Location was first class and the service offered by the booking agency was excellent.There was a problem with the entrance door and garage door meaning we actually did not use the garage, but I understand the agent is seeing to that problem.The unit itself has potential. It was clean and tidy but it is very tired. I'm picking the building is about 40 to 50 years old and I very much doubt there has been much spent on keeping it modern and presentable, a condition the location deserves. The lights in the bathroom would not operate without the ceiling fans and they made more noise than the jets taking off from the nearby airport. Anyone using the toilet or bathroom in the middle of the night wakes the household.A renovation of what could easily be a first rate unit is needed.

The property was in a lovely spot, nice view, peaceful and quiet, it had walking areas and swimming areas close by.The unit itself could do with being updated, the paint work looks original and the furniture is miss matched. A new more modern look would really enhance the property, the stools could not be used at the kitchen bench as they were too short. The cutlery is very old looking and more of it would be useful as well as more plates and bowls especially if there is more than 2 people staying there. The TV was on a broken table which we advised them of and it would not work half of the time on Kayo/Stan etc. The garage door had a remote sensor however it had been disconnected so you had to use a key, which took five mins to open and close because you have to put the door in the right position.If you have more than one car there is no where to park (apart from some parking spaces that are 500m away on the road) you can not use the visitor parking and if you do you could be asked to leave without getting any money back.The single beds are single children size beds so i would not recommend 4 adults stay there.Beautiful location but is let down by the interior of the apartment.

40 Coral Gate

If you are looking for a quiet stay in the Tweed, Coral Gate is ideal. In a secure gated area, the outlook onto the water is relaxing. A lovely easy walk along the river or around the complex and a short drive to shops, clubs and attractions.

Very clean. The property is getting a little tired needs an update. Must install smoke alarms. We had a great time in Tweed Heads.

Beautiful location

This property was not clean at all on arrival.Trying to get to sort out the issues were difficult as all emails to Gold Coast holidays bounced back ,finally when contacting Stringers property lettings main site did we get through.Cleaners were sent in again to deal with some issues but it needed a deep clean.It needs some decoration in places as well .Such a shame

Beautiful, quiet location with great views of Terranora Creek.

The apartment is situated only a short walk to the Tweed Mall and restaurants. There is an abundance of swimming/fishing/kayaking spots in the area, most of which are crowd-free. We really enjoyed the walking/bike tracks around the river and coast. You can safely walk or ride a bike for hours without having to worry about traffic. The view from the balcony is of the beautiful Terranora Creek. The area next to the creek is peaceful and a great spot to see and listen to wildlife. Plenty of fish, stingrays, native birds to be seen. The apartment itself has comfy beds, a washing machine, BBQ, stove and everything else you could possibly need. The complex is very clean and secure. This is the perfect getaway for someone wanting to just relax. I'm very much looking forward to my next stay!

Overall it was great. Me and my girlfriend cut ourself on bits of glass in the master bedroom so it had not been cleaned properly. Basic clean but not thorough. Linen and towels should be provided aswell as bin bags, washing powder etc. The view from balcony is amazing and we would definitely come back again. Good value for money. Neighbours are a bit territorial and one women shouted at my kids as they were using the wrong pool. The internat was intermittent.

A BIT DISAPPOINTING

There were several areas in the property which need thorough cleaning - glass windows and doors and fly screens were really filthy. Although inclement weather is nothing the owners can deal with; the steps leading to the house were slippery with a lot of debris build up on them. One of the toilets needed a new washer installed (running cistern). Non existent Wifi. We had received wifi instructions from the real estate agent - neither of which worked. The place is very tired and in need of some work. As it rained the whole time, we managed to get some "rest" and that was appreciated. However, I would not return.

Good location and facilities, would book again

Great location and well set up apartment. Check in was a little tricky due to border closers as keys needed to be picked up in Queensland and property is in NSW. Cleanliness was not good. Very grimy and cupboard under sink was disgusting. Apartment is on the second floor not the ground floor as it looks in the picture. Great to have books, puzzles and games in the apartment and the kayak was great. Neighbors were obviously not happy with holiday rentals being in the complex

This is a lovely place to have a holiday considering the excellent price. Peaceful water views and cooling breezes made it a great place to sit and relax with family. I would definitely stay here again.

Great townhouse in lovely surrounds. Beach (river) directly across from the complex plus pool inside complex. Main concern.... was no smoke alarms in townhouse.
