Barong on the Water est un ancien cottage de ferme offrant une expérience de chez-soi loin de chez soi, y compris tous les luxes modernes.

Avec 4 chambres confortables pouvant accueillir jusqu'à 6 adultes et 6 enfants, il y a de la place pour tout le monde, et puis certains.

- Visitez Tahbilk Winery et Wetlands Cafe. Découvrez la plus ancienne propriété familiale australienne et continuez sur la cave Mitchelton, récemment rénovée, offrant une vue imprenable sur la rivière Goulburn.

- Prendre le bateau d'excursion Goulburn Explorer pour un tour à Tahbilk et Mitchelton ou faire le tour de nuit et voir le Goulburn sous les lumières.

- Essayez l'une des meilleures pizzas cuites au feu de bois de la rue Bank au feu de bois dans la voisine Avenel, visitez le magasin Gadds Olde et goûtez quelques viandes vieillies de Scotts à la boucherie Avenel pour le barbecue..

- Fowles Wines fait un excellent repas de midi avec ses célèbres vins Ladies Who Shoot Their Lunch.

- Assurez-vous de mettre un bateau ou un canot sur le lac et visiter la rivière Goulburn et les lagunes pittoresques. Vous pouvez utiliser votre propre ou embaucher localement. Passer une journée à dériver de Seymour dans un tinnie ou un canot.

- Déjeuner à l'hôtel White Hart à Longwood. Roulez jusqu'à la boutique Ruffy pour les repas à base de produits locaux. Venez à la maison avec une route panoramique via: Nolans Rd, puis à gauche sur Ponkeen Rd et enfin sur la colline sur la Wickett Hill Rd.

Barong was a beautiful house and property, and dealing with the host was easy. The property is private and connects to the waterfront boardwalk that we took into town each day (20-25 mins walk) i would thoroughly recommend for any mid sized group and families.

We had such a lovely stay at this beautiful waterfront property. The location was perfect — right on the water and an easy walk into town. The fire pit was a highlight in the evenings, and the kids made the most of the huge backyard.The host was very responsive and easy to communicate with. We really appreciated the thoughtful touches like the nice linen, snacks, and a bottle of wine waiting for us.All 12 of us had a fantastic time and agreed we would happily come back again one day.

In a great location and ideal for families, we have enjoyed a long weekend at Barong on the Water. Excellent facilities and real care taken in the presentation. Recommend to anyone looking for a getaway stay with friends and/or family.

Lovely, clean property, with charm and character. Hosts, Sandra & Andrew were very accommodating. Would definately consider staying here again with friends. Well set out amenities and both kids and adults enjoyed the enormous backyard space, especially the fire pit. Perfect location for a mini getaway. Thankyou!

Amazing house, location and property owner

The location on the house was fantastic able to moor boat and jet ski in front of property. Facilities and amenities in house were amazing, extremely clean, well furnished and couldn’t speak highly enough of property owner.

This property is absolutely heavenly!!!! My friends and I stayed for a wedding we had in Nagambie, there was 12 of us and we absolutely loved this property, we already cannot wait to come back. Beautiful home and beautiful location. Owners were so lovely too! Couldn’t recommend enough.

Beautiful house and property. Comfortable, clean, lovely owners, had everything we needed plus some! We loved the lakeside location, played cricket on the lawn, patted “Fox” 🐴, toasted marshmallows on the outdoor fire and went for a dip in the lake. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Stunning Property with an awesome hostess

Barong is beautiful with its sweeping lawns. Many an afternoon nap was spent on picnic blankets in the shade. The house is perfect for 3 families. We went paddle boarding, played golf, went to a winery, had dinner at the brewery and enjoyed a session at the waterpark. Lots of fun had by all. I highly recommend staying at Barong. Lots of extras thoughtfully placed for our arrival too, Sandra went over and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful stay.

Family and Friends Weekend Away

We absolutely loved our stay at Barong on the water. The house and grounds were beautiful. The cupboard and fridge was stocked with food and snacks. The kitchen was well appointed with all we needed. The rooms were spacious and there was plenty of beds for 2 families to sleep comfortably. The property is close enough to town and accessible by a boardwalk but is very private as it’s set back from the road and the water. We will definitely be back again when it’s warmer to enjoy Nagambie lake and more.

Great Place on the Lake

Beautifully presented home with one of the best backyards in the region (on the Nagambie lakes) Very comfortable for our group of 7, well equipped kitchen and comfy beds, super clean throughout. Now, the location of the fire pit with the lake in the background was second to none. Sandra and Andrew were very friendly and easy to deal with and it was a very nice touch that we had some breakfast and other pantry goodies to enjoy. The lads and I loved this place and are already planning the next getaway. 5 stars

We absolutely loved this place!

The minutes we all arrived we were so happy we picked this charming, spotlessly clean and appointed holiday home. We were a group of 8 celebrating our annual early Christmas weekend away and not one of us could find a single fault. Comfy bedrooms, a kitchen with everything you could imagine, lovely light filled rooms and bathrooms and the incredible outdoor space! We spent most of our time out here - bbq, wine fridge, sink and huge table- and gazed out at the lake via the lovely gardens. We utilized the boardwalk at the bottom of the garden to wander into town (20 mins max) and do some shopping before returning for a swim and then a fire in the large fire pit with all wood supplied. We really were super impressed and will be back. The hosts were lovely and kind and booking/ instructions were great. Thank you Sandra for your wonderful house and property. You literally have thought of everything!!

50th celebrations with the girls

A relaxing stay was had by all of us! Barong on the Water is a lakefront farm house, that is secluded but still only a short 20 minute stroll along the boardwalk and paths into town. There is a massive outdoor fire pit by the lake with so much firewood! An outdoor undercover dining area is well serviced with a fridge and sink, and has a gorgeous view to the lake. There is plenty of parking onsite. Indoors is cosy and inviting, and the pantry is well stocked with the basics, and some delicious treats provide by our lovely hosts. We were a group of 7 adults, and there is ample space, with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms! Once it got a little chilly outside we came in for dinner and sat around the large dining table. This house is so well located, and you can make as much noise as you like, without the fear of annoying neighbours telling you to stop having fun. The hosts are friendly, welcoming and generous with an early checkin and late checkout! We will definitely be back!
