Si vous êtes ici pour affaires ou en vacances, il n'y a pas de meilleur endroit! Très proche des monuments, des musées, du centre commercial et de la Maison Blanche, l’appartement dispose d’un imbattable «97 ans». Pour ceux qui préfèrent le métro, le transport en commun est abondant et très accessible.

Notre bel et pratique appartement d'une chambre est idéal pour les voyageurs d'affaires, les célibataires, les couples ou les petites familles en vacances dans l'espoir de vérifier leur liste de choix! Complet avec toutes les commodités, les clients doivent seulement apporter eux-mêmes et ils trouveront tout à portée de main. Nous pouvons accueillir confortablement 4 personnes dans le lit queen size de la chambre principale (avec sa propre salle de bain privative) et le canapé-lit super confortable dans le salon. Il existe également un Pac Nd Play pour ceux qui voyagent avec des enfants. Dormez bien dans cet espace magnifiquement conçu avec des touches de designer.

Le salon est spacieux et relaxant, discutez autour d'un café au bar de la cuisine ou savourez un verre de vin à la baie vitrée et regardez les gens qui vous regardent. Dans les mois les plus froids, le foyer au gaz est idéal pour se détendre et se relaxer après une longue journée de visites!

Il y a une grande SmartTV, avec accès au câble COMPLET et aux chaînes premium. La télévision est également équipée de Netflix, ainsi que de YouTube et de Pandora.

La cuisine est grande pour la taille de l'appartement afin que les personnes qui aiment cuisiner une tempête puissent profiter de l'espace et de la grande île. Trader Joe's est à seulement 8 minutes à pied, il est donc pratique de se déplacer rapidement. Cela étant dit, certains des meilleurs restaurants du district se trouvent à quelques minutes à pied, donc pour ceux qui ne sont pas enclins à la culture; Cet endroit est fait pour vous!

Great little apartment very close to metro entrance. A little difficult to get a large stroller down to the front door of the apartment but the host was great and has a folding baby crib as well.

The apartment was as described, clean and well equipped. Contact with host was good. What I missed in the description was the fact, that the apartment was in basement, though the windows were there and day light was popping in. All in all it was a very goof experience!

We wished we had a better understanding of moving the car during the street cleaning but it all worked out because we were gone that day. We were lucky so it is not the VRBO's fault. But maybe put info in future bookings.

The location was perfect for Metro use & access to Trader Joe’s. Property is best suited for able bodied people as the apartment is in the lower level & stairs to enter are tight. We were fine, but it is something to note.We encountered a few issues with a 10 day stay. Some basic supplies (not enough paper towels, no tissues, no additional trash bags, limited soap, linens) were not adequate. Property manager supported access to additional linens. Note that there is no washer/dryer. One ac split unit is in the bedroom & cools the entire unit.While overall clean, if you have dust/mild allergies, this may not be the unit for you. There is black mold in the bathroom, the shower door does not close (told it is on the list to be replaced), the walls & bathroom fan are covered in dust, & we did encounter stained bedding, many dead bugs, & a cockroach in the process of dying.Overall a good experience, minus a few details that can remedied fairly easy with greater attention to the cleaning process & supplying materials based in duration of stay.

“Overall a good experience, minus a few details that can remedied fairly easy.” We have addressed these issues! 1. The glass shower stall has been replaced. 2. During the summer one does need to regularly treat for pests, which we do. After treatment dead or dying pests can unfortunately appear for a couple of days. 3. Yes, we do keep backup towels and linens on hand in the event the guest requests extra. 4. Normally, Guests replenish consumables used during their stay, but we will also drop them off if requested as we did with this guest. 5. We alerted the housekeeper to look over the shower threshold as that is where mildew can accumulate unseen. 6. We keep the entryway clean and uncluttered. It is spray washed twice a year! As always, we appreciate it when our guests take the time to alert us to issues that would have improved their stay.

We love that are guests are getting out and about to the many restaurants within walking distance and the nearby Shaw-Howard Metro Station. Take the Green Line Metro south just 3 stops south to the National Archives which is on the Mall!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Overall the home was very nice. The only issue we had was that it had a smell to it. It smelled like it needed to be aired out. The filter on the ac unit was very dirty so we cleaned that to see if it would help and it did not. The walls could use a good scrub as there were quite a few cobwebs. Also, the coffee table was very wobbly, to the point where you would not want to out anything on it. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen and bathroom were very clean.

We appreciate guest feedback to help us improve our property. We had a guest who cooked aromatic foods and it took a bit for that to be completely aired out. To hasten the process we shampooed all the upholstery and carpets after this feedback. The living room table was tightened up. We swap the HVAC filter out every 3 months. After the very cold winter we had, I am not surprised that it really needed it. Thank you for the feedback!

Great stay at good price!

Stayed for a week to see the sights around DC. The apartment was clean, quiet, and close to Trader Joe's, restaurants, and the best coffee we've had on a trip (the Coffee Bar is just a short walk away). Was a very pleasant stay!

Had everything we needed and price was comparable to a hotel room. Much more space and very convenient to the metro, coffee shops and restaurants. Would absolutely stay again.

Short Trip to DC

Here’s some of the good, it’s so close to a metro station. Big plus. It’s pretty quiet. Great for 2 people. Nice kitchen. Good bed. Ok the other side of the coin. The entry, which has been mentioned multiple times in previous reviews is bad. It’s dark, steep and dirty. Not well lit. Especially difficult when wet, raining. This is a basement apartment and as such gets minimal sunlight and fresh air. The only air conditioner is in the bedroom and doesn’t get to the living room all that well. Because its basement you see lots of folks walking by if the shades are open. Kitchen is great but we tried cooking and without a kitchen vent it smoked up the place even though I was cooking on low. Can’t open windows or doors because of the mosquitos. The furniture is not comfortable and the coffee table it totally unstable. The back end is where the bedroom and bath are and it’s tight. Would not want to do this with 4 people. You have to go through the bedroom to get to the bathroom. As for cleanliness this is where we really were disappointed. When we arrived two large duffle bags full of dirty sheets and towels etc were in the living room. Ok they forgot to grab them, no big deal mistakes happen. But the dishwasher was full of dirty dishes, a dirty sheet pan in the oven. Brita water filtration was so dirty no water would come out. The flooring is bad and uneven in the kitchen. The bathroom floor trim is filthy and has mold in several areas. Why should I pay a cleaning fee?
