Everything you need

A great property that has all you need. Close to beautiful Port Noarlunga reef and jetty and McLaren Vale wine region. Will stay here again.

A really comfortable home away from home. Kind hosts leaving fridge and cupboard full of essentials.

Amazing & cozy cottage

One of the best places I stayed at is this lovely, clean, and cozy cottage just next to one of the best beaches in South Australia - Port Noarlunga! Tamara is a very friendly, welcoming, and responsive host, always available to support when needed. Will definitely come back again. Thank you!

Very clean and everything we needed. The shower was poor. The spray was minimal and you couldn't adjust the height. But really it was a great spot to stay

Thank you for your feedback. I will have a look at the shower head and see if some of the jets are blocked. The shower head moves up and down if you lift or lower it.

Great location and quiet

This place is everything you could want, comfortable bed - in a bedroom. Lounge/kitchen, smart TV so I could watch Netflix. Very tidy and so comfortable, like a home away from home. Really appreciated the Tim Tams and wine BUT real milk in the fridge! That is a special touch.

Everything you need for a comfortable stay

For proximity to McLaren Vale, Adelaide and the lower Fleurieu Peninsula this place was perfectly located. Everything I could possibly have needed in terms of kitchen, bedroom, living room etc was provided. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars for location was that you need a car to get to shops and restaurants. The place is very comfortable, quiet and secure. Tamara was very responsive, and the price was extremely reasonable.

I'm a little surprised that you thought the shops too far to walk as the convenience of the property is walkable shops, restaurants, transport etc. The closest shops to the Port Noarlunga property are in Christies Beach (900m to Coles) and a whole range of restaurants on Beach Road which are a much closer walk than Port Noarlunga village which is 1300m away. I will laminate a walking route for future guests showing the closest shops which are half of the distance than the large shopping centre at Colonnades. The 24 hour servo on the corner of Dyson Rd is also a short walk and i'll highlight that too. I hope to see you here again and I really appreciate the fabulous condition that you left the property in. Thank you.

Overall very good but we had problems with the shower and parking

We were very satisfied with the accommodation apart from the Shower having two steps and no handrail for senior people and no power point in the bathroom - car parking difficult no room for passenger to get in and out of vehicle. Host was social and approachable.

Hello Tricia and Cliff, Thank you very much for choosing to stay with me. I'm pleased that you were happy with the accommodation and value your feedback. It's the only way that I know there's things to improve. I'm sorry that you found the driveway difficult. A standard parking bay is 2.4m wide and mine is 3.33 but I can appreciate it being difficult at times. For larger vehicles there are two parking spots at the front on the roadway. On occasion larger cars and vans have parked off-road at the front of the house and I'm happy to accommodate any guest who would like to use this parking so as to avoid reversing in or out of the drive. Many guests who have high vans, transporter buses and very large vehicles have used this extra area. Please let me know if you need it if you choose to stay again and I will make this parking available for you. Thank you for highlighting the shower access. You're right. Despite having non slip bathroom tiles and a non slip adhesive pad on the step there is the possibility of slips when exiting with wet feet and a grab rail would help so much to prevent an accident. I will have one fitted as soon as possible and add the picture onto the holiday site. Likewise with the power point in the bathroom. That's a simple fix and I will sort that one out too. Thanking you for your stay and feedback. It shows other potential guests that the reviews are genuine and you can't always get 5 star reviews. Nice experience

There was a nice bottle of wine and some nice Tim Tams to welcome us, thank you :) We had a very comfortable stay for a week at Tobies Cottage. Everything we needed was avaliable right down to pegs and coathangers. No complaints at all. Will stay again if available for next visit. Clear email communication for checking in and out. No further communication required.

Amazing stay in a great area.

My wife and I had the absolute pleasure of staying at Tobies Place for four nights. Clean, heaps of room, and comfy. Not a single negative thing to say. We loved that the train station, shopping centre, and beach were only 20 minute walks away. If we're ever back in the area, we'll definitely be contacting Tamara! She went the extra mile for us (the TimTams and bottle of wine after checking in late were insanely appreciated) and will make sure your stay is the best it can be. Cheers!

Similar to our other review for the last few months of 2021 Property was clean had pretty well everything there we needed It was very quite and secure with off street parking Any small issues we had were quickly rectified by Sean or Tamara I consider the property good value for money particularly with our long stay Surroundings were good and close to everything we wanted Overall very satisfied Cheers

Great little cottage

It had everything there for our stay of several months duration The location was great and it was very secure and quite with off street parking Sean and Tamara were very prompt to fix a few minor hiccups we had Nothing really I could say adverse of the property and I considered it value for money with our long stay of almost 5 months in total

Exceeded my expectations.

The unit was clean, well stocked with additional towels, linen and a warm bath robe. The bed was comfortable, access were accurate and the host, Tamara, a blessing to communicate with. Will stay again.
