This is a great - well maintained and thoughtful accommodation. Jeanette, the host, really gives you everything you need. Even and outdoor shower when coming back from the beach. Nice outdoor area. Good quality furniture and fittings.

We found Genie House and host Jeannie to be great. It was a perfect place for family to be based while attending a wedding in the area. The house was spotless and equipped with all necessary items :)

The house was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The communication with Jeannie was great. Our dogs loved the house, plenty of room for them. The house was close to all amenities. We highly recommend the stay and we will be back!

We enjoyed our three night stay at Genie House. It’s a charming, neat cottage in walking distance to town. We were travelling with our dog and were delighted to see that the front garden was fully fenced, providing a safe place for our fur baby to run around. The cottage was thoughtfully appointed, from dog bowls to beach towels and a well equipped kitchen. I would happily stay there again.

Had a wonderful stay. Host was brilliant, very responsive and thoughtful. Very comfortable vibe, everything you could wish for was supplied. Lovely and clean and a fantastic position in Byron.

Fantastic stay - great location

We loved our stay at Genie's in the comfortable and clean home. Our small dog loved the garden and we found the location very convenient and would not hesitate to book again.

Perfect home away from home

Beautiful house in a great location

House is beautiful, beds were supremely comfortable. House was well provisioned. The location is perfect. The cafe/grocer around the corner is one of the best we have been to.

Jeannie and Jim were lovely hosts - they left a bottle of wine in the fridge for our 30th wedding anniversary! It was a pleasure to meet Jeannie half way through our stay. She apologised for the construction work next door and gave us a 10% discount for the inconvenience of the noise. The guest house was in a great location close to beach and town but still in a leafy quiet area. Very comfortable and attractively decorated.

Perfect location and home away from home

We throughly enjoyed our stay in Bryon Bay, the house was just perfect for all our needs. Jeannie was extremely accommodating and the best part is that we could bring our son’s therapy dog. We will definitely return again.

Fantastic location

Perfect stay for our family visiting Byron Bay for the first time. Grocer basically across the road and restaurants within walking distance. We were traveling with 2 kids and small dog - I would love to come back and spend longer at this property. House was well equipped including beach towels and very clean.
