À seulement 10 minutes de Phillip Island, le charmant village de Kilcunda possède un magnifique littoral avec des pistes cyclables et des sentiers de randonnée en hauteur. Bénéficiant de diverses plages, des baies calmes à la mer ouverte et au surf. Organisez un barbecue entre amis ou en famille dans notre spacieuse maison moderne dotée d'un grand balcon avec vue sur la mer, de collines et de verdure. Cette grande maison est idéale pour deux familles, avec des zones de divertissement privées à l'étage et en bas (y compris une salle de jeux et une seconde salle à manger). La plage et les sentiers de randonnée à pied et à vélo se trouvent à seulement 300 mètres. Ou tout simplement profiter de l'étage pour un week-end romantique en regardant les étoiles du balcon et en écoutant la pause surf. Procurez-vous le journal au célèbre café et épicerie gastronomique Killy et visitez le pub, situés à deux pas de notre maison au grand cœur.

Smart TV avec Netflix, lecteur DVD, Wii, lave-linge et sèche-linge. Bien garnie de DVD et de livres. Wifi gratuit.

Plenty of space and great location

Great communication with owners, large balcony we loved watching the stars at night. Big and comfortable and perfectly located to go for a walk in any direction very near the cliff walks and cafes

Awesome stay!

This was our 2nd stay in this house and we enjoyed our holidays thoroughly. Excellent house for a big family or even two families! Amazing views! We are looking forward to be back!

Such an amazing stay & host!

Maggie was first of all amazing, she is one of the best hosts I have come across. She was a fast replier and gave us every detail we needed. The house is nice and big for a big group of people and had everything we needed, what a great stay and great location. So close to the shops and beach, we would definitely stay again! Great value for money!

MotoGP much better than camping

6 mature age motorcyclists down from Queensland. We loved the size of the house and of course the laundry with 2 clothes driers. The big kitchen dining and lounge room was put to good use. The kitchen was very well equipped especially for our group size.

Great Place to stay

We stayed in December for our annual Family trip. Maggie was wonderful and a great help. Plenty of room for a giant teenager and three adults. I loved the upstairs and downstairs it was a great all that we needed. One of my fav parts was sitting on the balcony at night watching the sunsets. Thanks for a great trip made easy. And playing board games at night.

Retreat by the sea

We were pleasantly surprised by this holiday house. It was ideal, with more than sufficient space to accommodate two families for a weekend getaway. The location is fabulous. Within walking distance are scenic walking tracks, a cafe, the pub and a cute wine bar. At the house, we thoroughly enjoyed relaxing on the balcony whilst watching the sun go down. Communication and check in was a smooth process. Hopefully will return soon to enjoy the comfort of this house and the serenity of Kilcunda

Weekend away

This is not the first time we have stayed at the "Big House". We always find it as described with plenty of space and ammenities for our group. The communication with the owner is always prompt and very helpful to accomodate us. Location is terrific with a morning walk along the beach always a great start to the day, or an afternoon swim. We would definetly stay again.

Hi Wayne, we always enjoy welcoming your group to Big Heart, just wondering how we could further improve our value for money to merit a five star review from guests like your group? Not clear from your comment? For example, we recently invested in new air conditioning into all the upstairs bedrooms and living room, including one with Hepa filter for pollen high days, while keeping prices competitive for a 5 bedroom house…so we are always looking to improve. :)

Lovely big house for families, great location

We had a brilliant week staying at Kilcunda. Maggie is a very thoughtful, flexible and generous host. The house is perfect for two families, lots of rooms and space. We especially enjoyed sitting outside on the big balcony, enjoying the fresh air and the views. The house is in a great location - across the road from the rail trail and George Bass coastal walk, and a 5 min stroll to the General Store and pub. Highly recommend and I hope we will be back.

Very enjoyable house for our whole family

My family and I (7 of us) were very pleased with all aspects of the property including up-to-date appliances that all worked well, balcony BBQ was great, WIFI and Netflix worked well, as well as minor things we were surprised to have available including board games and body boards. The owners had obviously put effort into making our seven day stay as enjoyable as possible. Thanks.

Great Base

This was a great base for our family holiday. The separate wings gave everyone the space they needed. Close to Kilcunda store/pub with great coffee and food.

Lovely relaxing stay

Overall we were really happy, the property is nice and private with a view of the ocean from the living room, everything that you might need for the kitchen, bedrooms etc was supplied. Maggie was very communicative and helpful. The upstairs shower could do with a good scrub!

Excellent house for our cycling group

This large house was perfect for our group of cyclists with the many bedrooms and had great views from the lovely open plan area upstairs. Great balconies to enjoy. The only down side and an easy fix was that there was no TV reception on the large TV in the main living area. Besides this we loved our stay here and it was perfect for accessing the rail trail, the George Bass coastal walk and Phillip Island.

Happy to hear you enjoyed your stay, sorry to hear you had problems finding the free to air channels. The upstairs TV is a smartTV and free to air channels are accessible via the Wifi using the remote control. It is however not obvious how to operate this remote control to access these channels- based on your feedback we will make sure to include step by step instructions on how to access the diffferent options available on this TV (free to air channels as well as Netflix which we provide as complimentary). So thank you for your feedback!

Spacious house in a great location

Maggie was great to deal with, helping us sort out or short stay with no problems. Great spot for a weekend away with a couple of fishing mates.
