Loved the proximity to town and the comfortable reading chairs. It was also very helpful to have laundry on site. I’d stay here again in a heartbeat. The botanic Gardens are a must see!

Charming house in a great location. The property management team that look after this house are fantastic. Very helpful, friendly and responsive. Perfect location to easily walk to downtown. A couple small drawbacks that make it fall short of perfect: could have been cleaned a little better; kitchen could use some better cooking pans, extremely cheap non stick pans are provided. The latter complaint obviously is a preference. Decently comfortable beds and seating. Would definitely stay again.

This property had so many unexpected amenities. The host anticipates the guests needs (bug spray by the fire pit is just one example). Great walkable location close to downtown Boothbay Harbor.

Perfect stay. Great location and in walking distance to the historic town. House very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. Check in was seamless! Loved ending the day with a fire in the fire pit under a clear sky with a great view of the harbor!

Cute space - great location

The space was lovely, everything as advertised. Convenient location, very nice kitchen and spacious bathroom. Some drawbacks. And perhaps this was because we were the first renters of the season.1) Typically we check into rentals with the code to a lockbox, but this time we needed to coordinate a meet up to get the key. This made check in a little more challenging.2) Our biggest issue was lack of Wi-Fi. So we could not use our devices very well and we could not use the TV. The situation was remedied during our stay, but it took a couple of days and lots of back-and-forth communication was needed and coordination with people showing up to do work.3) No mirrors except for one over the sink in the bathroom. It’s very difficult for three ladies of a certain age to get dressed when there is not a mirror to be found.I do want to stress that the hosts/property managers were lovely and did their best to help us with the Wi-Fi situation. Things happen, but it did put a bit of a damper on our stay.

Cove Cottage

We loved our stay at the cottage! Great communication with the folks at Sea Maine - check in was so easy and the instructions for check out were very clear. The location was perfect - a very short walk to town, yet it was quiet and peaceful. Nice view of the cove too. We didn't use the upstairs but the loft looked cozy and nice for kids. Everything was clean and comfortable. We love Boothbay in the fall and our stay did not disappoint. I would recommend!

Great house in excellent location

We love this property and hope to stay again. The home was well appointed and very cute. I suggest taking the ferry to Monhegan island to hike cathedral woods to see fairy houses and eat at Novelty’s - the pizza is delicious and a best value on the island. Order takeout steamed lobsters from Pinkham’s Gourmet. Walking around the botanical gardens was another highlight. We were here for the Independence day fireworks and watched them from Topside Inn’s lawn, just around the corner and on a hill overlooking the harbor. As other reviewers noted, the view of the cove is wonderful. There is no water access but the views add so much to the visit. I enjoyed seeing the tide come and go.

Cottage on Mill Cove Peaceful

This property was as advertised, clean, pleasant to be in, convenient to the Harbor, full of kitchen amenities, comfortable. The host was friendly. We got used to the step down into the kitchen and bedroom!

Lovely cottage in convenient location

We had visited Boothbay Harbor in the past, but hadn't been in about 5 years. Wanted a comfortable, convenient house in our price range, and luckily chose Cove Cottage. Quiet, comfy, and clean, with everything we needed for our 1-week stay. There is a steep driveway, but after that it is an easy walk into town. The owner kept in touch with us as our date approached, and check-in was easy-peasy. Info about the cottage was in a handy notebook, so we quickly felt at home. Would definitely stay again!

Great cottage, great location

Perfect getaway for a couple. We were very pleased with every aspect of our stay. Thoroughly updated cottage with all modern amenities. Clean and neat - the host has thought of everything you need. Hint - move the table in front of the glass doors for a great view during meals.

Cozy Spot, Short Walk to Town

This was the perfect spot for our family vacation. The property is uncluttered and had most everything we needed for our stay. (Bring your lobster crackers & picks.) The space was sized right for our family of 4. The beds are comfortable & the bathroom clean. The galley kitchen has plenty of space for storing things like coolers, food, etc... Having a washer & dryer was wonderful! The outside dining space is limited, but you can make it work. The location of this property worked extremely well for us- just a short walk to town. The parking can accommodate 3 cars, though we just needed spots for 2. All-in-all, Cove Cottage has a happy, shoreline vibe. We enjoyed the time spent in this cozy home away from home.

Lovely cottage, great location

From check-in to our last morning, we LOVED our stay here. A lovely cottage with so many comfortable and pleasant touches in decor and convenience and a perfect location for walking to the restaurants and waterfront. Excellent and quick communication and answers to questions made our stay so easy and fun. Would definitely recommend and would love to stay here again!
