The place is neat and tidy. Its nice and peaceful in a secluded area. No worries from neighbours. Close to a supermarket and a gateway to explore the peninsula. Would definitely stay again!

Great few days away at Mt Martha at fantastic location, and lovely accom for the family and the dogs. Would definitely go back!

We had a lovely time. The home was excellent. Pet friendly. I'd highly recommend this property. Loved the morning walk along the boardwalk to the beach. The kookaburras were an added extra.

We loved this property - very comfortable, spacious and well equipped, really good heating which was important given the cold rainy conditions. A beautiful and peaceful setting with direct access to walkways, secluded yet a short drive to the local shops. Communication with the host was excellent. Highly recommended.

Really amazing property, we had a wonderful stay with our family. I think our dog Banjo enjoyed the trip the most, big back yard to play in and wonderful walking trails along the creek and beaches. Lovely house with lots of room. Kitchen / laundry facilities all really good. Great communication from the hosts. Highly recommend.

Beautiful spot

We had such a great stay. The house is in a beautiful setting with a big lawn area and bushland around it which made for a peaceful holiday. Tim was great, and we hope to be back again in the future.

Wonderful Stay at Mt Martha!We absolutely loved it. The place was amazing. Clean, comfortable, and beautifully set in a peaceful area. Everything we needed was close by, from shops and cafes to the beach and walking trails.The host was very friendly and quick to respond to all our messages, making check-in and communication effortless. It truly felt like a home away from home. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in Mt Martha!

This stay property was very easy to book and communicate to the owner. Once arrive the check in process was easy and was clear instructions from the owner on how to proceed. Once inside it was very clean and well maintained and it was an excellent stay for our big group.

The house was in excellent condition - well maintained and spotlessly clean. Correspondence with the owner was easy and timely. A highlight was the friendly kookaburras that came to say hello every day (and seek a meal of course).

Family Reunion

Very relaxing and comfortable home. Plenty of room for a family of 4-6 with a great yard to spend time in. Close proximity to great shops for food, wine and gifts. Mount Martha has always been a great destination to visit with much to see and do.

Property was well presented and clean. Beds were comfortable. Upstairs had good A/C which was needed on a 40 degree day! Lovely outlook amongst the trees. Excellent location.Downstairs bathroom has a shower over bath with a considerable step down and temperature of shower hard to regulate due to low pressure, this is not suitable for elderly visitors however upstairs bathroom excellent and suitable.

I suspect the shower water pressure was low as another utility was operating, but I will check again just in case. perhaps the washing machine or dishwasher was being used? The property was really well presented, very clean and lots of space with lovely views over an expansive garden, and a wraparound verandah, which everyone enjoyed. Lots of games for entertainment, a generous kitchen and lounge area, and a large yard, which backed onto a reserve. Surrounded by bushland and only a 20-minute walk into the welcoming village of Mount Martha and its crystal-clear beaches.The property is in a quiet location and there is plenty of space for people and dogs. The large yard is fenced, but it may not be secure for dogs, so it's worth considering bringing a gate for the front entrance.Great holiday location!

Christmas stay at Mt. Martha

During the year if Covid with on again , off again holidays it was great to finally get away. Great communication with the owner helped remove anxiety about the hire of the house. It was in a fantastic position where we could walk along the boardwalk every morning to the beach for coffee. Xmas was fabulous and even our ‘care’ dog loved it.

Sweeping greenery views

We loved our weekend at this spacious beach house! Tim was a thoughtful and attentive host. The setting is divine, with green views as far as the eye could see. We had breakfast and drinks/dinner on the large, wraparound verandah each day, marvelling at the quiet and birdsong. Access to the boardwalk/trail was a highlight for daily exercise and the short drive to the beach was ideal

Great dog friendly house

We recently spent 6 nights here with our 2 golden retrievers. The property is in a beautiful, peaceful part of Mount Martha and very secuely fenced. The house was comfortable and warm. Tim was fantasic to deal with. We are looking to move to the area and it was a perfect place to explore from. If you are a dog owner there are lead free beaches and a very large bushy area that is part of the Briars that is also off lead.

A Retreat in Nature

The location is amazing adjacent to the Balcombe santuary and if you have dogs, this is a great place to be as there are many walks for them. The house however needs updating with the aircon not being available in the master bedroom upstairs making it diffcult to sleep on warm nights despite having fans.The host was well responsive to messages and this was reassuring that our needs would be catered to even before we arrived.

Hi Kevin, many thanks for your comments while at my place and in the review. Partly as a result of your feedback, I have ordered a new multi-head split system, to cool the upstairs without relying on a fan, and upgrading the lower level cooling. Future clients will be very well looked after! You had a day at almost 40 degrees, so it was hot, and the fans help but aren't enough. Thanks again for your comments. Tim
