Beautiful mid-century modern home with private heated pool (open Mar-Nov), one block from Main St in charming Fredericksburg, TX. This home is built modeling a Frank Lloyd Wright design with elements of the Hill Country incorporated into the structure. This 3 bedroom split level house has an open kitchen, living/dining area, large fenced yard with patio & gas grill and is an ideal vacation rental for families & friends. The moment you walk in the home you will feel like you can immediately relax, unwind and enjoy the enormous backyard and pool! It's so private and quiet. It is the perfect place, it is My Happy Place!

Our stay was very relaxing and peaceful, we loved it! The pool was clean and heated, all the shops were around, and we really enjoyed the live music on Saturday. Thank you for our HAPPY PLACE!

Our Host Craig was awesome! He was very responsive if we needed something and he took care of everything we needed. The house was perfect with enough space for our larger group of 6 and everyone was pleased with the stay. House was clean and well supplied. We will definitely stay at the Happy Place again! Great experience.

My Happy Place

We had a great stay in Fredericksburg. The house is very well located - we walked to Main Street multiple times. Additionally, the kitchen was well stocked with cooking supplies and the house was very clean. The owner also supplied floaties for the pool, which added to the experience. 10/10 would recommend.

The house was beautiful and in the perfect location. Beds were comfortable and the house is very nicely decorated. Homeowners are very quick to respond to any questions and were very accommodating to our needs. The yard is gorgeous! Beautiful view and amazing pool.

This is a great property with a wonderful backyard and private pool. The owners are local, so I highly recommend since you aren't dealing with an agency or someone that does not know the area well. Great location!

Enjoyed our stay! Home is one block from Main Street (20 min walk to heart of downtown) on a wide street in a safe neighborhood. Hosts were very friendly and accessible. Beds were comfortable, only downside was one secondary bedroom was 2 sets of stairs away from bathroom. Would highly recommend this home!

This was a great place to stay. The pool was perfect on our hot day, and it was one block from Main Street. The owners were very nice and accommodating, and beds were very comfortable. A very lovely home. Coffee pot was broken, but owners are addressing it. Ten stars!

My Happy Place!

Craig and Gina have a really lovely home, and my daughter, son, and I truly enjoyed our short stay. We met Craig upon arrival and it was reassuring to know the owners are nearby if there was an issue. No issues here, though! The property was super clean and well-supplied, and the pool was excellent! We are so appreciative of the comfortable and welcoming place Craig and Gina have here. Truly was a happy place for us to take a long overdue and much-needed getaway.

Perfect and Indeed A Happy Place

My Daughter wished to spend a couple days in Fredericksburg with friends as they celebrated her birthday. There were many factors as to why I selected this truly Happy Place instead of the many others available. From the beautifully private, fully stocked with amenities and serene, lush back yard...to the warmth of the very well thought out interior decor and extremely comfortable beds and pillows...to the very close proximity of shopping and dining, this quiet retreat had an energy of peacefulness, relaxation and fun. There truly was nothing that they needed, and everyone was extremely Happy and appreciate for a weekend of forever memories. I will be booking this place again as summer guests visit me in Fred. I wish it was my own place !!! Thankyou so very much Craig and Gina. Everything was perfect!!!

My Happy B-Day at My Happy Place!

This is a Fantastic property with Fantastic hosts!The property is located close to everything.All you need is your clothes and some groceries everything else is provided.And the pool makes it like it’s you’re very own resort!

We are 7th generation “locals” to Fredericksburg and we both were born and raised in Fredericksburg.

Voici pourquoi l’hĂŽte a choisi cet hĂ©bergement

We purchased the property from Craig's parents in 2001. He grew up here and we raised our son here as well. In 2016, we found a smaller house to downsize to and My Happy Place was born!

The home has a private heated pool with a spacious deck and patio perfect for gathering and entertaining. The location lends itself extremely well to the growing west end of town with all it has to offer!
