The property was very comfortable and well appointed. I loved the clean and well lit spaces. The location was great for us, we were able to walk to the aquarium, shopping, restaurants, and parks/beaches (all less than a mile from the VRBO). We had a great vacation!

Bathrooms are little small but no complaints from me. The kitchen was well equipped and the beds were comfy. We were in a good location so was only a short drive to town and attractions.

Sweet spot in Pacific Grove

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My friends and I booked this rental for an annual college reunion, with five folks staying here, and others staying in the neighborhood. It was a perfect spot - walking distance to Cannery Row in Monterey, just up the street from some cool local businesses in PG, and very comfortable. When there was a problem with the gas stove in the kitchen, Sanctuary Vacation Rentals worked with us to make it good. They were pleasant, responsive, and ultimately made sure we were satisfied. I will definitely do business with them again.

Only downside is the bathrooms are small. Otherwise, this is a top place in the entire region. A block from restaurants and shops yet quiet. No AC but not an issue given how cool it gets and stays. Parking was very easy both on the street and in the city lot adjacent to the property. Beautiful town (less crowded than Carmel)..

The house was very clean with nice bedding and towels. The kitchen was fairly well stocked. The bathrooms were somewhat small and the living room could have had more comfortable furniture. The location was good if you are able bodied to walk a bit. It was in a quiet neighborhood except for the morning seagulls, which makes it aptly named. We had a very pleasant stay overall.

Location is fantastic. House is very clean and cozy! Ease of booking and communication is great although the Sanctuary rep and cleaning person came at 10am even though we were granted late check out at 11am and they were not made aware.

Beautiful property, excellent location in close proximity to downtown Pacific Grove, local stores and the aquarium. My only callouts are that the entrance is via stairs, the living / TV room isn’t comfortably set-up for more than two people, say if watching a movie with kids. Both bathrooms are downstairs. Aside from these mostly minor items, the owner has really made for a great place to stay (comfortable beds, linens, towels, coffee makers, Blackstone griddle) and thoughtfully provided wine and cheese at welcome. We would visit again in the future.

Lovely weekend in pacific grove

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is a lovely property in a great location near the beach and commercial areas. Appreciated the wine and cheese left for our enjoyment. The main downsides are that there is limited comfortable seating in the living room- only one small couch and a lack of comfortable chairs so if you have a group of 5 or 6 , there isn’t really a great place to hang out with the group. Also both bathrooms are on the main floor, inconvenient for the upstairs bedroom guests. We were also unable to get an answer on late checkout in a timely manner.
