepare your favourite dishes on the grill or on the gas hob and enjoy them at your large table or on the open-air terrace. You will find here a bathroom with a tub. In addition, there also is an exterior barbecue and a wood oven to cook pizzas or even your own bread. The property is fenced and privacy is total.
At the other side of the garden you will find a second building where you will find the living room, the bedrooms and the bathrooms, all characterised by a relaxing and cosy atmosphere that will make you feel at home. The living area offers two comfortable sofas where you can sit and chat with your loved ones or watch the satellite TV channels. There is another corner which is perfect to enjoy a good reading. Both areas feature AC and a wood stove for you to be comfortable. Next, you find the large hall - with a 5 metres long closet perfect for the clothes of all the guests- that leads to the bathrooms in the house -one with a shower and the other with a tub- and to the 4 bedrooms, all of which have AC. All of them have a double bed but one with two twin beds and space for a baby cot and a high chair. There is an independent laundry room with a washing machine, a dryer, an iron and an ironing board.
The property is located about 3 km away from the centre of Inca, a small city in the centre of the island with a singular charm. It offers a great variety of shops, restaurants, bars and services in general but being at the same time quite and cosy. Its traditional street market takes place every Thursday with artisan and local products, and it becomes a great lively place. This day is perfect to have a walk, go shopping and enjoy lunch in a "celler" that is, a traditional restaurant. You can also enjoy the night life in Inca and have some drinks. Regarding the beaches, the nearest one is in Puerto de Alcudia about 30 km away but you can also drive skirting the coast to know other wonderful beaches and coves.
Please note that there is no closet in any of the bedrooms.

Just about Ok
Good points - Angela the owner was very helpful and quick to respond. Wi-Fi round the house and pool area worked well. Kitchen in the poolside building was very usefull. Undercover parking for 2 cars was a bonus. It’s a large plot so quite a lot of room
Things that could be better - pool is a little tired with some missing mosaic tiles and a large stone holding the filter cover down, and maybe could be a little cleaner. Pictures of the villa show an outside shower but this is no longer there. Gas oven in the kitchen was a little tricky to use as the auto ignition does not work. The water supply to the kitchen tripped 3 or 4 times in 10 days and required a trip switch to be reset in a building about 50m from the house. The electric gates at the entrance do not work, we were told it would be repaired but this didn’t happen.
Bedrooms are basic - no draws or chairs to put clothes in and wardrobes are in a common area so was a little awkward sharing. Inca is a working town and not very particularly pretty.
As a note, one of the bathrooms (with bath) listed is actually in the kitchen building so not quite as useful as we thought 3 bathrooms would be.

This property could be amazing
This house could be amazing - but it is tired and in need of some TLC.
We were greeted with an overwhelming smell of damp upon entry which wasnt pleasant.
All of the bedrooms are a good size but without comfort. There are single pillows (we asked for more but were told not possible) and very uncomfortable mattresses. There were ample towels in each room in a really lovely little Mallorca basket (a really nice touch)
The Wifi signal is not good enough to work the digital TV, or connect to a laptop for work - we had planned to work from the location but could connect with any decent strength which was frustrating - even phones struggled to connect.
The living area is really lovely and large, and the bedrooms are a good size.
The bathrooms are both really tired and showing signs of needing some work doing to them - great that one of the bathrooms had a bath and the other a walk in shower (perfect for the kids) however, when the bathrooms were used by more than one person (ie we showered to go out to dinner) there was a very strong smell of sewage from the drains...
The kitchen area is a great space - but again needs a little TLC. Plenty of crockery and glassware - there was less than minimal cooking utensils and no BBQ equipment (we call the agent about this)
Huge fridge/freezer.
Very old-fashioned oven and range which was challenging to work.
We were really disappointed to be told by the owner NOT to use the indoor BBQ grill (which was so attractive in the photos) as it would fill the kitchen with too much smoke so had to use a very small, old bbq outside.
The Pool was amazing, great size and really deep, however again, needs some maintenance - there are some damaged stones/paving around the edge which made it a little bit dangerous.
The outdoor shower shown in the ad and in the photos doesnt exist.
The location is really great - easy to find, easy to access and 7mins to Inca (about 9Euro in a cab) lots of parking space (we had 3 cars)
Im really sad that the comments seem quite negative, because we had high hopes for this property based on the photos, and we can really see what this property could be if it had a little attention.
