Passez du temps avec vos proches dans ce confortable bungalow en briques doubles récemment rénové des années 1930 au cœur de Katoomba. LA MAISON DU SOMMET. 4 chambres pouvant accueillir confortablement 8 personnes.

Système de chauffage central au gaz nouvellement installé, couvertures électriques sur tous les lits et ventilateurs de plafond.
La maison est nettoyée professionnellement et préparée pour chaque séjour. Draps et serviettes propres fournis.
Situé dans une rue calme, la maison est à seulement 10 minutes à pied du centre-ville et de nombreuses galeries, restaurants et cafés. Il est également à seulement 10 minutes à pied de la maison à Echo Point et à quelques pas des Trois Sœurs. À distance de marche de Scenic World.

The 4 adults enjoyed the spaciousness of the house and the proximity to Echo Point. We were in an oversized van so the parking was tight.

We had an amazing stay at Pauline's place, a great little property, excellent walking distance from Katoomba Centre, spacious, well equipped and laid out. Our host gave us very clear and seamless instructions to check in and out with a separate info book for Katoomba and Leura.We will definitely be back, thanks Guys!

The house was very nice and the street was very quiet.The only thing was the back bathroom had a large amount of dirt around the back of the bath floor.but overall we were so pleased with the comfort of your beautiful home.

Great option for multiple families

The summit house worked amazingly well for our 2 families (each with 2 kids) to all stay together in Katoomba. Great responsiveness from the host as well (not that we needed anything!).

The property was quiet and comfortable, great location. Does have central heating however does not seem to work well, very tight parking as drive was overgrown. Overall recommend this is a nice, quiet, clean place to stay.

Excellent Katoomba accommodation

Lovely, clean, spacious house. Excellent heating and facilities, except it has no dryer. Really good communication with owner, and I would be very happy to stay here again (we used it as our base for the UTA weekend).

Great Place to relax with all the creature comforts you need.

This is my first use of the Stayz application, and I found it all its advertised to be. My host Pauline was in contact all of the time making sure that our arrival & check in was all in place. The place turned out exactly like the advert that first attracted me to book it. Great weekend with the family.

Summit house weekend

The property was warm and comfortable on a very wet and cold weekend. We had a water leak in the back bathroom over the toilet. Also the driveway side gardens could do with a little attention as it was quite difficult to get in and out of the car due to the overgrowth, especially as it was raining and everything was wet. Easier to park on the street when there is a couple of cars.

Take your car

Our host was gracious. The house was spotlessly clean and renovated. The location of this house requires a car, without which it would be difficult to sightsee and get to restaurants,etc. The roof in the rear bathroom was leaking. The shower in that bathroom leaked water onto the tiles, and the shower head kept sliding down. The house is quite dark and we felt that the living rooms couldn’t accommodate as many as the house can sleep.

Thanks for taking the time to leave a review and we’re happy that you found the house spotlessly clean and well renovated. Re your comment on the location of the house, many guests have mentioned how convenient it is, centrally located and in walking distance to Katoomba’s main lookout and the town centre. Google maps show the house is, in walking times: 17 minutes to Echo Point, 8 minutes to RSL and 15 minutes to the town centre. Re the leak in the roof, please accept our apologies again. As you know, we had unprecedented rain leading up to your stay which resulted in a small leak above the bathroom. As the house has two full bathrooms and the leak was small and did not affect the use of the rear bathroom we left a note explaining the situation as well as a small gift to compensate for any inconvenience. This seemed preferable to cancelling your stay. We are pleased to say that the leak in the roof has since been fixed by professionals. As far as the house being dark, it’s only to be expected given the gloomy weather on the day of your stay.

Pros- Comfortable bed, clean bedding & towels. Bathrooms & kitchen fittings as photos. Bedrooms as photos. Walking distance to Echo Point & Three Sisters. Cons- Dark & chilly when entering property. Hall, living room, dining room & sunroom darker than photos show- some windows obscured, guessed it was to block out view of neighbouring property and many dustbins/rubbish(rubbish on street from neighbouring property too). Condition of some areas of the property do not indicate being newly renovated(photos available), peeling & dirty interior paintwork on doors, frames and windows. No garden furniture.

Spacious and Comfortable Blue Mountains Retreat

We recently stayed at this beautiful house. The house was perfect for our family of eight - there were four bedrooms and two bathrooms, so everyone had plenty of space. The house itself is a bit old, but the kitchen and bathrooms were recently remodeled and looked great. The kitchen was well-equipped with everything we needed to cook meals, and the kids loved the selection of books and games in the house. One thing to be aware of is that the driveway is quite tight, so it was a bit challenging to maneuver our rental car (a Kia Carnival) into the space. Overall, though, we had a wonderful time at the house and would definitely stay there again.
