Le Cottage sur McDonalds Route

Notre chalet est un vieux style de deux chambres avec un balcon de style campagnard couvert sur le côté est et nord et avec une salle de bains récemment rénovée et un salon / salle à manger confortable pour se détendre et regarder la télévision ou se détendre après une journée chargée attractions. L'emplacement est fantastique étant des minutes à Hunter Valley Gardens, Hope Estate, Roche et Bimbadgen et juste à côté de la magnifique Restaurant italien Il Cacciatore; très central et proche si vous assistez à l'un des nombreux concerts à Pokolbin. Il est à environ cinq minutes en voiture du Vintage Golf Resort & Spa et est entouré de vignobles, restaurants, cafés et toutes les attractions qui ont fait la vallée de la région viticole de Hunter un favori pour les visiteurs du monde entier.
Nous offrons un emplacement très privé et relaxant, un cottage confortable et entièrement autonome, mais au cœur de l'action.
Le chalet est le seul hébergement locatif sur notre propriété et partage la région près de McDonalds Road avec notre galerie d'art nouvellement construite.

Fantastic little cottage . Milk, butter, bread and wine were a welcome touch. Clean, comfortable and plenty of heating options. Balcony was lovely to sit on for coffee on the morning . It is closer to the road than it looks in the pictures . Lovely walk early in the morning through the property to the dam at the back . Would recommend!

We had a wonderful, relaxing stay at this peaceful cottage in Pokolbin. Surrounded by beautiful bushland, it was the perfect place to unwind after exploring the Hunter Valley. The cottage was spotless, cosy, and had everything we needed, including a well-equipped kitchen that made it easy to prepare our own meals.The bed was incredibly comfortable, and we slept soundly each night. The location is excellent, with countless wineries, restaurants, breweries, distilleries, and cafés just a short drive away. Hunter Valley Gardens is also nearby, making it a great base for exploring the area.We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful Hunter Valley getaway.

We had a nice, relaxing stay in the tranquil bush setting in the Pokolbin cottage, The well equipped kitchen enabled us to prepare our meals after a day of sampling different wineries. The cottage is cosy, clean & we had a good night’s sleep in a comfortable bed. There are more than enough wineries, restaurants, bars, distilleries etc in a close radius of the cottage, so really don’t have to drive far. Hunter Valley gardens is also close by.

Great little cottage in the heart of Pokolbin within easy driving to all the great wineries. Yes there is a main road nearby, however at night the traffic is very lite. Great for a cheeky get away.

I would highly recommend this place. It was a beautiful cosy cottage. It was very very clean . Even the bedding smelt clean and fresh. Had everything you would need for a great stay. I plan to cone afain with my daughter some time next year.

We did not see the host but the entry instructions, The welcome provisions including a nice bottle of wine and the house itself were all very welcoming. The setting right next to the watershed Gallery but among a large area of open Woodland was delightful filled from dawn till dusk with Pleasant Birdsong . The house met all our needs very appropriately.

The house is very clean very well taken care of. Hosts, Ron and Lyn are very nice and helpful. Close to wineries and restaurants. Grounds are lush and spacious , So many beautiful birds enjoying the birdbath outside the kitchen window.

We enjoyed 23 wonderful years raising our children, living and working in Collaroy in Sydney but we both felt that the time had come for a change of pace.
Art, wine and the Australian countryside combine in a wonderful way in Pokolbin and we have combined all three with the pleasure of providing accomodation on our 30 acre property in the heart of the vineyards.
Watershed Gallery is adjacent to the cottage and will provide an additional interest for guests visiting the region.
We want to provide an interesting experience for visitors and we are excited to be seeing our vision come to fruition.
