Magnificent gently views

Cosy little unpretentious cottage, spotlessly clean. Loved the log fire (and the generously provided firewood) and the sunny verandah with views that went for miles.

Lovely cottage and wonderful surroundings

The cottage was very comfortable and everything was catered nicely, especially the welcome breakfast in the fridge. We will definitely be back.

Comfortable secluded property

Comfortable property with all essentials for family stay. Food welcome pack left in fridge (milk/homemade jam/bread), which was nice.

Beautiful location

Good house for holiday stay, the owner is quite kind to set up related facility to use. Only one small thing to improve: put house number plate in front of street at higher and obvious location so the traveler can easily find it.

Comfy Cottage

My family and I had a very pleasant weekend stay in this cosy and well appointed cottage. We were staying in the area to attend a wedding at Somerley House, which was only a short drive away. The cottage and surrounding garden were very peaceful. Thank you for our comfortable stay.

Weekend Stay in Sutton Forrest

3 mates down for a wedding, stayed over for two nights at this lovely cottage. It had everything we needed and was excellently labeled up! Nice cosy fire, comfortable beds, and lots of room. Fantastic view off the front porch. Would happily stay again.

Enjoyed spending a long weekend in Sutton Forest exploring local area and local property. Very comfortable accommodation and a lovely place to wind down and smell the roses

Very cosy and welcoming

We really enjoyed the peaceful, quiet location of the house. The combustion fire was so nice to sit by and look out the window at the view. The breakfast food Geoff left was beautiful. Lovely weekend. Thankyou

Quaint cottage

This cottage was perfect for us, as we were attending a wedding at Montrose House. The house is quite cold but the fire does warm up the living area well. Shower is hot and strong (big plus), and the electric blankets were welcomed considering the cold. We weren’t given late check out or early check in which was a shame.

Cosy and relaxing

We had an amazing time at Sutton Tops. The property is very relaxed - it's great for lazing around or venturing out to explore. It is very clean and well-appointed. It's cosy and warm with the fireplace going and the huge window in the lounge room gives a wonderful view of the trees and farmland surrounding the property. It's well situated just a couple of minutes from Sutton Forrest and not very close to Exeter, Bundanoon and Moss Vale in particular and overall just very comfortable. We are already planning our next tirp.

Cosy and comfortable with room to move!

What a charming property this is! Every year we spend a slightly mad “Christmas in July” weekend with friends and so we make full use of the kitchen. There was plenty of room for all 6 of us (plus the Christmas tree!) and the kitchen had everything we needed. The fire kept the whole house beautifully warm and the breakfast provisions were excellent cooked up on the bbq and eaten while gazing at the stunning view. One of the best things about the property was that we could spend a hour gently strolling around the perimeter, meeting the lambs and just enjoying a really lovely break. Thanks Geoff - look forward to seeing you again next year!

Nestled in between paddocks within an easy drive to local villages, Sutton Forest cottage provided a comfortable base for our family to reconnect for the weekend.

Wonderful Farm Stay location

Sutton Tops is a comfortable, private farm-stay cottage, close to towns in the NSW Southern Highlands. Everything is provided for short stays. For longer stays, clothes washing facilities are available in close-by Moss Vale. This is a wonderful place to stay for a quick getaway or family holiday.

Relaxing in nature

Thankyou for a lovely stay. Your cottage was lovely and comfortable. We were able to do daily trips around the scenic Southern Highlands then relax in front of your fire when we returned. The view from the window was lovely looking over the valley with trees changing colour and some mist in the morning.
