Ocean Front Vacation Suite - Le conte de la baleine

Bienvenue à The Whale's Tale, un paradis en front de mer situé à Port Renfrew, en Colombie-Britannique. La suite entièrement meublée est située à l'embouchure de la rivière San Juan et offre une vue sur la baie jusqu'aux montagnes du célèbre sentier de la côte ouest.

Sortez par la porte de votre terrasse et promenez-vous sur la plage ou détendez-vous simplement sur votre terrasse et regardez les phoques, les lions de mer, les pygargues à tête blanche et les balbuzards.

La suite
Il y a une cuisine entièrement équipée, un lit queen size, une salle de bain complète, une douche à l'italienne et une salle à manger en plein air. Port Renfrew offre une véritable expérience de la côte ouest: de magnifiques plages, des forêts anciennes, une pêche étonnante au saumon / flétan et des restaurants locaux.

Endormez-vous en écoutant les vagues de l'océan. Réveillez-vous à la vue sur l'océan.

Il n'y a pas de service cellulaire à Port Renfrew, nous fournissons donc une connexion Wi-Fi à nos clients.

Port Renfrew est un endroit très spécial. Les clients verront que la région se développe rapidement. Il y a maintenant une station-service en ville, le magasin général a augmenté son stock et de nombreuses options de restauration.

Nous avons un minimum de deux nuits pour toutes les réservations. La suite est réservée aux adultes et peut accueillir 2 personnes. Pas d'animaux, s'il vous plaît.

Awesome Place

We spent 3 nights / 4 days in Port Renfrew at Whale's Tale. The suite has everything you need, the location right on the water is so relaxing, the hosts are awesome with information about the area and are very quick to respond. This was such a relaxing and great getaway for my wife and myself. Such a beautiful and well set up suite, we will definitely be back!

The Whale’s Tale is such a beautiful place to stay in Port Renfrew. Stunning views and great location right on the beach. The hosts have really put a lot of thought into stocking the suite with things one needs when away. Super clean gorgeous suite.

The room was very nice. Everything was clean. The bed was super comfortable. But the view! This was one of the best places we have stayed. Nothing beats sitting outside in the morning with your coffee enjoying the view. Easy access to the beach for walks. Man, it doesn’t get much better than this. The only down side to this location is the lack of a decent grocery store. The one store there is isn’t even a good as a gas station convenience store. Better stock up in Sooke.

Heavenly Stay

Just what the absent doctor prescribed for my well-being. Both my friend & I enjoyed every moment of our stay. Walking on your beach reminded me of my childhood, playing in “rooms”. Driving out of town across single lane bridges, going to see beaches and campsites-all picture perfect. In my book you get 10 Stars. 🐝

Perfect in every way

The Whale's Tail in Port Renfrew was an ideal location for exploring the coastline beaches. We loved the beautiful view of the cove from the patio and the private beach just down the steps from the yard. The unit was immaculate and tidy, with all the kitchen items we needed. The very nice bathroom had plenty of hot water, good water pressure and soft, fluffy towels. Nothing was lacking in the unit. The hostess was extremely friendly, considerate and responsive when we asked for a suggestion about the area. She anticipated every possible need. We could not have asked for a better location, rental, view or experience! Thank you!

Brilliant!!!!!

Imagine opening the curtains and the whole patio window view consists of the sea, the beach, green mountains, blue sky (for us anyway) seals swimming past, eagles and ospreys flying by, that's what you get when you stay at the Whales Tale. You also get immaculate accommodation, friendly neighbours and locals, a pub with the best atmosphere on the planet, salmon fishing from a great marina, loads of wildlife to watch and some great hikes and places to visit. And then you get Carol and Dan who make being great hosts look easy............probably because they are just lovely people. They certainly go out of their way to make you feel welcome and ensure you are short of nothing. We loved it and will be back!! Shaun and Sally Allen

Remote, rugged, and relaxing

We could not have asked for a better place to get away and unwind. Port Renfrew is a little more remote than I had thought, and we were warned that there was very little in town, and we appreciated the warning. The suite is attached to the owner's house, and we were so glad/lucky he was there! Dan's an avid fisherman, and was happy to share his catch with us - salmon one night, crab the next. Super nice folks, happy to help with anything but not intrusive in any way. The space itself is cozy, simple but elegant, perfect for a couple trying to get away. Wifi, but no cellular or TV (awesome!). Just siting on the porch, watching the surfers, osprey, eagles and seals would have been enough. The local pub serves excellent food, and we went whale watching with the outfit in PR. So looking forward to coming back!

Relaxing, high quality waterfront accomodation

My wife and I really enjoyed our time here. Everything was super clean and comfortable. Modern kitchen appliances, very comfortable bed and couch. It was great spending dinner eating and watching things happening on the water.

Serene and Beautiful

We stayed here for three nights and were exceedingly happy with this property! The view was beautiful all times of day, no matter the weather. This location served as a great base camp as we explored the greater Port Renfrew area, as it had easy access to the big trees inland and the beaches and tide pools on the coast. We had a chance to speak with Carol and Dan when we arrived and they were very welcoming and provided great recommendations for our trip. The apartment was well stocked and we had everything we needed to cook several meals in the kitchen. We would definitely stay here again.

A Great Weekend Getaway

We spent a wonderful weekend at the Whale's Tale. The apartment was immaculate, and we loved that we were able to sit in bed in the morning and watch the waves while we had our coffee. At low tide, we could walk down the stairs at the edge of the property right onto the beach, and at high tide, there was beach access only a few doors away. When we returned from our many walks, we sat on the patio while we played games, ate our meals, or just enjoyed the spectacular view. Our only regret is that we weren't able to stay longer to explore the area more, so we wouldn't hesitate to recommend the suite to friends.

Whale’s Tale Adventuring

Property is newer and just awesome. The well kept lawn and property gives this rental great curb appeal. The studio is very comfortable with a well appointed kitchen with kitchen island for eating, cupboards contain plenty of dish ware, utensils and cook ware. The upscale bathroom is roomy with on demand hot water and plenty of storage for toiletries. A super comfy and cozy bed with quiet surroundings ensures a restful sleep. And the spectacular view of the bay and opposite mountains is awe inspiring. The owners are very friendly, caring and gracious and want to ensure your stay is a very pleasant one indeed. We plan to stay here on a return vacation.
