Great short break

Lovely place, perfect for our girls weekend away. Especially loved sitting by the fire, and a good stock of wood was supplied. A very relaxing place.

Stayed here for yet another Mount Buller ski trip after our pleasant experience last year. Excellent communication from the host and extremely good value for big groups doing snow trips.

Family friendly

was a beautiful family friendly home. We had young children with us and was perfect and safe for the kids to play in fenced areas. Very homely feel to the property. Beds were comfortable and clean. Beautiful view from the deck. Recommend property for families.

Clean and comfy with plenty of room

Myself and 3 mate had a great stay and “My sweet Bonnie” the house was clean and comfy with plenty of room for the 4 of us each having our own room. The fishing was good, the pub was great with exceptional meals, we would recommend and hopefully come back next year.

Great stay for a group ski trip!

House is clean and functional. Kitchen is well-stocked with cooking utensils. Nice little fireplace with ample supply of wood. Owner is great to communicate with. Overall very good value for money considering how expensive and lacking accommodation is anywhere close to Mount Buller.

Great experience

We really enjoyed staying this property for 3 nights. It has all required facilities to make the stay comfortable. The communication with the property manager was great. Just adding few small things in kitchen area like hand wash, scrubber, more tea spoons, bin bags, towels in the bathrooms could add more value to the property. But overall it was great experience

The house was very clean. We were a bit startled at having to bring sheets and towels, but we got enough warning to be prepared. The instructions came in a strange way that was hard to read but I managed to enlarge them enough to print them and if we squinted we could work out the words. The location was quiet, with good views. The beds were comfortable. We found the light over the table not good enough to play board games, but we were able to use one of the bedside lamps.

Place was really big and there were many beds in the different rooms. The house looked really good and cosy too with the bed being really comfortable. When we came, prior to putting on the bedsheets, the beds were slightly dirty but not too much of an issue. Hot water was also not functioning on the second night of our stay and the electricity in the different rooms stopped running throughout the night - we knew as our devices couldn't be charged. But nonetheless, owner was really nice and instructions were very comprehensive. The place was also really nice, enjoyed our stay there!

Location of the property was fine, we were in Bonnie Doon for a family gathering so only slept at the house. Don't think the skirting boards had been touched for ages, same with window frames. One flywire screen did not even cover the window so could not open it. Air conditioning was good. Fireplace covered in dust. We had to clean the second bathroom before use. Cobwebs on the ceiling in the main bedroom. Went to put a case under the bed in one of the rooms and the floor was covered in dust. Benches and first bathroom were clean but the house needs a very good clean before letting other people stay.

Needs more cleaning

Communication with the owner was great while booking n after.Main disappointment was the cleanliness of the place.Place needs a good wipe.I hope the owner oversees before/after the cleaning is done.Sofas were dirty inside(we put in a bedsheet on top of it to use it) and the outside seating arrangement was full of dust. We only used the table and plastic chairs that were outside.Of all the places we stayed till now -this wasnt the cleanest.Stayed with 2 other families.There was enough room for all of us and the kids.Hope the Karen supervises the cleaning next time.
