This is a beautiful light filled properly in a lovely location in delightful surroundings close to Hamelin Bay and Augusta. Spotlessly clean with all that we needed. Comfy bed! Thank you, Lorna. We look forward to returning.

An amazing stay

Incredible experience ; the cottage exceeded our expectations in terms of furnishings, location and cleanliness. The best part was sharing nature in every way with Lorna. There was an abundance of bird-life, and the property was a gardeners delight. Despite being a rural property - the gardens have been meticulously maintained and the addition of so many native trees, shurbs and plants means it's filled with so many species of birds. We had 7 days of living in paradise.... and I just hope that we can find a vacancy in the near future to enjoy it all again. Thank you Lorna for an amazing stay.

Chilled cottage and grounds

The cottage was absolutely spotless and well equipped..It was such a chilled weekend and the grounds are beautiful for a walk.. The owner Lorna I met whilst walking and a such a lovely woman

Shangri-La in Karridale

Amazing accommodation at the Country Comfort Cottage in Karridale. The house was super clean when we got there. The garden surrounds are in impeccable condition. Every window provides a panoramic view of gorgeous countryside and a huge area to explore and walk the dog. The standard of the facilities and the cottage itself was 10/10. Highly recommended...oh and the host is awesome.

Absolutely gorgeous cottage and grounds.

Beautiful gardens with beautiful bush wrens and wildlife, plenty of space for family dog's to run around. Close to the Hamilon bay beach ⛱. Close Karridale Tavern which is great atmosphere.

Picturesque Cottage

We liked everything about this place. The cottage is very clean and comfortable. The garden is beautifully organised with many native plants. Our dog enjoyed staying there too. It's so quiet and restful. Thank you Lorna for a lovely weekend stay!

So relaxing

Such a beautiful little cottage !! Our goal was to relax and we certainly did . Watching the wild life and weather roll in around us with the large open windows . Even though we had everything we could possibly need Lorna still touch base to see if there was anything we needed to make our stay more enjoyable . I could not recommend a stay more than this one . ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Beautiful Cottage

We had an amazing stay. The images of the cottage does not do it justice and the grounds are amazing. So much bird life. Just what we needed to get away from our busy lives. Thanks again Lorna for making our weekend stay wonderful.

My name is Lorna have lived and loved this area since moving here in 1979. Partner and I built our home from rocks and mud bricks and both being artistic loved the opportunity it gave to express this creative side of us The cottage was built many years later from the same rocks , as a studio, later converted into a short stay accommodation This allowed us to share this beautiful place with others and to encourage an awareness of the need to nurture and preserve the beauty of the surrounding country . we built only one to maintain the peaceful and secluded feel of nature that comes with being here

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

we bought this property after the fire in 1962 burnt out the timber mill that originally was established to cut and send Karri timber to pave the streets of London . No one wanted to live here any more and there were only a handful of residents living here at that time . It was during the era of alternative lifestyles and getting back to the land we jumped at the opportunity to create something . It was a magical place combining ocean forests and river systems . I fell in love with it instantly

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

This area offers the best nature can provide in breathtaking scenery and oceans tall forests with its unique smell So many birds and an area with the greatest numbers of diverse species . the night sky is absolutly breathtaking nothing like it in the world . It was a fresh canvas too to build a house something my partner and I had never done,and to build a life that nurtured and protected the environment while we lived in it .
