The location is NOT as described. IT is not a Short walk to the beach, as you would guess by looking at the listing. (Perhaps the owner will correct this.) Other wise the property is located in a large battle axe block, nice grounds, large spacious rooms. It is very rustic, in style, looking a bit tired and could benefit from some maintenance. We nevertheless enjoyed our stay.

A beautiful place to stay . Lovely views and plenty of room in the house for our group of 8 adults. The house was clean and every couple had their own room and bathroom. Just a few little maintenance issues that I have referred to the host . The host was easy to communicate with and gave very clear instructions.

A lovely cottage

We spent 3 days 2 nights at the cottage and it was lovely. Only minus is some ants running around but Bruce was on top of it quickly. Highly recommend!

Ocean View Cottage

It was a lovely place but a little rundown in several aspects, and noise from the freeway was noticeable. Great views and location high on the hill. Good communication with the manager.

Good stay

Overall great place. Some bits showing some wear, but great location, good size rooms, good outdoors, good view. Could do with some aircon upstairs for hot days. Comfortable for 9 adults and two kids under 2.

Cute cottage

Fantastic property with loads of space. We loved the horses in the adjacent paddock. Beautiful views of Kiama township and the ocean down the valley. The house is very spacious with a huge dining table. Plenty of bathrooms and sofas to accommodate our large group. Highly recommended for families.

Beautiful location

Beautiful views. We were a group of 9 adults, but still had plenty of room to move. Well-equipped new kitchen, plus plenty of appliances. Lovely shady side lawn for picnic lunches or afternoon drinks beside the huge fig tree, Only downsides were the hardness of the beds and the BBQ is not gas fueled. Would recommend and stay there again.

Amazing house - We loved it.

I just wanted to say what a beautiful place, even Mr echidna made a surprise visit. We had a wonderful time at the property, it has a beautiful view, the house was amazing and we totally loved it, did not want to leave. The gardens were a treat and we did enjoy the surrounds of Kiama too, beach, cafe's etc. Thanks so much, we will be back again. Regards Sharon

Beautiful and spacious

What a gorgeous place to stay. A beautiful house in a Really beautiful location. Gorgeous views. Ample parking. Well equipped kitchen with enough to cater adequately for a full house of guests. Will be back. Loved it. Note: the main bathroom has a bath with a hand shower. So some of us showered in the bedroom ensuites. And if you sleep with the windows open you will hear the freeway.

Outdoor lights can’t work. The light in the house upstairs is very dim, and there is a lamp that can't be used. The door and wardrobe door hinges of two rooms are loose. The hygiene is not good. There are many spiders and webs in the room.

Girls Weekend

School girls catching up for a weekend of shopping & fun. Great indoor fire kept the house nice & warm, well suited for 4-5 couples, plenty of room. & well equipped kitchen. Would of been helpful to have a broom to sweep the floors, this would be the only criticism as it wasn’t provided.

Spacious, private escape

We loved the convenient location. Close to Kiama but far enough away to be immersed in the beautiful countryside and have a lovely view of the ocean. The only downside was some road noise from the Prince's highway. The house had plenty of parking and outdoor space for pets to run around in, plus seating in the garden area. Inside was spacious with plenty of rooms and private areas but there were lots of cobwebs and resident frogs that kept visiting. The kitchen was well stocked with glasses, crockery and cooking equipment, however, some utensils needed repair or replacing. Overall we had a fabulous time and would happily stay there again.

Kiama Christmas

We arrived at the cottage to find that it was a little neglected in terms of cleanliness and maintenance. None of the outside lights worked and in two bedrooms no lights worked so we had to rely on the lamps for lighting. There were well established cobwebs outside and in the house(which was dusty too), with Daddy long legs spiders in every room and we found socks, tissues and dog hairs from previous visitors in the bedrooms. The kitchen was lovely and well equipped . Outside we had to pick up lots of animal dirt off the lawn before we could allow the children to go on it. Beside the first shed a glass door was laid and a large disused weedkiller container left on the ground. The outdoor table and bench was unusable with a plank on the wooden table sticking up and rot in the benches. The red and yellow bins were 3/4 full when we arrived so after two days we had nowhere to put the rubbish and by day 3 the smell of the septic tank would be apparent on an afternoon so we found it hard to enjoy the coastal breeze.

Amazing timber home with fabulous views

This property is a very well kept secret. The house was equipped with everything you need. The many rooms and bathrooms accommodated a large group with ease. I would highly recommend this property for a group that want to feel like they are in the country but close to the town. My only thought and not at all a negative suggestion is the beds were hard. Overall a great experience.

Great place to stay!

We loved the property. We were a little disappointed that the little things were missing... no wood for the fireplace or for the fire pit, no milk for a cuppa, no tea bags, sugar in a broken bag in top cupboard. Just the small things that make arriving easier.

Kiama

Excellent position and room for our family and friends get together. Safety lock for key was very hard to open. Door from bedroom to ensuite in lower front bedroom needs fixing. Need a few instructions re where firewood is and how to work TV. We couldn't get it to work but it was a very wet weekend.
