À une heure et demie de l'agitation de Melbourne, vous vous retrouverez dans notre retraite au bord du lac au centre de Nagambie. Notre maison est Ă  proximitĂ© du lac et dispose de 3 chambres spacieuses avec lits queen. La chambre principale a une salle de bain. Cuisine entiĂšrement Ă©quipĂ©e et coin repas / salon dĂ©cloisonnĂ© avec un deuxiĂšme salon. Jardin arriĂšre, espace extĂ©rieur couvert et barbecue. Our house is in a lovely quiet area, Please respect our neighbours. No parties allowed. If using the Club Elloura facilities please adhere to rules
If you use the BBQ- please clean it (extra cleaning fee if not cleaned). Please ensure dishes are washed and put away and the coffee machine is clean.
There is an external security camera at the front and rear of the house. There is no parking for boats/ jet skis.

We loved our stay at Lakeside Retreat - perfect location, clean, very comfortable and spacious, very well equipped kitchen and we felt quite "at home" in the house. Fiona and Richard are great hosts and easy to communicate with, check-in/out is very easy & there is no need to fuss with keys etc! Would love to return, Nagambie is a wonderful area and we enjoyed a beautiful lunch in the restaurant at Tahbilk Winery. 5 Stars to Lakeside Retreat from us (4 Adults - 2 sisters and our husbands who don't see each other often as live in NSW & WA!)

very comfortable and spacious

great communication with Fiona and Richard who also assisted with other questions. The rooms in this home are more spacious than expected in a house of this size. very clean inside and outside. neat tidy and very accessible. some small extras like a few games for adults and kids, also books, some minor pantry items and plenty of linen and towels.

The house was wonderful and would definitely stay there again - so quiet but close to everything - however the fridge did not appear to work properly at all during our stay.

Great House for a Getaway

I do not often give 100% Review but this property deserves it. Had a great stay with 3 couples for a wedding. The kitchen had everything we needed and a nice outdoor area to have a chat, coffee and wine. Loved the easy access on arrival. Boardwalk was great for some exercise and a short walk to town. The only extra I can think of would be a TV in the main bedroom but did not really miss it on this occassion as we were kept quite busy. I also felt confident if anything went wrong (Which it did not)_the owners would have answered promptly. Thankyou Fiona and Richard for the great stay.

Our son’s “destination wedding”

Perfect!!! The place was perfect, cannot fault it! Fiona was the perfect host, promptly replying to our messages if needed The backyard was beautiful with all the flowers in bloom, made it even more special Plenty of room for a family barbecue and this is where a lot of our family got ready for the wedding We had our makeup and hair done here, all together, along with fun and laughter and music Fiona even left us a wine bottle for us in celebration for the wedding!! Loved it! Thank you Fiona 😍😍

Short Family holiday

The photo's don't do justice to the property. Very spacious, absolutely everything you could desire is included. Short walk to town, beach, water fun near the rowing club, supermarket, restaurants and we even rode out to the wineries. The information pack/folder at the accommodation was VERY informative.

Super clean and lovely home!

A very easy and lovely stay, the house was very clean and tidy and had everything you needed. Close to shops (short drive) and also a 10 minute drive to Mitchelton winery. Excellent communication with the host. Thank you for a great stay! :)

Back in Time

The Property was excellent, we had a very comfortable stay. My only regret was that Nagambie hasn't changed in 50 years. To accommodate the new home owners in the area the infrastructure needs to improve dramatically. A lack of restaurants is obvious. I understand things are tough but $20 for a large container of Fried rice is ridiculous. The standard of take away for dinner was poor. Just my opinion.

Great for short stay in winter. Wedding at Mitchelton winery, easy drive. Rowing club for breakfasts (fireplace), dinners at Brewery (fireplace). Everything in the house was up to date and clean, plus little extra's...

Property was amazing, clean, neat and today and so easy to check in and check out of. The owner is contactable easily and answers any question (if you have any). The property was perfect for a group and was in the perfect location. Overall could not fault this property and highly recommend, 10 times better than a hotel/motel type accomodation!

We have always enjoyed stopping in Nagambie for a coffee or a bite to eat on the way to visit family. In 2019 an opportunity arose and we purchased what we now call Lakeside Retreat Nagambie.
It has been amazing to see the town grow and become a destination for great food, wine & recreation.

Voici ce qui rend cet hébergement unique

We love that you can park the car in the garage and embrace the beauty of lake life. The lake is a 1 minute walk from Lakeside Retreat.

Walking into town is around 10 minutes.
You will be spoilt with options for great food, wine and coffee. The walk is along the edge of the beautiful lake.

The wacky splash park, water park, beach, foreshore walk and parkrun start are all a 5 minute walk from the house.

Travelling to a wedding or function-Mitchelton and Tahbilk wineries are a 10-15 minute drive from Lakeside Retreat
