Ceci est un appartement de sous-sol de 2 chambres à coucher pour faire de votre maison loin de la base lorsque vous visitez Denver et Colorado! Grand et lumineux, des meubles de haute qualité et des lits confortables avec des couettes et des draps de haute qualité, spacieuse salle de bain équipée avec des serviettes de bain luxuriants. Sur la vue et un parking de la rue facile. cour arrière Nice, avec beaucoup d'espace pour lire un livre, pour manger, et profiter des belles soirées Denver! Dans le quartier historique de Park Hill sont plusieurs délicieux bistros de quartier, les cafés, les détaillants spécialisés, magasin de vin, des studios de yoga, et plus encore! Il y a aussi un centre récréatif avec des équipements de travail sur formidable (Les passes quotidiennes disponibles). A l'ouest de cet appartement fantastique, à une courte distance à pied ou à vélo, est City Park (le plus grand parc de Denver, où vous trouverez le lac, maison de bateau, zoo de classe mondiale et de la Nature et le Musée des sciences et de parcours de golf public). Juste au-delà City Park, vers l'ouest, vous frappez Uptown - où il y a de nombreux restaurants et bars fantastiques et est juste au-delà du centre-ville de Denver. A l'Est est le Stapleton Quartier, avec plus de shopping, restaurants, oodles des parcs et des pistes cyclables. Nous sommes sur les lignes de bus pratique et à proximité du nouveau tramway qui vous whiz à l'aéroport et le centre-ville. La I-70 est pratique pour se rendre dans l'appartement. The best hosts. Very personable and interesting. We got to know Herbie very well, and he was accommodating and interesting to chat with. This place is why we stay at these kinds of rentals rather than impersonal and cold hotels. The beds were comfortable and everything was adequately stocked even with our demanding coffee habits. The space was a great landing pad and offered some respite from a busy family trip.

I enjoyed the bath but couldn't get the Jacuzzi to function. The heater sounds like the house is preparing for liftoff it is super loud. You can only use one kitchen appliance at a time and there is no control for the climate so it was too warm. Also it all or nothing for lighting. Lamps would go a long way. The supply of shampoo and conditioner was plenty as well as water and coffee

Our host was very helpful with a warm welcome when we got there. We got in late and it was dark, so the welcome was very helpful. I felt very safe in the neighborhood and in our condo. This will be our place we stay at whenever we come to the Denver area.

Nice little apartment and budget price

We went to watch a Rockies game and hotels in Denver are ridiculous, found this property on Vrbo close to Coors Field. The price is absolutely a no brainer and everything for that price is awesome. If you need a place to stay not far from downtown, don’t even hesitate because if you do someone else will get it.

The host was super responsive and nice, and the unit was exactly as described. Nice space in a great location. The host lives upstairs, so you will hear them walking around, and there is only a sliding door between the host's kitchen upstairs and the stairs that lead down to the unit, so you can hear them washing dishes and talking if they are in there. I think they could use a door at the bottom of the stairs to close off that sound more.My only other issue was the cleanliness of the bathroom - there was a lot of hair on the floor and the clean towels, and the toilet and sink seemed to be cleaned really quickly because there were some spots missed that I ended up cleaning up myself. There was also a shirt from a previous tenant that was left. Overall, very nice unit for the price and location.

Lovely property

Our host, Herbie, was gracious , friendly, yet not intrusive. The apartment was clean, the beds were very comfortable, and the property was conveniently located. I was just a little disappointed, i probably missed this info on the app, but there was no stove or sink in the kitchen area. Everything else was excellent.

Not what we were expecting

Rental is somewhat smaller than in looks online. Host lives above, so some noise with people walking around in the late evening. No ability to use outdoor space. Windows would not enable exit in event of fire, so probably would not book again due to that. Listing likely showed these items but we did not realize in advance.

I cannot recommend this VRBO due to serious security concerns. We quickly decided this place was simply NOT acceptable for our family. There is a locked exterior door (that was open when we arrived) that leads to a set of stairs to the basement. However, there is no door to lock at the bottom of the stairs to separate you from the hosts. Imagine staying in someone’s basement, and the host telling you “they’d lock their access door.” We were not okay with the owner’s simply being able to walk down the stairs to their advertised “apartment.” Not being able to secure our child/belongings was a deal breaker. Furthermore, there was no separate thermostat to control the temperature, and it smelled like smoke. We contacted the host and requested a refund as the lack of security was not advertised in their listing, but they offered no solution and told me this was “normal” for the city of Denver. This, however, was not the case with our previous VRBO where we had a locked door to our unit as well as a thermostat we could manage.

Location was not suited to us

We arrived at the property early, with no instructions on how to obtain the key and noticed that 2 cars were in the driveway. I attempted to contact the owner by phone and did not receive a return call. Arrival information was incomplete with no instructions for the property. As we drove through the neighborhood, we were not totally comfortable with the location and after consideration among the 4 of us women, we decided to stay somewhere else. I attempted to contact the owner by both phone and email and did not receive a response to discuss our concerns. I am attempting a grievance in the hopes that a partial refund will be issued.

Has potential, but lots of challenges

We have stayed at 100s of vrbos and never left a poor review, but we feel like people should be aware of these things so they can make the best decision for themselves. For good, the hosts were really nice, bathtub was fun for kids, and the location was good. For not so good, there is no locked door between the basement apartment and the owners house above, just a sliding door. The bed was so creaky one of us moved to the couch because we would wake up anytime the other one moved. You could hear every step of the owners walking around. This was not a big deal during the day, but given that they were awake and walking around at all hours of the night, we only got 2-4 hrs of sleep. During the time of covid, coming in at check in time to the host in the apartment with no mask on and no windows open didn't feel great. There was no small sink in the kitchenette so we had to wash our dishes in the bathroom. Microwave overheated after a few minutes and stopped working for 10 minutes. Lastly, you have no control over the temperature. The thermostat is upstairs and there were no space heaters. Our kids got cold in the middle of the night, so none of us slept well. We do think this place has potential, but some changes need to be made.
