Fitch Lookout Mountain est un fantastique maison de vacances de 2000 pieds carrés perché sur le côté sud (côté ensoleillé!) de Fitch Montagne à Healdsburg. Nous avons une cuisine entièrement équipée, trois chambres, deux salles de bain complètes, un salon de taille double, une salle à manger, un espace bureau, et deux terrasses. Profitez d'un dîner en plein air sur le pont principal à côté de la cuisine, ou vous détendre dans le bain à remous sur le deuxième pont. Toutes les chambres offrent une vue spectaculaire sur la vallée de la rivière russe.

Nous sommes à 2 miles (5 minutes en voiture) de la place du village Healdsburg. Nous sommes à quelques minutes à pied de la rivière et une plage semi-privée pour la baignade. Nous sommes situés dans un beau quartier rural et voyons souvent des cerfs, des aigles et les balbuzards pêcheurs, des ponts.

LE SALON
Le salon de taille double dispose d'une baie vitrée de 12 pieds qui offre une vue spectaculaire sur la vallée. Le salon a des plafonds cathédrale, un foyer au gaz, et amplement d'espace pour se détendre et se divertir. Nous fournissons un téléviseur grand écran avec le câble de base, un système de son surround de cinéma maison, et un DVD / lecteur MP3 / CD. Vous pouvez connecter votre lecteur MP3 ou lecteur portable directement au système de cinéma maison pour la grande musique de sondage. Chaud par le feu sur l'un des deux cuir inclinables LA-Z-BOY ou profiter de la vue depuis le canapé en face de la grande baie vitrée.

CHAMBRE PRINCIPALE: La grande chambre principale, lumineuse est perché au-dessus du salon. Il a un lit à plateau-coussin reine, plafonds cathédrale et une vue sur la vallée fenêtre magnifique baie. Il dispose également de deux fauteuils confortables pour la lecture, d'un bureau, et des conférenciers pour pour une utilisation avec un lecteur MP3 ou un ordinateur portable. Climatiseur de fenêtre. Ventilateur de plafond.

ESPACE VERT: Cette chambre confortable dispose d'un lit double avec un matelas à plateau-coussin. Réveillez-vous à la vue de la vallée et l'étape à travers les portes-fenêtres donnant sur le pont inférieur avec le bain à remous et table de bistrot. Également équipé de haut-parleurs pour pour une utilisation avec un lecteur MP3 ou un ordinateur portable. Ventilateur de plafond.

LEAF CHAMBRE: Cette suite accueillant dispose d'un charmant lit plate-forme queen. Détendez-vous avec un livre sur le canapé ou pas à travers les portes-fenêtres donnant sur le pont inférieur avec la baignoire et bistrot table chaude. Également équipé de haut-parleurs pour pour une utilisation avec un lecteur MP3 ou un ordinateur portable. Ventilateur de plafond.

With led lights and waterfall action, it is its own little party! Although, did you know that during spring, at the right time of evening, if you sit in the dark, you can also watch the Milky Way Galaxy Core rise above that mountain ridge horizon you loved to stare at! We have since enhanced the outdoor decks with soft rugs and hummingbird feeders and have more upgrades in the work! We have elevated the bed linens to luxury 600-threat-count extra-long-staple organic cotton sheets, and put new Tfal cookware and upgraded the coffee-maker in the kitchen. Of course we also refreshed the interiors with bright and modern paint schemes! We have more amazing updates in the works, so we would love to host you again, with a returning guest discount!

Place is a real gem: Beautiful views of the Russian River valley from the house and from several decks; Spacious and comfortable inside; Hot tub outside on deck with beautiful view of the valley; easy walk to water. We also did some nearby hikes and spent time in the lovely town of Healdsburg. Owner Stephen and manager Tenay were great hosts.

We were glad that the new beach amenities (extra-large beach towels, sunshade pop-ups, etc.) added some extra delight! We are so glad that you and the kids enjoyed your time at the river and house. This house is for the birds!

No, seriously, stay in this house if for no other reason than the incredible number of birds around, especially hummingbirds! The house is clean and comfortable with a great view. You can roll your kayaks down the hill to the river, then sit in the hot tub and commune with nature. One of the best parts of the house? The house manager Tenay! We had our informational call when we got settled and by the end of the call I felt we’d been friends forever. She’s a wealth of knowledge on places to go, things to see, and how to attract hummingbirds to your own home! We, and our dogs, loved our stay at Fitch Mountain Lookout, and can’t wait to go back.

In the Trees!

Cool cabin, lots of communication with host. Hummingbirds were amazing, there were hundreds. Didn’t realize both bathrooms were on the lowest floor so the top floor bedroom had a two story walk down when facilities were needed. Roads are extremely narrow to get to house and we were expecting an easier route to the river. Great spot for folks looking for an “off the beaten path” stay. Treehouse feeling was great.

Perfect location with great views!

Fitch Mountain was perfect for our group! We had 5 people and the 3 bedrooms for sleeping arrangements were perfect for us. Location was very convenient being close to town yet out enough to get amazing views! Would recommend this to other friends!

We are so glad that you and your friends had a wonderful time in our beautiful mountain home! I can watch that view for hours! With our new hummingbird feeders, you are now treated to an aerial display down below too and we are still seeing spotted fawns prancing by the spa deck! We have made many improvements (inside and out) since you last visited to enhance any future stay! We have upgraded all of our bed linens to luxury 600-threat-count extra-long-staple organic cotton sheets that feel so soft, and put new Tfal cookware and coffee-maker in the kitchen. Of course we also refreshed the interiors with bright and modern paint schemes and rugs. We are a little up the hill from the beach, which provides those amazing valley views. The walk to the beach is only a few minutes (6mins by google) down and around two corners. To eliminate any confusion finding the semi-private beach and Del Rio Woods Beach from the house, we now provide a very detailed map with the Arrival Information Package. Girls getaway

We booked the house for a long weekend. It’s just outside of Healdsburg and has a beautiful view. The kitchen was well stocked and it was a great place for a fun weekend.

Wonderful Family Wedding Getaway

Tenay, the property manager was outstanding!! The home was warm and inviting from the accommodations, the hot tub to the amazing views. The travel from Boston to CA couldn’t have been any better. Thank you again Tenay for all your advice and help!!!

Long weekend in Healdsburg

The owner Stephen was great to work with and he was very helpful with recommendations. The property manager phoned promptly on our check in and reviewed the features of the property with us. The location is outstanding for touring the wine region.

Wine Weekend

We had a great experience at Fitch Mountain Lookout. The home has a great view, is a short walk downhill to the river, and only a short drive to town. We most enjoyed watching the birds come to the feeders in the morning while we started our day in the hot tub!

Wonderful time in Sonoma!

We had a lovely family vacation at Stephen's house. The hummingbirds and views were stunning and we loved being on the mountain close to the beach. Communication was very easy and thorough. We came during a heat wave and the AC units struggled a bit to keep up at times, but it was 100 degrees plus so very understandable.

Great Trip

House is convenient to town and as shown in listing. The road to the house is a little tight for large vehicles. Great home base for seeing wine country.

Bruce, Thank you for the excellent review! We do have a great location, in the heart of 3 wine appellations, and are only minutes drive to downtown--and only minutes walk to Russian River beaches with great views from the house. It is true that the road to the house is a typical California narrow and bendy road, and can be tricky for really large vehicles. However, the county has been doing massive vegetative management which has definitely improved it. We have made many improvements (inside and out) since you last visited to enhance any future stay! We would love to host you again, with a returning guest discount of course!

Overall it’s a beautiful location and area. We loved Healdsburg and being able to access it while also having the serenity of feeling like you were staying in the forest was awesome. The hummingbirds and finch are really neat to see. The hosts are very accommodating and there if you need them!

WHY I FELL IN LOVE WITH FML (Fitch Mountain Lookout)

Fitch Mountain Lookout is located in Sonoma Valley Wine Country, in the heart of where the appellations of Alexander Valley, Russian River Valley, & Dry Creek Valley converge. We are located on Fitch Mountain in a rural country Healdsburg neighborhood where deer, humming birds, various wild birds (Orioles, Junkos, Siskin Pine, Gold Finches) visit our yard daily. From our beautiful vistas, it is common to watch Egrets, Osprey & Herons fly below along the river's edge; during spring the colorful swallows put on amazing acrobatics.

Fitch Mountain Lookout may feel completely removed from the world, but we are still just 2 miles (5 minute drive) from the Healdsburg town square, only a few minutes walk down to the river to a semi-private beach for swimming/tubing. (We do recommend guests w/very young children drive, more detailed information & directions for both beaches are provided upon booking). We are only a few miles drive to the Russian River Valley, Dry Creek Valley, and Anderson Valley Vineyards, so hire a driver & spend the day enjoying the views, vines, & of course, the wine! With only a slightly farther drive, you'll reach the lovely Sonoma Lake! Stop at the Dry Creek General Store on the way for some picnic fixings & enjoy them from the incredible elevated view points! Craving some salty ocean air? FML is less than an hour (@ 40 miles) from the majestic Bodega Coastlines, full of activities, curiosities, & good eats. If you are craving big city tourist attractions, in @ an hour, you can be at the beautiful Golden Gate Bridge (& Headlands) looking at the San Francisco skyline.

Fitch Mountain Lookout also has a separate office area right next to the (seasonal) air conditioning. This spacious office area is equipped with an extra large L-shaped desk station, ergonomic padded office chair, and has a robust 400mps Wi-Fi that make any video calls a breeze. Surrounded with office art any Star Wars fan will love & gorgeous forest views—it will definitely reduce the sting of having to tend to business. With a sliding glass door that leads straight to the Coffee & Cuddles Deck with even more Russian River Valley views, fresh air breaks are easy, and might be hard to resist.
