Leah is amazing - there are so many little extras included, you will want for almost nothing! In fact it’s best to pack light, all condiments little treats as well as the advertised breakfast and cheese platter. An absolute wonderful stay!

We thoroughly enjoyed our peaceful stay with tranquil water views. The accommodation was thoughtfully equipped with everything one could need, and it was truly amazing. The breakfast and other inclusions were scrumptious, and the owner was exceptionally helpful and friendly. We certainly plan to return.

Beautiful private location with a fantastic view. Fully stocked pantry with quality appliances. It's the best short stay rental I've had.

The host was very warm and lovely. The property was clean and tidy. We were pleasantly surprised by the large diversity and plentiful of food and snacks available for our enjoyment. All the amenities were easily accessible. The close proximity to the water and the views are great value for money. Couldn’t recommended more!

My wife and I visited serenity by the lake and loved every bit of the place. Leah was an incredible host, she was very helpful and welcoming and provided us with everything we needed and more. The amenities were great and were available for us to use throughout our stay, especially the kayaks which were so much fun given the great weather. The view was amazing and the place was very clean. The best part of the trip were the ducks that came to our door every morning and made everyday feel like a peaceful serene escape. Would definitely come back next summer!

Everything was taken care of - we could just relax ! The generous provisions were the best! The boathouse was clean, comfortable, relaxing, romantic etc etc. We had an amazing time and would highly recommend this wonderful getaway!

Absolutely gorgeous couples retreat

We had a wonderful stay here. An idyllic spot with black swans grazing just meters from the door. The place has been beautifully renovated everything is very new and clean. The hosts have supplied and thought of absolutely everything. Recommend this to anyone though the stair access would present a challenge for anybody with mobility issues.

Serenity! Pure serenity!

The best experience for two kiwis that couldn’t go home for Christmas! Everything you could want and need, so much to do (and not do!). The host is lovely but leaves you to the bliss, could not ask for more!

Best B&B stay ever!!!!

Serenity by the lake says it all. If you're looking for a peaceful, private hideaway look no further, no need to leave. Everything you could possibly need was on hand. Leah's attention to detail shone through, from all the comforts to the stocked fridge and pantry the views were to die for. Not to mention the kyaks, paddle boards, we did a spot of fishing. Truly was a busy restful time away.

Perfect place to relax

Leah has created the perfect relaxation retreat - beautifully appointed & very generously provisioned, you could easily stay ensconced for the duration of your stay enjoying the changing images of the lake on your doorstep. There is nothing you are likely to need that hasn't been provided and communications are friendly & prompt . A delight - thank you Leah!
