Perfect rental

We spent a relaxed week here, visiting Cabo and San Jose, enjoying the weather, the pool, eating out at a variety of restaurants, and especially enjoying eating in with Elba preparing a great meal ( if you get her to cook for you, do not do it on your last day - you will miss out on enjoying the left-overs the next day!)

Fantastic Stay!

This place was absolutely fabulous. The property is comfortable, clean and well decorated. The pool/ pool area was perfect. I rent a lot of homes and there are always minor issues/ questions. The owners were very responsive to the two questions we had (no issues) and were super proactive to unsure the check-in and check-out were easy. Great place to stay!

Villa Roma

The pictures do not do it justice. The home is absolutely beautiful. There were for of us staying there during our annual fishing trip. The host’s communication was second to none. The location was great.

Everything was impeccable from the hosts’ welcoming and excellent communication to the fine maintenance of the pool and gardens.. The property itself is gorgeous, well appointed and equipped. The beds were comfortable. We slept like babies. Amazing views from the upper floor. As an older couple we got around by Uber as the road is a steep climb. Our rides would arrive in minutes so it was simple to get around. Villa Romar is definitely in our top Villa rentals anywhere. Rob and Maria, our sincere thanks. We would love to visit here again. Unbelievable!

Pictures do not do this beautiful home justice! From the moment we pulled up, to the time we left to go home, we enjoyed every minute! Claudia was super nice, Elba is an amazing cook and Maria was very easy to work with. We love Cabo and villa romar, we are counting the days until we can come back!

Paradise in San Jose del Cabo

Our family stayed at Rob and Maria’s over Xmas and New Years. We all loved the gorgeous home. It has ample space for both common dinners and spaces to be on your own. The outside area is nothing but breathtaking! The location is amazing-walk to the beach and close to downtown San Jose. Rob and Maria are the best hosts I have ever had! They communicate and are responsive in every way! We definitely will be back!

WE LOVED VILLA ROMAR!

What a wonderful, relaxing, safe, clean and beautiful home in San Jose del Cabo. It is very conveniently located with a lovely view. The home has everything you need to make your stay enjoyable. Our family of five, with three teenagers in tow, had a great time swimming in the pool and dining outside with a fabulous breeze in the evening. Our added bonus was meeting one of the owners, Robert, who couldn't have been any nicer and patiently answered all of our questions regarding directions, activities, etc. I spoke to his wife, Maria, over the telephone, and she couldn't have been any more welcoming to her beautiful home. We felt safe, comfortable and thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Mexico. Muchos Gracias Maria.

Lovely garden palace

We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Romar. The house was clean, comfortable and well set up. The garden was a real delight with a diversity of flowers & birds and a refreshing pool. While access to the beach was good, it's too bad there aren't better pedestrian paths into town.

Amazing.

The house was exactly as pictured. It was clean and had everything we could have needed. The view was amazing and it was easy to get to. I would most definitely stay here again! Rob and Maria were very accommodating! Loved this house.

Relaxing, great location, great outdoor space!

Gorgeous and spacious home, pictures don't do it justice! We stayed with three families, totaling 6 adults and 3 babies (~1yr). It is a great space to relax, enjoy the sun and cook. Enjoyed walking to Zippers beach, and quick car trips to downtown, the more kid friendly (swimmable) beaches as well as Flora Farms. The kitchen is well stocked with cooking tools and appliances, and the washer/dryer was key for the messy kids. Very responsive hosts leading up to and during the trip. That being said, wouldn't recommend the home for toddlers - lots of beautiful art, stone floors, sharp corners and breakables. Better suited for a mature crowd.

Stunning property

We absolutely loved staying in this beautiful home. The outdoor area feels like heaven. So peaceful and beautiful! Interior was very clean and comfortable. We especially loved the gourmet kitchen. I would recommend renting a car as we had trouble getting an Uber and we were not sure how to get a taxi to the house. Also the pool was very cold I would recommend paying extra to have it heated for you. Though we were informed it would be soon getting a solar heater. All in all very happy with this home and would love to rent again.

Absolutely stunning

The villa was in the perfect spot. Easy drive to/from the airport. Easy drive or walk to the beach. Easy drive to downtown San Jose del Cabo, amazing grocery stores, One and Only resort, and fabulous Farm to Tables outside the city. If you’re reading this review, book this villa. It’s absolutely stunning.

absolutely wonderful

We first stayed at Villa Romar 4 years ago and loved it then, so we were surprised to find it had actually improved since then. There are many great, thoughtful additions, including comfortable sitting areas all over the grounds, which are lovely in themselves. It is the most comfortable and roomy house we've been in, and the location is just perfect. Being able to walk to beach every morning is really great, and the neighborhood is very peaceful & feels safe.. The owners couldn't have been more helpful, and responded quickly to all my questions. Thank you ; we hope to come back soon!!

Incredible home and an ideal getaway!

Can't say enough about how wonderful this home is. It feels like your own private resort, incredibly comfortable and quiet with luxury all around. The home is very well stocked, with all items you might need in the kitchen to make any meal, higher end appliances and cookware. The master bed was very comfortable and big. Maria and Rob have furnished the home beautifully and all of the furniture is updated and well kept. When we were there is was in the low 80's but we still paid for the pool to be heated, which was completely worth it as we could swim after the sun went down. This is a very private home, neighbors are a good distance away and very few rooms have a direct line to them. Maria and Rob were both attentive and responsive, we felt very taken care of. I would highly recommend this home and would stay there again. Thank you Rob and Maria!

Great relaxing stay

Maria's home worked perfectly for our family of four. Two older teenage children and their parents enjoyed having their own rooms and plenty of space to spread out. The pool was used and totally loved it. Maria is super responsive. Thanks for a great vacation and having the perfect place to stay,

Loved it

The property was absolutely beautiful. So much so, that it was hard to leave so that we could explore the area! January is a bit cool in the evenings, so we invested in propane for pool heat. It worked out well, as our 7 year old daughter barely left the pool. We would love to stay here again, highly recommend. Like others who've left reviews, we hired Elba to cook us brunch and dinner one day, with pool snacks/drinks in between. Awesome food and experience overall!

Exceeded all expectations.

I cannot recommend Villa Romar more highly. My husband and I brought our two twenty-something kids and their significant others for a week. The house is beautiful and stocked with every amenity imaginable. The pool and large, beautifully landscaped yard far exceeded our expectations, as did the house. As others have commented, the pictures do not do it justice. It is a 5 minute walk to the beach, where you can walk for miles. Thank you for being true to your word in every way you described your home and the area.

Gorgeous Home and Fabulous Stay

My husband and I booked Villa Romar to stay during Christmas with our 10 month old daughter, and my husbands 3 brothers and his parents. The house is beautiful and completely equipped with everything you need. There is wifi, Netflix, a phone, laptop and so much more. My husband and I stayed in the Casita with our daughter and Maria had a crib set up for us with worked out great for our daughter to take naps and keep her normal sleep schedule while the rest of the family could be loud in the main house. There are ocean views and the house is so close to grocery shopping, and restaurants. We also hired Elba to come cook for us the first night we were there and on Christmas. She was an amazing cook and so sweet. She had drinks and appetizers waiting for us when we arrived and after dinner was served she even cleaned everything. I highly recommend calling her to cook for you if you want to relax. We highly recommend staying at Villa Romar, you will be so happy you did. Maria is quick at responding and super helpful with any questions you have or anything you need, which is also a benefit.
