Maison de ville spacieuse avec deux chambres et trois salles de bains - 5 minutes à pied de Canyon Road

Il s'agit d'une maison de ville en duplex joliment décorée et récemment entièrement repeinte située dans le complexe de La Vereda au 707 East Palace Avenue. Il est à environ 5 minutes à pied de Canyon Road et à 15-20 minutes à pied de la Plaza dans le centre de Santa Fe. Il a une grande cour avant privée hors du salon et une magnifique terrasse hors de la chambre principale. Les deux pièces bénéficient d'une lumière naturelle abondante grâce aux nombreuses portes vitrées de chaque pièce. Il y a deux chambres très spacieuses chacune avec une cheminée Kiva et une salle de bain attenante. La chambre principale a un lit queen et une baignoire dans la salle de bain. La deuxième chambre a un lit double et une douche à l'italienne. La deuxième chambre a également sa propre entrée en plus de l'entrée dans la maison principale. Cette maison ne loue que sur une base mensuelle. Il y a un parking privé hors rue pour 3 voitures.

Charming Santa Fe decor, too many levels and steps for us, double Not queen beds as represented, management charged 200 for interim cleaning and housekeeper stole migraine meds with us in the house, kitchen is stocked with mismatched and extremely heavy glassware and china. Needs upholstery and carpet cleaning. It is spacious.

I’m sorry housekeeping did not steal your meds. Our housekeeping has been with us for eleven years, we manage seventeen homes with an average or 40 cleaning at each home per year. That’s over 680 cleaning a year. No one has ever mentioned anything going missing. I think it’s a bad accusation without any proof. I’m sorry about your meds but it’s unfair to blame on what is perhaps your error. Yes, the master bed is a queen and the second bed is perhaps a double bed. . I do agree with you about the carpet cleaning and we are We did appreciate your stay. Richard

Santa Fe getaway

Wonderful condo close to the Plaza. Very quiet and peaceful. Lovely neighborhood. Walking distance to restaurants and shopping. Close to Canyon art galleries. The condo has all the southwest design to please a visitor to Santa Fe. This is the second time I have stayed in this condo.

Comfortable and great location

I stayed at Casa Luna Luz for 2 1/2 months. Fabulous location at a reasonable price. Kitchen was well stocked with cookware and gadgets. Great patio and upstairs deck for an enjoyable evening of hanging out and sipping wine. As other reviewers mentioned, it could use some updating and the linens/pillows need to be replaced but overall it was very comfortable. The property manager was very responsive to anything I needed. I would stay here again.

the property was very dark and in need of repair. the assigned parking space was a great problem as it was very difficult to park and then turn aroundto get out. We actually backed into the wall and now need to repair our car. The third bathroom downstairs had no electrical outlets and the chest of drawers upstairs was broken and could not be used. The kitchenwas very small and the dishwasher was not leveled properly and the top shelf kept rolling out when we opened the door. On a positive note the renters did respond to some problems we had and even offered tohave us move. The location was excellent though!

Dear Meri, I am dismayed by your review - it is the worst review the property has ever received over the ten years that we have been managing it for the owners. Firstly a minor point, there is an electrical outlet in the guest bedroom bathroom. But the reason I am writing is so that other future potential guests understand your comments. As you should recall, we had numerous conversations before you booked the home and then again, after you booked the home leading up to your stay. Based on our conversations, I encouraged you quite a few times, to cancel your reservation and seek other accommodation- with a full refund. You choose not to do so. On your arrival, I also offered you another home. You choose not to! Your review has damaged the overall rating of Casa Luna Luz that will be quite difficult to recover from. I don't appreciate it as it was unwarranted considering the extensive handholding before and during your stay. Sincerely, Richard

Unit was not ready for our visit. Multiple maintenance, repair and replace issues were presented to host who responded quickly to our concerns but it took many days to resolve all the issues so that we were comfortable for our 9 week stay.

Perfect!

This twinhome was perfect for us. We have rented other homes over the last few years in Santa Fe and this one was the best with beautiful southwestern decor, spacious living areas, fabulous neighborhood and a quiet compound. It was just as stated and did not disappoint. We were within walking distance to downtown, the galleries, the restaurants and bars. Many hiking options available and all within 20 minutes by car. We had a few issues that Richard responded to immediately. Very receptive and always followed up. We definitely will be coming back for another month. Charming but showing it’s age; and not clean; great location

If you want a fresh, clean, bright, and up-to-date place — this is not it. However, if you are looking for vintage SF charm and a good location this has that. But it’s also a bit noisy being close to town: sirens, cars drag racing down the street, etc. Biggest negative: It is not up-to-date or especially clean. Formica countertops, aged fridge (drawers don’t close; pitted wire racks). 1. The grill didn’t work and was dirty when we arrived. 2. The electric, stovetop burner caught fire when we turned it on because of the grease in the burner pan. 3. The textiles (pillows, couch covers) were not clean (stained) and many were fraying or the seams were bursting. Carpeting on the steps is dirty. 1. The sliding screens on the first floor always fall off track. 2. The upper roof deck flooring is in bad shape (but has nice lounge chairs on it). It leaks into the Living Room during a hard rain. 3. In the upstairs Master Bedroom: There is no shower — you must sit in the Japanese soaking tub (Acrylic) and use a hand-held shower head. The tub is surrounded by old wood that is not treated to be used near water (or the sealant has worn off). 4. If you try to stand up and shower, water sprays everywhere, including into the open closet. 5. . The tile on the vanities is chipped and stained. We went downstairs every morning to use another bathroom shower instead. In that bathroom, the grout was falling out and the water pressure was bad. It is not air conditioned. This ma

Hi Cynthia, I am sorry that you did not find anything redeeming about the home. Some of the points you mention are inaccurate however. The grill igniter required a battery that I brought over there very next day. The soaking tub/shower in the master bedroom has a bracket that holds the shower wand and the wood around the area is teak and meant to be like it is. I do agree that the home requires updating but it is priced for its condition. The home is located on East Palace Avenue, one of Santa Fe's most exclusive streets, and rents for approximately half the rate as a home in pristine condition. Casa Luna Luz is large and has been recently completed repainted, has a lovely living room and dining room area, a private deck on the second level with views and a second guest bedroom with an office area and ensuite remodeled bathroom. It will appear to future guest that you avoided looking at the positives and focused on the negatives. The home does have quite a number of 5 star reviews and your review, although in someways correct still focuses on only negatives. All the best, Richard

Sweet Spot

This is a lovely home located within walking distance to the plaza. We took daily walks to restaurants, shops and the nearby park. The park is a block away and is a lovely, serene walk. I am so grateful that this rental accepts pets. We feel fortunate that we were able to stay in this adorable place conveniently located to everything and yet so peaceful. Thank you so much!

Best idea I ever had!

We decided to skip the second half of the Boston winter and spend it in Santa Fe. The house was charming and so well decorated. I felt at home immediately. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pans, etc. We bought a few extra things to add to the selection and hope the next group will enjoy some baking. Also, the location was perfect for us. A short walk to the plaza. The compound was quiet and we had nice neighbors. Everyone we met was friendly. Will definitely return.

Excellent location

This condo is in a great location. We were able to walk our dog one block away on Alameda. Canyon Road is easily walkable and so is the Plaza for the energetic. Kitchen is complete. Furnishings and linens are rather tired and outdated - could use some TLC, but live-able. It is a split level floor plan, important to know for anyone with limitations. Manager was available and responsive.

Great getaway

We were very satisfied with Richard who was available to make sure everything was taken care of when we called him. The weather was poor and we would not comes again in February but no one can control the weather. Location of the rental was perfect. Great also for our dog. Richard is a great manager.

The property was decorated in the Southwest motif. Very nice! The townhouse was only a 10 minute walk to the Plaza. I walked there every day. Something was always happening. Richard was very nice and was very quick to solve a minor problem that popped up. Wonderful place! I will be back.

Location and comfort near the Plaza

Casa Luna Luz is a spacious and comfortable adobe townhome a pleasant 15 minute walk from the Plaza. The separate dining room and living room with two areas (one for tv watching) were appreciated during a long stay. The deck and the enclosed patio were outdoor spaces that afford both sun and privacy for lounging and cocktails. The property managers, Leslie and Richard, are professional and responsive, which makes for a stress-free stay. Their preparation of the property ensures everything is in top shape and in working order, which was much appreciated!

Perfectly sited and well outfitted

My husband and I very much enjoyed our stay, alternating between cooking at "home" and eating out in restaurants well within walking distance.The house is nicely furnished and decorated with well chosen and, we assumed, well loved items of mostly local culture that add a dimension of their own to the experience of the house. While we were there in winter, it's clear that the outside spaces (a very large balcony upstairs off the master bedroom with ample seating and a patio and garden off the living room below) will be much used and appreciated in warmer months. When it snowed once, the two managers showed up with snow shovels, surprising us with their timely diligence. We felt that they were always available to answer questions, although we had few since the house's operation is quite self-explanatory. and a handy booklet explains most details. We had hoped to have my 95-year-old mother visit more often or even stay over but had not realized that the house has four levels and stairs without railings. That might be something to point out in the future. Also, a few throw blankets would be a welcome addition, as well as a new set of pots and pans (Teflon being somewhat suspect). Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed the house and highly recommend it to others who would like to be near Santa Fe center in a beautiful environment and quiet, walkable neighborhood.

From the moment we walked in we were charmed by the Santa Fe feel of this beautiful townhome. Light-filled, and spacious, my favorite part was the wonderful view off of the very large master bedroom deck. Beautiful decorations and very clean. Everything went smoothly from the time we made our reservation to our departure at the end of May, thank goodness, because this was our first time trying this! It's close to Canyon Road, with easy parking right next to the front door, the kitchen was clean and had everything we needed to cook with. We couldn't be happier with our experience here! Ample towels in all the bathrooms, comfortable furniture, television with voice remote and Comcast, we felt right at home and are so happy we stayed here!

Memorable Christmas in Santa Fe!

What a wonderful getaway for just about any time! The town-home is spacious, wonderfully appointed and maintained, and centrally located in a quiet and handsome compound on Palace Ave seven blocks from the square in SF. So convenient but so easy for everything we did. Adobe Casitas was stellar in attending to our needs and the Santa Fe experience can't be replicated. The Canyon walk on Christmas Eve was mesmerizing. Prior to co-founding ACVR, Richard, with an MBA from Lehigh University, lived and worked both in the US and in Europe and has 28 years of C-level experience as CFO and CAO. His most recent position was CFO for Belgacom (Belgium’s national telecommunications service provider) Fixed Line business in addition to CAO during a 9-year tenure with the firm. Before Belgacom, he worked as CFO in the financial services industry with 10 years at Chase (Europe Area) and 5 years at Clearstream (HQ in Luxembourg). Additionally, Richard served as Arthur Andersen’s firm-wide expert on euro implications
and also served as an executive director on a number of company boards.
Leslie is a thirty-two-year resident of Santa Fe and has intimate knowledge of its environs. She brings with her a background in the arts having attended The School of the Art Institute of Chicago as well as the Massachusetts College of Art based in Boston. Leslie is an entrepreneur and prior to ACVR she founded and owned Miss Leslie’s Fine Pastries & Wedding Cakes. Additionally, Leslie was employed at Thornburg Investment Management (a mutual fund company headquartered in Santa Fe) for fifteen years.
