En passant par notre propriété, vous trouverez le Short Circuit Path, l'un des sentiers qui se connecte au reste du réseau de sentiers de 100 miles + Randolph Mountain Club et au-delà. Le sentier ferroviaire présidentiel de 18 milles est à quelques minutes, tout comme la forêt de 10 000 acres de Randolph Town. Commencez vos explorations de randonnée et de VTT ici depuis l'appartement, ou conduisez jusqu'à l'un des autres sentiers de randonnée à proximité. Les nombreuses attractions estivales et les possibilités de shopping sont également à proximité. The Mt Washington Auto Road, Great Glen Trails, Santa's Village, Story Land, des kilomètres de VTT, des centaines de kilomètres de sentiers de randonnée et de marche attendent votre arrivée, et bien sûr, des paysages spectaculaires dans toutes les directions.

La chambre principale avec salle de bain complète (douche, pas de baignoire) a un lit queen, un placard et un bureau avec des fenêtres sur 2 côtés en bois et vue sur les montagnes. We absolutely loved this place. It was quiet, peaceful and comfortable. As you can see. the view from the deck is spectacular. Howie and Susan have gone out of their way with some very nice extra touches: interesting books, tissue boxes, a well-supplied kitchen, cool coasters, and flashlights on the nightstands, just to name a few. Even though it was just the two of us, it was nice having two bathrooms. And having a washer and dryer was great. Hiking along the Appalachian Trail was close by, as was Mount Washington. We enjoyed eating at the Glen House, Nonna's, and the Omni Mount Washington. Our hosts were extremely nice. Great place for two couples or a family of 3, 4 or 5 (We didn't use it, but the upstairs play area looked pretty cool). You will not be disappointed if you choose this spot!

Perfect Retreat

Our favorite VRBO in the White Mountains, this clean, cozy apartment is well-equipped with attention to detail. Beautiful views of the Presidential Range could be seen from the windows as well as the private deck. Close to shopping, dining, hiking, or walking on local paths. Kudos to hosts Howie and Sue ; they are wonderful!

Never better!!

We have stayed in many VRBO homes, as well as those from other similar services, as well as home exchanges. In our 25 years of being guests in others' homes, we have never had a better place to stay than Howie and Sue's. You name it, they've got it. Comfort, feature-richness, quietness, everything you could ask for. We felt as comfortable there as home--and that's saying something. Equally impressive and just as important, Howie and Sue were perfect hosts. They made it clear they valued our privacy and would be there if we needed them. It was like visiting family, but better, if you know what I mean. We hope to return someday. They get a ton of repeat visitors and for good reason. You can't go wrong. Mike and Karen

Quiet and Comfortable

The apartment was well equipped and very clean. The neighborhood was quiet, located away from commercial activity yet an easy drive into Gorham. The owners, Howie and Sue live next door and were very conscientious of our privacy yet readily available for questions or concerns. Certainly recommend the apartment as an opportunity for peace and solitude, away from most White Mountain tourist activity.

Comforts of Home

Comfortable, spacious, cozy, well appointed and great location. Our hosts were very gracious. The place is located close to great hiking, even right outside the door and sightseeing. The private deck is a great place to relax after day of hiking. Really enjoyed our stay.

A Hiker's Paradise

Howie and Sue are consummate hosts in every sense of the word. From the moment we arrived, they welcomed us with genuine warmth. Their passion for the outdoors was infectious, and they eagerly shared their extensive knowledge of the trails in the area. Howie and Sue's hiking recommendations were spot-on, tailored to our preferences and skill level. It was clear that they genuinely cared about ensuring our stay was memorable. Whether you're a seasoned hiker or simply seeking a peaceful getaway, this cabin is an absolute treasure. We only spent a week at the cabin, but we were well positioned for big hikes (Wildcat Ridge Trail, the northern peaks in the Presidential Range) as well as all the delightful trails throughout Randolph itself, which literally begin outside the cabin's front door. We were also pleasantly surprised by the swimming options that we could walk to from the cabin—perfect for recovery days. We can't wait to return and explore even more of the incredible trails that this area has to offer.

The Goulet's

Great location, great view, and near all my family. Located just minutes from one family member, and a few miles to the other. We were able to visit with people we haven't seen in years. Close to many restaurants and tourist attractions, some just a short drive away. Nice and quiet at night, and the owners are readily available for any questions that are not covered in the very informative info packet.

Great Mountain Getaway

We went to see the fall colors and were not disappointed. Views off deck and from the picture window were awesome!Even driving up theroad to the entrance was full of beautiful fall color. Enjoyed walking trails around the house each day. There were just the sights of typical New England all around. The house was very cozy and clean. Everything was so convenient. Owner was right next door anytime we needed something. We would highly recommend it, and hope to be back there again.

House is great. Stayed there once before. Only complaint would be the shower and the bed are very small. Shower it tiny!!! Place is great and in a beautiful location. Howie and Sue have you covered and take good care of you! Great Property!

Just Wonderful!

Howie and Sue are wonderful hosts, with a wonderful place, in a wonderful location. They took time to suggest local hiking trails that would be appropriate for our three-year-old son, and let us borrow maps of the nearby trails. There is actually a nice trail about 10 steps outside of the apartment door. Our son loved hiking it while we were there. I couldn’t have imagined a better place to stay to. The views from the back windows and the deck are amazing, and the inside of the apartment feels so homey. Everything you could need, other than food, is already there. We were already discussing our next visit within the first 24 hours of being on the property. The local area is just breathtaking. You are within 30 minutes of countless natural wonders. Howie was available via text to answer questions I had. I don’t feel like I could ever run out of positive things to say about this home, the owners, and the location.

We had great time!

We stayed in this apartment for one week in the end of August, two adults, 11 year old and a dog, boston terrier. The apartment is very clean and cozy! Location is very convenient, in the quiet part of NH. The view from the deck is great and stars at night are amazing!!!

Charming home and epic views

Howie and Sue are lovely people who made us feel welcome and share their knowledge of the area. Une garçonnière is like staying in a “log cabin” with windows that look upon the presidential mountain range. Trails right out the door take you to a variety of locations that are well maintained. Our last day it was chilly and raining so I didn’t get out of bed for a long time, enjoyed the warm blankets and the peace and quiet. It was perfect.

Wonderful stay in the mountains

We had a wonderful 4 night stay at Howie and Sue’s well kept and comfortable place. We had 2 adults, a 5 year old, and 2 year old. They left great directions for hikes, food, and other things in the area. We visited storyland, santas village, and Clark’s trading post. All were an easy drive. We will definitely return. It was amazing!

I've lived in the White Mountains full time since 1971, moving "north of the Notch" to Randolph in 2003. In 2006 my wife, Sue and I purchased the home we had seasonally rented for several years and became proud Randolph home owners and landlords. After many years of renting year round, we decided to renovate the attached apartment and rent only in the summer season via Vrbo. We're both avid hikers, birders, and travelers with a keen love of the outdoors that we'd love to share with you when you stay in Randolph.

I first looked at "Hill" properties 30 years ago in another life when I was renovating homes and looking for that perfect place with mountain views and southern exposure - and here we are finally living the dream. Stay here and you'll see!

The night sky is absolutely amazing since we're far away from strong light sources - shooting stars, the Milky Way and passing satellites are all part of the show. We'll provide the local knowledge to get you to the places that will make this one of your most memorable vacations. Family attractions, scenic wonders, renowned outlet shopping - all within 60 minutes.

Nearby Gorham, NH (5 minutes drive) has many restaurant options when you're ready to dine out. Jackson, NH (30 minutes drive) has more restaurants and pubs, shopping and scenery. North Conway, NH (45 minutes drive) has dozens of unique shops as well as brand name outlet shopping and, of course, more restaurants and pubs.
