The Hideaway Jervis Bay

Le Hideaway Jervis Bay est situé à 200 mètres à pied de la plage de sable blanc de Greenfields. Cette maison de plage de style familial est relaxant et bien équipé avec toutes les commodités modernes.

Si vous êtes à la recherche d'une escapade qui est enfant et / ou groupe amical - alors The Hideaway est sans aucun doute l'un des meilleurs endroits dans la baie de Jervis!

Le Hideaway peut accueillir 10 personnes, avec 4 chambres, 2 salles de bains avec la salle de bain principale bénéficiant d'une fabuleuse baignoire spa double.

La cuisine est entièrement équipée et avec son plan ouvert, s'assure qu'ils font partie de la partie. Avec lave-vaisselle, micro-ondes, grand réfrigérateur / congélateur et toute la vaisselle, etc., beaucoup de festin a été préparé!

Nous avons également un grand jardin pour les enfants à jouer ou pour les adultes de se détendre, le tout confortablement installé sur un grand bloc de 1100 mètres carrés sur le parc national.

Près de belles promenades de brousse et à quelques mètres de quatre des plus belles plages de la côte sud, Greenfields, Blenheims, Chinamans et Hyams Beach.

Très désolé mais notre propriété ne peut pas accueillir les familles et leurs animaux domestiques car la cour n'est pas clôturée.

Disposition de la maison

Le salon / salon décloisonné s'ouvre sur une immense terrasse divertissante surplombant la magnifique réserve du parc national de la baie de Jervis. Cette belle toile de fond invite de nombreux visiteurs à plumes et à fourrure, par exemple. Kookaburras, Loriquets arc-en-ciel et opossums sur le pont qui est équipé d'un barbecue à gaz et une grande table en plein air.

L'espace de vie principal de la maison est climatisé par l'intermédiaire de cycle inversé, système d'onduleur (chauffage et refroidissement) qui est fantastique sur ces soirées fraîches ou nuits d'été étouffantes. La maison est située dans une rue calme, en retrait de la route où vous ne verrez pas ou n'entendrez pas une voiture!

La maison dispose également d'une buanderie avec machine à laver et sèche-linge.

Salle du rez-de-chaussée; Au rez-de-chaussée, vous trouverez un lit Queen confortable. La suite de jardin a sa propre salle de bains, salon comprenant TV à écran plat et DVD.

Couettes, couvertures et oreillers sont fournis, tout ce que vous devez apporter est le linge de maison, mais cela peut être loué.

The Hideaway est une propriété privée. La maison est lumineuse et aérée et permet beaucoup de lumière naturelle grâce à l'utilisation de plusieurs puits de lumière tout en offrant une atmosphère chaleureuse et confortable sur ces soirées d'hiver fraîches.

La maison est remplie de livres, magazines, jeux, CD et DVD de films (pour tous les âges), que vous décidiez de sortir et de profiter de belles promenades / plages ou simplement vous blottir avec une couverture, un café et un magazine. .le choix t'appartient!

Et pour ceux qui ont de jeunes enfants, nous avons tout ce dont vous avez besoin, donc vous n'avez pas besoin de trimballer tout de la maison. Les articles incluent portacot, chaise haute, portes enfant, rocker, playgym, table à langer, chaise de bain, landau 3 jogger, douche extérieure, livres, tout y est!

Jervis Bay est un endroit fantastique à visiter et offre un large éventail d'activités. Pour les plus sportifs, la plongée avec tuba, la plongée sous-marine, le kayak sur la baie, la pêche, l'observation des baleines et des dauphins, la randonnée, la baignade, le golf et l'équitation sont quelques-unes des activités locales. Ou si vous choisissez de ne rien faire, alors The Hideaway est parfait pour ça aussi. Votre choix. Nous fournissons avec plaisir une grande liste d'idées de choses à faire en fonction de la démographie de votre parti - il y a certainement quelque chose pour tout le monde à apprécier dans et autour de la baie de Jervis.

Family catchup

Our family spent the most relaxing week at The Hideaway. Great house with everything you need and a huge deck/ BBQ for entertaining. The house is an easy 2 minute walk to Greenfields Beach and then 20 minutes thru to Hyams Beach via the coastal walking track. Close to Vincentia for supplies if needed. Hoping to book again next year

Beautiful house in a quiet area

We had a lovely week with three generations of family at this beautiful property over Christmas. We particularly enjoyed the very private location and proximity to the National Park and Greenfield Beach, while being only a short drive away from the cafes and large grocery shops of Vincentia (the best of both worlds!) The outdoor shower was enjoyed by all after trips to the beach and we found the lounge area with its sofas and large screen tv very comfortable for watching movies and relaxing with our group of eight. Maureen was a very helpful host and we would definitely book again!

Peaceful beach escape

Location was excellent , plenty of room indoors and outdoors. comfy bedding. Unfortunately the online description of baby supplies was inaccurate, no safety gate to indoor stairs and no pram, baby swing was dangerously frayed and covered in spiders and webs. We moved the couch to attempt to close off the indoor stairs from our 8mth old crawling baby only to find dead cockroaches, old corn chips and pieces from a board game underneath it. We still managed to have a nice short break once we'd sorted out the issues.

As explained in the phone call, the internal safety gate had been broken by a tenant the week prior and we are in the process of getting it replaced - unfortunately with things like this, you cannot foresee breakages and we try to attend to them as soon as we are able. If you had confirmed with me prior to your stay I could have advised you - but I do apologise for that. With regard to webs outside, we back onto the National Park and nature takes its course. As for the under the lounge, I do have a new cleaner who is usually quite pedantic so I will advise her on this. Otherwise I am glad you had a nice short break and I do hope you are able to return another time.

Great spot!

This property is beautifully nestled in the bush with the sound of waves in the near distance. It was about a 5 minute walk (with small children) to Greenfield Beach which is small, has rocks to explore and has shade all day making it ideal for kids and adults. The house is a split level home with one room downstairs with its own kitchen and bathroom. On the mid level are 3 more bedrooms - a queen, a double and 2 bunks. The beds were comfortable and each room has storage. One room has a bunch of baby items to use. The bathroom is excellent - modern with a separate toilet and separate shower/spa bath which is ideal when sharing this space with others. The top level has an open lounge and dining with a large dining table and plenty of games and kids toys to use. There are 3 sliding doors out to a huge deck which looks over the bush - it was absolutely beautiful. The outdoor table and chairs felt new and were very comfortable to sit at for meals. There is plenty of parking in the long driveway and there’s a hot outdoor shower which is excellent after beach days. Being so close to nature, we needed some mozzie repellant when outside and some bug spray for the occasional little visitor! The very welcomed visitors included nightly visits from 3 brushtail possums including a mum and baby, as well as a ringtail possum once. Plenty of native birds stopping by during the day too. This property is in a convenient and relaxing location with everything you need for an enjoyable stay. On top of that, the owner was very approachable and made sure we had all we needed while being open to any small suggestions after our stay.

Work getaway

The property was excellent, actually better than I thought it appeared in the photos. We had a family of kookabarras that visited both nights. The walk to the beach was an easy 2mins. I would definitely recommend the property. One thing I would note is vehicle access is better from a gated dirt road behind the property as the driveway is quite steep and very tight.

Great location for Greenfield Beach

We had great time staying at this house. It’s only 2 minutes to the beach and other beaches within easy walk. House is in desperate need of new floor coverings. Price doesn’t include linens. Providing shampoo and tissue would be nice or let guests know.

Glad you had a great time Fiona - yes the 2 min walk to one of the most beautiful beaches in Jervis Bay is so handy. The floor coverings are being changed in May which will be great. As advised, most people are quite particular about the shampoos and conditioners they use so it is not something we provide.

The perfect place in the heart of paradise!

Greenfields Beach and Blenheim Beach are both in easy walking distance from this house, it is next to a section of Jervis Bay National Park, the location is as quiet as it gets. A perfect place for a couple or a group of friends or a family. It is a beautiful house and well equipped. The host Maureen communicated everything we needed to know timely and friendly. The place now has WiFi, it works well. The spa bath is great, the large deck is beautiful.

Stunning Bush Aspect

My family and friends had an excellent weekend getaway at The Hideaway to celebrate my 40th birthday. The house had everything I expected from the listing - and it was even better than I had imagined. The deck is a wonderful area to relax, share a meal and enjoy the sounds of the bush and the beach is just a stones throw away. Maureen was so generous in helping me plan this weekend with the added stress of trying to book during Covid-19 restrictions. I just snuck through with dates with it being the first possible weekend we were all allowed to leave to drive to the Jervis Bay area. Thank you so much Maureen for helping make it a memorable birthday celebration. I highly recommend this beautiful beach house for families or small groups.

Pros: - perfect location, close to Greenfield beach - plenty of rooms for 2-3 families - The owner is kind and understanding, let me change the date, due to Covid. Do good

Stayed for 4 days. The house is in a perfect location, short drive to the stores and a very short walk to the beach (we went everyday).. Even with 7 of us, the house was big enough to give us all our space and not feel like we’re stepping on eachother. Awesome deck for bbqs in the afternoon hearing the waves roll in the distant. Really enjoyed our stay!

Great House in Prime location with issues

We had a lovely stay, nice layout of the house, and house as described except had major cleaning issues on arrival, the carpet had not been vacuumed & parts of bathroom floors/shower were dirty. I had only booked because reviews stated back in March they were going to lay floorboards and deal with cleaner issues. Unfortunately, this had not been taken care of. Once the owner was advised of the problem; she was prompt to rectify issues however I had to spend time showing her cleaner what dirt looked like which cost me some time away. I offered the owner to call me at end of stay so I can provide feedback on her cleaner experience and unfortunately after over a week she has not made contact; hence the review. Recommend: carpet is replaced as it is currently dirty and stained and source reliable professional cleaners and this place would be a 5/5. Guests should not have to deal with these issues on arrival. Poor Management as these issues were previously raised.

Dear Mariana, I apologise for the cleaning issues you experienced. Unfortunately I had taken on a new cleaner and her standard was below par - the day after, she was diagnosed with soft tissue sarcoma so that may go some way in explaining her level of cleaning. I have since taken on a new professional cleaner that is as pedantic as I am with regard to level of clean expected which has been fantastic. I did not call you back as you were kind enough to send me thru the photos, and I attended to the issue immediately as you know, so I did not think there was anything further to concern you with, however I will call you today. Again I apologise, appreciate your understanding that it can be very difficult finding a good trustworthy cleaner, but I am very pleased with the professional cleaners we now have onboard. I am happy that, apart from this incident, you enjoyed your stay.

My aim is for people to enjoy the house as much as my family and I do. I have always loved Jervis Bay since I did my diving course there back in 1994. I always wanted to have a beach house that I loved so that I could share it with others, especially those with young families.

Lots of reasons. Firstly our local beach, Greenfields, which is a 2 min walk , is one of the most beautiful beaches in Jervis Bay. So many weddings happen there because it is so special. Secondly, the wildlife where The Hideaway is situated, gathers lots of furry and feathered visitors from Kangaroos, to King Parrots to Possums. They all come and visit at one time or another and really make this place very special. Thirdly, it just is a beautiful part of the world. Its natural landscapes, crystal clear waters, and bush tracks are just magical. It is great for diving, snorkelling, kayaking, bushwalking and of course, swimming. You could not ask for a more beautiful place. We have no doubt you will love it just as much as we do.

Some of the unique benefits of The Hideaway Jervis Bay is the fact that it is about 150 metres to the best beach in Jervis Bay. It also boasts a huge deck that faces the National park so it is relaxing and peaceful. We have an outdoor shower, a spa bath and a huge play area at the rear of the house for the kids to run. It has space for everyone. It really is a fantastic house for everyone to kick back and relax in.
