Host is extremely communicative and answered all our questions timely leading up to our stay and during our stay which was appreciated. Location for us was perfect. We were in the 4th floor out of 6 so great view as we were ocean front. Every day we watched the humpback whales breaching and splashing from the balcony. Condo is well appointed for all our needs. We were 5 people (2 couples and a single) so everyone had their own room. 2 bathrooms was no problem for us. Plenty of towels, tp and paper towels for our 9 day stay. We were nervous that there wouldn’t be space at the pool each day as it was 1.1-1.9 but we never had an issue with space at the pool or beach . We never had noise issues within condo or at the pool so it was perfect for us who wanted quiet time. We were concerned road noise would be an issue but honestly the waves are louder and only occasionally did we notice road noise. The road construction and traffic is a bit of a pain at the moment but it impacts everyone along the corridor towards SJDC so we just dealt with it when we went out. It takes about 10 min to drive into SJDC most times but with construction it can take a bitLonger . We drove into Cabo at least 4x which took about 30 min. We would absolutely stay again and we all were teary eyed to leave. The beach in front of the condo is swimmable and there is a Long Beach for daily walks. Lots of surfing too as there is a surf break next to the condo but again waves were not treacherous in front

Surf & Olas

We spent a week in the condo & everything was great from booking to checkin & the attention to detail. We really enjoyed the condo, the beach & San Jose. We would definitely stay here again.

Repeat visitor and will be our first choice again next visit.

Phenomenal place, especially if you like to surf, as there are three surf breaks within a few hundred yards of the property. If you don't surf, it still offers great views, is very close to downtown San Jose del Cabo, grocery stores, etc.

LAS OLAS

Property is well maintained, clean, and Carlene and Omar were great hosts. Omar was there to great us and walk us through the check in process. Some road noise, but the view of the ocean and wave out front could not be any better. We could lie in bed, drink coffee, and watch the waves to determine the best time to surf. Overall, an amazing stay. We will be back!

Poor communication between management and cleaning staff. Unit wasn’t ready. Dirty dishes, dirty laundry, garbage, and food left out in the kitchen and tables. Yes the cleaning staff came but we had to vacate while the staff cleaned. Felt like the cleaning was very rushed and incomplete. Floors were still dirty as were the counters. The unit is next to the highway and you can hear the traffic especially when large trucks use the Jake brake. Very loud. The dishes were all chipped and the cooking pans need replacement. Holes in the walls in the living room. Property has the location and the view. Definitely needs to be refreshed.

Priced right... Great value

Furniture condition 2 stars (every cloth surface on the couch, on the patio furniture, on the kitchen chairs is worn, stained and needs upgrading) Traffic 1 star (highway runs behind the building and big trucks use their air brakes allll day long) You absolutely can't beat this location. I didn't think I would love sitting on the patio watching the ocean and the surfers but it was so fun. This complex has seen better days, I would not love to be an owner here... deferred maintenace, deferred capital improvements, this was I'm sure a 5 star facility when it was built (25+ years ago)... but it has seen better days... everything is just shabby, the HOA needs to spend serious $ on exterior paint, fencing upgrades, pool upgrades, and 25% more per month on cleaning common areas. This didn't directly affect our visit, but don't be thinking you're staying at a 5 star FACILITY... when it's 2 stars. The owner of this unit needs to: replace sectional, replace cushions on kitchen and patio furniture, replace shower heads, fix leak on master bathroom faucet, buy bigger TV for the living room. All are about to fall below 2 star condition Sidenote... there were no ice trays... I bought two.. enjoy... we also only had 2 rolls of toilet paper... so I guess 4.5 stars for mgmt... This unit was priced perfectly. we felt like we got excellent value and if you are budget conscious like we were then you'll appreciate the spectacular ocean location and view on a Hampton Inn budget

Peaceful stay

We spent spring break with our 2 boys and their 2 friends. Carlene was the best owner I’ve ever worked with. She answered all of my questions and was very helpful. She went over and beyond. This condo was in the perfect area. Very peaceful, not crowded with access to other areas. We enjoyed our trip! Thank you

We LOVE Las Olas

The location and proximity to the ocean cannot be beat! We have stayed before a floor up but prefer the this unit as it blocks the lights from traffic being lower. The whole experience at this location is so relaxed.

Amazing apartment and host

Great staff, very accommodating and fun place to be in close to San Jose. La Roca Surf is just a few minutes walk. Great restaurants close by, dream vacation!

Come for the Whales & the Surf!

We enjoyed our stay here, especially the expansive balcony, where we had non-stop views of the whales, which we could see without binoculars. This unit has a nicely appointed kitchen and master bedroom/bath. The other two bedrooms were smaller and had great storage for luggage, etc. All beds were VERY confortable . Some furnishings needed tlc, but overall the unit was a great choice for us. We noticed some road noise during the early mornings , which we didn’t love, however it was perfectly quiet and serene on the balcony, where the only sounds we heard were the waves.

Rejuvenating

We spend a restful and rejuvenating Christmas Eve here. The property was clean, location was great, and we were received with great hospitality (including totopes with pico de gallo and guacamole!). Would love to stay here again.

Beautiful condo right on the beach

We really enjoyed our stay at this beautiful condo. It had everything we needed and the chips, pico and guac (& cervesas) waiting for us were such a nice touch! Carlene was an excellent communicator and Omar was there upon our arrival to help us get settled. The beds were very comfortable as well. It was also nice to be able to walk to Zipper’s sports bar just a couple minutes down the beach. Thanks so much, we look forward to coming back again!

Amazing place and Views

We had an amazing week! The views are incredible, the living area was spacious and comfortable, the king bed in the master was super comfortable! The welcome salsa and guacamole was amazing! This will become our new go to spot. Great waves all week for those who surf.

If you surf, stay here! If you don't surf, you should still stay here!!

We stayed during a week long surf trip with two teenage boys (13 & 14yrs) and couldn't possibly imagine a more perfect location. There are four surf breaks (Zippers, Middles, the Rock, and Old Man's) within eyesight from the balcony. Absolutely perfect. For the non-surfers, the location is still ideal and the views are phenomenal. This unit is on the corner and offers a larger balcony than the majority of the units at Las Olas. Close to San Jose, grocery five minutes away, etc. It's safe with 24/7 guard monitoring gate. The unit is decently furnished and the beds are comfortable. Do not hesitate to book this unit. You'll be pleased you did.

Amazing experience

We will definitely be back. This home was absolutely perfect from the moment we arrived with the beverages and snacks waiting for us along with our greeter who welcomed us, got us to the house and showed us where everything was. Carlene was amazing and super responsive any time we had a question or needed anything. Beautiful location and beautiful home. Beds/sheets were heavenly. We did not want to leave!

Slice of paradise

This rental property was amazing. My best friend was getting married so we were refereed to the condo this unit is in by the bride. Upon looking, this was the best unit. The owner is so kind, sweet, and extremely helpful. There was salsa and fresh made quac upon arrival with some extra water bottles and beers waiting for us in the fridge. Thank you! The condo was spotless and had everything we possibly needed for our stay. I loved being on the fourth floor because it gave us some privacy. The hammock on the balcony was by far my favorite spot to lounge. Another bonus of this unit were the extra beach chairs and umbrella in case you wanted to explore other beaches. My fiancé is a surfer and was able to rent some foamies from the rental place next door to the condos on the beach. The restaurants near by were great as well. All you need to do is walk next door by the beach. The beds were super comfy. lots of hot water. Tons of towels! I highly recommend this place! The only thing I wish was different was location. It got kind of loud with the traffic passing by. However, there is no other place I would have stayed. You can tune out the traffic sounds with a white noise machine or app. Thank you so much for your hospitality!
