Artist Studio Cottage

L'ARTIST STUDIO COTTAGE
est très privé et est autonome, avec son propre grand jardin subtropical et à seulement quelques mètres du sable blanc de la belle plage de Belongil. Dormez au son des vagues et de la magie du chant des oiseaux.
Vous pourrez vous ressourcer et vous ressourcer dans ce chalet en bord de mer où la nature regorge.
Promenez-vous le long de la plage dans le canton animé de Byron Bay (avec ses cafés, ses boutiques et sa vie nocturne) ou profitez de la société de café locale ici à Belongil et des plages sans fin. Le café Treehouse populaire et le bistro Belongil sont à quelques portes et sont ouverts tous les jours.
Il y a un parking hors rue et un chemin d'entrée séparé qui mène au chalet.
L'accès à la plage se fait par Manfred St ou en face des cafés. Il n'est qu'à quelques mètres de la plage.

Le chalet est confortable et arty .. rempli de mes peintures. Le gîte se compose d'un lit / salon, d'une cuisine / salle à manger et d'une salle de bain. Les 3 chambres s'ouvrent sur le patio et le jardin. Il y a une machine à laver et barbecue. La cuisine a toutes les bases. Il y a un lit queen et un canapé confortable qui se déplie en un lit double.
Vous aurez votre propre chemin d'accès depuis la route et l'utilisation privée du jardin arrière sous le poinsettia. Vous pouvez également utiliser la corde à linge House.
Se déplacer:
Promenez-vous en ville le long de la plage, de la route ou de la piste cyclable. Ou conduire. Il est à seulement 2 km du centre-ville de Byron Bay. Il existe de nombreux centres d'informations touristiques et touristiques en ville. Les bus reliant l'aéroport vous amèneront à la porte. Il y a des vélos (et des voitures) à louer en ville.

Very private, peaceful location in a beautiful garden. The cottage was pretty with an outdoor seating area for dining. Nice bathroom with washing machine attached to the cottage. Bed very comfortable. Lounge area with TV cosy. The kitchen was spacious but could have had better equipment and the garden could do with a couple of reclining chairs.

Such a lovely place and perfect location

Absolutely loved our stay. Such a gorgeous little place and beautiful private garden. The location is simply PERFECT as well, just a minute walk to the beach. Only improvement for me would be to have a fan, even though it has a good working airco.

Artists Cottage

Great private getaway close to Byron Bay. The garden is a private oasis and we loved watching the bird life. Close to the beach where you can walk for miles in either direction. Jen is a great host and we would definitely want to stay here if we were back in Byron Bay.

The property is shabby, cramped, and dark. The outdoor furniture and some of the inside furniture are ready for the dumpster. The 'stove' in the kitchen is a two-burner unit that plugs into a powerpoint. No oven. Poor value for money when compared to other properties in the area. Very uncomfortable.

My mum & I loved our week in Jan's beautiful artist cottage. We had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Enjoyed the leafy backyard, outdoor dining, close proximity to the beach & the quiet street. I'd definitely recommend it!

Great location within walking distance down the beach to Byron but not in the busy part of town. Great couple of bars/ restaurants a few hundred metres away & the ocean nearly on your doorstep. A tranquil garden setting. Lovely!

A beautiful place to stay in every way

The cottage was exactly as we had expected and Jan made us very welcome. The location is perfect - in a very peaceful location just a short walk to the beautiful Belongil beach and about 2km into the centre of Byron Bay (either walking along the beach or road ... or a few minutes in the car). The cottage is very private and overlooks the garden. It is well equipped and comfortable, and even on one chilly night while we were there we were very cosy with the heater on. Would also highly recommend the Treehouse just along the road for dinner.

Relax to birdsong and crashing waves

Jan’s cottage is a delight. It has everything you need for a quiet, relaxing time away from any hustle and bustle. There’s no huge smart TV or other mod cons, but what you get is honest, simple, and non-digital, which gives you a break from that space anyway. The location is fabulous, but if you want to walk along the beach to town you need to allow a bit of time.

Jan was very welcoming, but the facilities were very basic.Although it is quite private, there are no proper curtains at the Windows, we did not realise that you have to go outside to get to the bathroom, the kitchen is not very well provided with cooking utensils and there is only a two ring camping hob to cook on. The BBQ was not clean, I had to clean it before we could use it.The description “beside Belongil Beach” is a little misleading. It is close to the beach, but not exactly beside it.

Thanks for your review Ellen. However everything is clearly written on the website if you would like to read it more carefully. As a beachside (ie: not breachfront) cottage, sand is always a problem. Please do not bring the sand back on your feet. It makes for a huge clean up job.

The property itself was quite neglected . when we booked the property there was no mention you had to go outside the cottage to go to use the bathroom,merely it said that there was no ensuite.we didn’t appreciate we had only a used cake of soap to use in the shower.We must say the hostess was very nice to deal with

Garden cottage by the beach

We truly enjoyed our five-night stay at the Artist Studio Cottage in the northern part of Byron Bay. It was the perfect retreat for a relaxing holiday. The cottage is beautifully maintained and in excellent condition, offering a cozy yet spacious atmosphere. It features a combined bedroom and living area, a well-equipped kitchen at the entrance, and a separate bathroom.Outside, the charming terrace and lush garden create a peaceful oasis to unwind. The cottage provides everything you could possibly need, and the host is both friendly and respectful of privacy, as the accommodation is tucked away in the back section of the property.The location is fantastic — the beach is just a three-minute walk away, and Byron Bay is about a 25-minute stroll along the shoreline. The setting is incredibly peaceful, and at night, you can fall asleep to the soothing sound of ocean waves.A dream getaway — we would absolutely love to return soon!Michael & Andreas

Voici pourquoi l’hôte a choisi cet hébergement

You will be able to rejuvenate and recharge in this beachside cottage where nature abounds.
Walk along the beach into the lively township of Byron Bay (with its cafes, shopping and nightlife) or enjoy the local cafe society here in Belongil and endless beaches.The popular Treehouse cafe and the Belongil Bistro are just a few doors away and are open daily.
There is off street parking and a separate entry path that leads to the cottage.
Beach access is via Manfred St or opposite the cafes. It is just a few metres to the beach.
Min 3 nights. free WiFi
The cottage is cosy and arty.. filled with my paintings.The cottage consists of a bed/sitting room, a kitchen/dining room and a bathroom. All 3 rooms open onto the patio and garden( NB the bathroom is not ensuite) There is a washing machine and BBQ . The kitchen has all the basics. There is a queen bed and a comfortable sofa that folds out to a double bed.
You will have your own access path from the road, and private use of the back garden under the poinsettia tree. You can also use the House clothes- line.

Belongil Beach is a special spot .. where you can still feel the magic of Byron Bay. You will find it a very laid- back, relaxed and peaceful place. Walk along the beach for miles or head to the Byron Lighthouse to view the whales and our magnificent coastline. Activities include surfing lessons, yoga, beach kayaking, scuba diving, sky diving, bushwalks in National Parks or climb Mt Warning. Explore little towns and villages in the area and markets, arts, crafts and music events.
