Bungalow situé dans le parc pittoresque de Hengar Manor Country Park à St Tudy, Nr Wadebridge, Cornwall, Angleterre - Excellent emplacement pour la côte nord des Cornouailles, Camel Trail et Bodmin Moor.

Le bungalow est une propriété privée et est maintenu à un bon niveau. Il a une cuisine ouverte, salle à manger et salon. Logement de vacances approprié pour les familles et les couples. Il y a un espace de stationnement alloué à l'avant de la propriété et des terres agricoles ouvertes à l'arrière.
Il s'agit d'un emplacement à la campagne en bordure de Bodmin Moor. Situé dans les 35 acres de Hengar Manor Country Park, St Tudy, North Cornwall. Toutes les installations du parc de campagne sont à la disposition des clients, mais certaines d'entre elles entraînent des frais supplémentaires. Il y a une laverie, une boutique, un café-bar et un restaurant au Tavern Bar. Les animations saisonnières en soirée sont gratuites et adaptées à tous les âges. Les terrains du manoir classé 11e année comprennent un 9 trous, un par 3 pitch & putt, des lacs de pêche et des courts de tennis. Il est situé à seulement 0, 5 mile d'un accès de Wenford Bridge au Camel Trail et dans une bonne position pour explorer des attractions telles que l'Eden Project, Bodmin Jail & Jamaica Inn. La plage de surf la plus proche est à Polzeath, mais Daymer Bay, Rock, Port Isaac, Trebarwith et Boscastle sont facilement accessibles en voiture. Le joli village de Tintagel est à environ 8 miles de là où il est possible de suivre les traces du roi Arthur. De l'autre côté de l'estuaire de Camel se trouve Padstow avec son port pittoresque, ses restaurants et ses plages de sable doré. Une promenade le long de la côte jusqu'à Newquay révèle de plus belles plages à Trevone, Harlyn, Constantine Bay et Treyarnon. Le paysage côtier est spectaculaire avec un arrêt à Bedruthan Steps recommandé. En plus de la côte nord, il ne suffit que de 30 miles pour atteindre la côte du canal où une visite à Fowey, Charlestown et Mevagissey est inspirante.

Totally accurate description and zero complaints.

Myself and my 3 sons (16, 14 and 9) have just spent a fantastic 9 nights in the bungalow in Hengar Manor. The description of the property on Vrbo was 100% accurate and suited our needs perfectly. Great location as well. Mark (from Dublin).

Family getaway

Bungalow was clean and tidy . Set in beautiful grounds. Staff were very helpful . Shop had basic supplies needed.The information folder was very useful for ideas of days out. Visited Newquay .Sadly weather was not great for most of our stay

Had a fab stay in bungalow 69 Great location for our holiday plans We went out of school term so it was very quiet too... Very compact inside but it had everything we needed We didnt use the passes that were there or facilities for Hengar manor but a nice option if needed Only improving thing i would suggest is the bungalow number "69" is moved to a more prominent position as its tucked away high and not easy to see above a hugh bush too .. We loved our stay ❤️ Ty paula

Comfortable and well presented bumgalow

We had a great week staying at this property which was very nicely furnished and contained all we required for a week self catering. It was warm, quiet and had comfortable beds, and it is obvious the owner takes pride in what she offers the hiolidaymaker because all the equipment and furnishing supplied is of a good standard. It is located within easy reach of the main attractions of North Cornwall, and there are beautiful countryside walks to be enjoyed within a short distance of the property, including a number of garden centres and farm shops. Wi fi is available within the leisure centre on site, and we had reasonable reception on our mobile. The little pitch and putt course was enjoyable, and the shop whilst small, does stock all the basic groceries and a little more. All in all a great week and we would certainly return.

Perfect base for whatever you want to do.

The process of picking the property paying for it and the communications with VRBO were excellent. Communication with the property owner were just as good and we got all the necessary information. The property was absolutely wonderful. Spotlessly clean, well decorated, modern and well equipped. It’s quite cosy, but big enough for 4 people to base themselves for exploring the area. It’s on a Haven Holidays site, giving the best of both worlds. You can have a quiet holiday to yourself or use the facilities, which include swimming pool, bar, restaurant, entertainment, shop, tennis and even an escape room. We stayed 2 weeks and didn’t manage to see everything within a short drive. We recommend it.

We would stay again

Very clean and comfortable, furnished to a high standard, although not there for a holiday this time, it was accommodation for attending a family funeral in Bodmin, the location would be ideal for a holiday and we would certainly stay again.

A lovely short break.

Very clean and Covid19 compliant. Good location and most amenities on site if you do not wish to venture out. However there are some great pubs and attractions open in the area.

The property was as described and on arrival was one of the most spotlessly clean we have ever stayed in. The owner could not have been more helpful before and during our stay, and furnished the property to a high standard. The beds were comfortable. The shower was spacious. The site would clearly have much to offer families, but with the schools back, the swimming pool, pitch'n'putt and crazy golf were nearly empty giving a free run when on site! For a site holiday this was faultless.

The cottage was exactly what we required, comfortable, and in a quiet spot, even though other cottages not far away it maintained a sense of privacy. A socket for electric toothbrush/ shaver in the bathroom would have been handy

In December 2018 I have taken over ownership and management of this bungalow from my parents, who had been running it for the past 14 years.
My Dad loved the North Cornwall area so much that he was inspired to write a fiction book based in the area and had this published a few years ago.
I have 2 sons age 26 and 17. We have visited the bungalow many times over the past 19 years and I have watched my children enjoy holidays here as they have grown up. Each time we visit, we always find new places to explore.
Our family favourites are the unspoilt area around Trevose Head, Treyarnon Beach with its giant rockpools and the river estuary at Padstow. We also love the Crantock Beach area at West Pentire near Newquay especially in Spring when glorious poppy fields can be seen.
I maintain the high standards set by my parents in managing this bungalow and I hope that our guests continue to enjoy holidays here as much as my own family have done. Having visited the area on many occasions, I am happy to offer suggestions to our guests of local places to visit if required.

Being in a rural location, this bungalow offers a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle of everyday life & guests can enjoy seeing the beautiful wildlife at different times of the year around the Hengar Manor Site and beyond.
The location of the bungalow makes it a perfect base to explore the North Cornwall area with many places of interest, tourist attractions and beaches being just a short drive away. There is something close by to suit most ages and tastes.

Being situated in the grounds of the Hengar Manor Country Park site, our guests at the bungalow have the best of both worlds, as they have the choice to become involved with the various activities the site has to offer, or can be completely independent from this should they wish to be so. The bungalow is situated in a quiet corner of the country park.
